It was a cold winter day in Tokyo. It was the beginning of March, and the Sailor Scouts had 2 weeks off from school. Lita awoke in her apartment, yawned, and got up. She looked at her calendar. Tomorrow would be 6 months since she and Hawks Eye had been together. She smiled to herself and thought about him. She thought about the first time she had met him. How he had fallen out of the tree, and she helped bandage his cut. She remembered how they spent the whole day together and how they shared their first kiss together. She remembered it like it was yesterday. She remembered how much he loved her...he even took a hit for her because he didn't want to see her get hurt. "I couldn't live without you," were his words that he told her. Lita snapped out of her trance and made breakfast for herself. After cleaning the dishes, she showered and got dressed. Just as she finished drying her hair, the phone rang. It was Mina. "Hey Lita!" she said. "Hi Mina! What's up?" replied Lita. "I'm at Serena's house. We wanted to know if you wanted to come over and watch a movie with us?" "Sure! I'm not doing anything." "Good! Come over now. We still need to pick a movie...that's going to be a nightmare!" groaned Mina. "Okay, I'll be right over!" Lita laughed. They both said bye to each other and hung up the phone. Lita put on her coat and boots and headed out the door. * * * Lita arrived at Serena's house 10 minutes later. The snow had just started to fall when she arrived. She rang the bell. It was Mina who answered the door. "Hey Lita! Glad you could make it!" she said. Mina, Rae, Ami, Rini, and Darien were in Serena's living room. "Hi everyone!" said Lita with a smile. "Where's Serena?" "She's in the back getting snacks,” said Rae. Suddenly, Serena appeared holding a huge bowl of popcorn. "Oh, hey Lita," she said, "I didn't hear you come in." "So what movie are we watching?" asked Mina. "How 'bout 'The Three Boys'?" asked Rae. "No Way!" Cried Mina. "I want to watch 'Long Lost Love'." "We watched that last time Mina, or did you forget already?" said Serena sarcastically. She turned to Darien. Giggling, Serena asked, "What do you want to watch, Darien?" "Umm...I don't really care what we watch," replied Darien. "Why don't we watch 'Smart Savers'?" asked Ami. "That movie's about smart people, Ami," said Serena. "Yeah and your not smart enough to understand it," giggled Rini. "Why you little brat! Come here!" cried Serena. Serena began to chase Rini around the house. Everyone laughed. Just then, a movie popped into Lita's mind. "Why don't we watch 'Enemy at the Gates'? I heard it was a really good," said Lita. "Oh yeah! That movie was great! Now, why didn't I think of that?" Rae said. "Yes, that movie sounds good. I here it has a good educational background on the War," Ami said. "Educational? It's just a movie, Ami,” said Serena, who finally stopped chasing Rini. "I'll get the tape." Serena when into her room and got the tape. She popped in the video and the coming attractions came on the screen. "Hey Lita, isn't it going to be 6 months since you and Hawks Eye have been together?” Serena asked. "Yeah," was the only thing Lita could say. She could feel her cheeks going red with embarrassment. "Lita, you’re blushing," said Rini with a smile on her face. She and Ami started to giggle. Lita blushed even more. Then Darien asked, "Why didn't you invite him over?" "Oh because he works late on Wednesdays," replied Lita By that time, Hawks Eye, Tigers Eye and Fish Eye managed to find their own apartment. Hawks Eye found a job working at a bookstore. He worked from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, expect on Wednesdays, which he worked 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Fish Eye also managed to find a job too; she worked as a cashier at the supermarket. Tiger's Eye was the only one of the three who hadn't found a job yet. So, he kept the apartment clean while the other two were gone. The movie started. Ami sat next to Rae, who sat next to Mina, who sat next to Lita. Oh the other couch sat Serena and none other then Darien next to her. Rini sat on Darien's lap. After an hour of watching the movie; when the second bowl of popcorn was halfway gone, Serena took a piece of popcorn and threw it in the air, hoping to catch it in her mouth. Unfortunately the piece of popcorn hit Rini's head. "Hey! Watch it Meatball head!" cried Rini. She grabbed a hand full of popcorn and threw it at Serena. Half the popcorn flew into Serena's hair and half hit Mina and Lita. "Hey!" cried Mina grabbing some popcorn and threw it at Rini. However, it hit Serena. Serena threw some popcorn at Mina, who ducked, and hit Rae and Amy instead. "Serena!!" cried Raye. "She started it!" wined Serena, pointing at Rini. Rini then cried, "Food fight!" Popcorn went flying everywhere. Even Darien and Ami were throwing popcorn. Within 5 short minutes they had popcorn all over the living room. They finally got tried of throwing popcorn at each other and stopped. Besides, they had to clean it up before Serena's mom came home and saw the mess. Serena brushed the popcorn out of her hair, while Rini got out the vacuum. Serena vacuumed the living room while the others picked up any popcorn she had missed. After 10 minutes of cleaning, Serena put away the vacuum, and sat down on the couch and sighed. "Boy, I'm tried!" said Serena. "Your tired just from vacuuming?! You must never clean," Rae commented. "That's not true Rae!" yelled Serena. Rini giggled. "And what is so funny?" demanded Serena, putting her hands on her hips. "Your room is always a mess," she said. "Well, your room isn't any better!" "It's cleaner than yours...besides I'm a lot neater than you." "Why you little!" Serena said between her teeth. Laughing, Lita said, "Oh, stop auguring you two." "Aren't we going to finish the movie?" asked Darien. "Anything you say, Darien." said Serena who now had big hearts in her eyes. Rae rolled her eyes and sighed. The others laughed. They played the rest of the movie. After the movie was finished, they went to Serena's room. Serena, Lita, Mina, Ami and Darien played the board game 'Clue'. Rae and Rini just watched. "I think I know who it is!" cried Serena on her turn. She looked at the cards. Her face fell. "Oh no! I had the wrong room!" cried Serena. "Well, your out of the game now, Serena," snickered Rae. "It's in the rules." Serena put back the cards and begin to cry loudly. "Serena! The whole neighborhood can here you!" cried Rae. Serena stopped crying and stuck out her tongue. The rest of the game, Serena tried to hint to Darien who the murderer was. Darien already had the room and the weapon. Serena tried to tell Darien that it was Mr. Green, who was the murderer, by pointing at Lita's shirt, which was green. Rae caught her and yelled at her. Finally Ami figured it out and pick up the cards. "I won," declared Ami. She put down her marked sheet and the cards. "It was Mr. Green with the Lead pipe in the Billiard room." She was right. Serena began to wine 'cause her Darien didn't win. Mina laughed. Rae just sighed. Then Rae thought about something. Tomorrow would be 6 months since Lita and Hawks Eye had been together. It had also been 6 months since the Dead Moon Circus last attacked. They had never defeated the Dead Moon Circus, so how come it wasn't attacking peoples dreams anymore? Rae had a bad feeling about this...obviously the others saw the worried look on her face. "What's up Rae?" asked Serena. Rae explained her thoughts about the Dead Moon Circus. "Oh, I wouldn't worry," said Serena. "Besides, there's been no sign of them anywhere. You’re worrying yourself too much Rae." "I guess your right...but I still have a bad feeling about it, you guys," she replied. * * * At the Dead Moon Circus the Amazon Quartet were standing in the center ring of the circus tent. Zirconia then appeared before them. "So girls, have you been enjoying your 6 months off from work?” He asked. "How come you never sent us on a mission, Grand Zirconia?" asked Jun Jun. "That's because Queen Neherenia needed time to gain more energy,” replied Zirconia "More energy for what?" asked Para Para. "She needed to gain more energy to give to you so you can find Pegasus...and destroy the Amazon Trio." There was a moment’s silence. Then Zirconia said, "Come with me." The Amazon Quartet followed Zirconia to a room with a big mirror inside it. "Here are the Amazon Quartet, my queen," he said. Queen Neherenia appeared inside the Mirror. "Well, it's about time that you brought them to me, Zirconia" she said. "Yes, I'm sorry my queen, it won't happen again," he apologized. "Amazon Quartet, I made Zirconia bring you here so I can give you more energy. You will use this energy to find Pegasus and the golden crystal," Queen Neherenia continued. "Now give me your globes." The Amazons each had their own globes. Cere Cere had a yellow globe, Jun Jun had a dark blue globe, Para Para had a light blue globe and Ves Ves had a red globe. They each made their globes float through the mirror. Then the Queen placed her dark magic into the globes. The globes floated back to each of the Amazons. The dark energy absorbed into their hands. "Now go and find Pegasus!" She said. She turned and her image faded from the mirror. "That you so much my queen!" Cere Cere called after her. "But who we go after?" Asked Ves Ves. "Here," said Zirconia, handing them a picture of Lita. "Oh, she does look like she contains Pegasus and the golden crystal," said Jun Jun. "She is special," continued Ziroconia. "You must look inside her dream mirror as well." "Why?" asked Cere Cere "Because, if her dream contains Hawks Eye inside of it, she must also be destroyed, along with the Amazon Trio." "Yes, Grand Zirconia," they said. "Now go find her!" * * * Back at Serena's house, Darien, and Mina were playing the card game "War". Darien put down the Jack of Spades and Mina put down the Jack of Clubs. "War," said Mina. They each put 3 cards face down, on top of their Jacks. Mina smiled as she flipped over the Queen of Hearts. "Beat that!" She said. Darien flipped over his card, which turned out to be the Ace of Hearts. "Ahhh!" cried Mina. Darien flipped over the cards on Mina's side. He had gained the Jack of Diamonds, the Queen of Spades, and the Ace of Clubs. "No!" cried Mina. "Those were my best cards!" "Better luck next time," said Darien with a smile, as he put the cards into his pile. "Hurray! My Darien's going to win!" said Serena. Mina groaned. Lita laughed and looked out the window. The snow was coming down fast and heavy. It covered everything as far as she could see. "I think I should go 'cause the snow is really starting to come down now," she said. "I'll drive you if you want, Lita," said Darien. "No, it's alright, its not that bad." Lita headed for the door. She put on her shoes and coat and turned to the others. "Bye!" she said to them. Before Lita left; Serena, unable to control herself said, "Tomorrow, call and tell us what happened!" "Yeah, spill the details!" Chimed in Rini. "You guys!!" cried Raye, upset that they wanted to hear about Lita's personal life. "Hey! I just want to make sure she gets home safe, that's all!" Serena snapped back, even though she did want to hear what happened between Lita and Hawks Eye. Lita, going a very deep red, said "Alright, I'll call you after I get home." Lita said her goodbyes, turned and left and walked down the front steps of Serena's house. Lita looked down. The snow was up to her ankles. " I guess the snow was a lot higher than I thought." Lita began to walk home. The cold wind blew in her face. The snow fell faster and heavier. Soon, the snowstorm turned into a blizzard. Lita fought her way through the snow and wind; trying to see what street she was on. She squinted at the sign. She was on Sunrise Lane, which was 4 blocks from her apartment. She walked on. Her hands were numb from the cold. Her face was bright red from the wind. "Oh, why am I doing this?" she thought. Then as if another person were answering her question, a voice in her head said, "If I don't get home I might miss my date with Hawks Eye. Oh, I can't let that happen!" She continued to walk to her house. After a few minutes, she stopped and looked at a sign. She was now only 2 blocks away from her apartment. She was so cold and tired. She couldn't go on. Just then, Lita saw someone walking toward her. Even in the blizzard, she could make out that the person had long light blue hair. Lita moved a little closer. "Hey, is that you Lita?" said a familiar voice. "Fish Eye?" asked Lita. The figure had turned out to be Fish Eye, who had finished her cashier job for the day and was going home. "What are you doing here?" Asked Fish Eye. "I was walking home from Serena's house," Lita said. "What?! In this weather?!" Lita nodded. "But I don't think I could walk anymore." Fish could see that Lita was having trouble standing. "Where do you live?" Asked Fish Eye. "About two blocks from here." Fish Eye helped Lita up and walked Lita to her apartment building. Lita opened the door to her apartment and sat down on her couch. Fish Eye looked around Lita's neat apartment. Fish saw a heater on the other side of the room. It was the same heater her and the others had in their apartment. She walked over and turned it on. The apartment quickly warmed up. After 10 minutes, Lita was finally able to take her coat off. Lita turned to Fish Eye and said, "Thank you for helping me." "It was nothing," Fish Eye stared at Lita. After a minute she said, "Why didn't you stay at Serena's house?" "Oh," said Lita, the question caught her by surprise. "I was afraid that if I didn't get home, I might...miss my date with Hawk's Eye..." she finished quickly, starting to go red again. Fish Eye stared for a moment, then smiled. "You must truly love him to walk through a blizzard just to make sure you see him tomorrow." Lita's face turned deep red, as she smiled back at Fish Eye. Fish Eye looked around again and then asked "Don't you have parents?" "Oh, they died in a plane crash..." she replied. "Oh, I'm sorry!" "No that's okay, besides it was a long time ago, anyway" Fish Eye looked at the clock on the wall. It was 5:30. "I have to get back and clean the apartment." Lita looked up surprised "Isn't Tigers Eye suppose to keep the apartment clean, since he didn't find a job?" Fish Eye laughed, "You don't know Tigers Eye's version of 'clean'. He never puts anything away!" Lita laughed. "Are you sure you'll be alright?” “Oh yeah,” Fish Eye said as she got up and headed for the door. After Fish had left, Lita was making herself a cup of tea when the phone rang. She picked it up and answered with a “Hello?” On the other line she heard a hysterical Serena. “Lita! Are you okay! The news said was dangerous outside and that people shouldn’t go out!” Serena yelled. “Take it easy Serena,” Lita said. “I’m fine. I met up with Fish Eye and she helped me back the rest of the way.” “Oh, well that’s good. Did you hear from Hawks Eye yet?” “No, but I don’t think he’s home from work yet.” The two continued to talk for another five minutes. Lita hung up with Serena. It wasn’t even a minute later when the phone rang again. This time it was Hawks Eye. “Lita, Fish told me about you,” he said sounding worried. “Are you okay?” “I’m fine. I’m still a little cold, but other than that I’m fine.” “Good. So we’re still up for our date tomorrow?” “Of course!” Hawk laughed. “Okay, good. I’ll pick you up at five o’clock tomorrow afternoon, how’s that?” “That’s good.” Lita and Hawk were on the phone for at least another half an hour. The next day, Lita sat around watching TV all day. She couldn’t wait until five. Finally, five o’clock rolled around. It was three minutes of five when the doorbell rang. Lita jogged quickly to the door and opened it. “Hawks Eye!” She said wrapping her arms around him. They exchanged a kiss and she invited him inside. “I’ve got something for you,” he said. He pulled out from behind his back a dozen white and pink roses. “Oh Hawk, they’re beautiful.” Lita said taking them. “Let me go put them in water. After she did so, they drove to the restaurant in Hawk’s car. It parked across the street from a well-known Italian restaurant. He knew that Lita had always wanted to eat there. They ate their dinner, paid the bill, and walked back to the car. Hawk drove down to the park where he and Lita first met. “I know it’s covered in snow, but I thought it would be nice to come here anyway.” “I don’t mind the snow,” Lita replied. They walked down the barely shoveled paths to the lake. The stood about five feet from the frozen water, hand in hand. A few minutes later Hawk turned to Lita. “I’ve got something else for you,” he said. “Something else? After the flowers and the restaurant?” Hawks Eye smiled and reached into his coat pocket. He pulled out a small, black, velvet box and handed it to her. She looked at it for a moment and opened it. Inside was a gold heart locket. “Oh, Hawks Eye,” she said while still admiring it. “You like it?” “Like it? I love it! You’re so good to me.” Hawks Eye took the necklace from the box and put it on her. Lita looked down at it. She looked up into Hawk’s maroon eyes. “I love you,” she said. Hawk put his hands on her shoulders and kissed her. They kissed for a few more minutes. As they kissed, a girl with pink hair walked out from behind a tree. Hawk noticed her and stopped kissing Lita. “Isn’t this place so romantic?” The girl said. Lita turned around a looked at her. “Yes,” she said. Hawk didn’t say anything. “What’s the matter, Hawks Eye? Don’t you agree with me?” The girl finished with an evil like grin. “How did you…? Who are you?” Hawk demanded. She smiled and held up a yellow ball. “You’ll find out soon enough,” she said as her clothes changed into a much different outfit. “Lita, run!” Hawk nudged her to start running. They jumped through the snow trying to get away. Hawk told Lita to keep running, and he stayed behind to protect her. “Don’t try anything with me, Cere Cere,” he said. Cere Cere laughed. “You’re foolish to challenge me.” She held her cue ball above her head. Hawks Eye turned around and a torch of fire appeared in his hand. He blew the fire at Cere Cere, who used her cue ball to reverse the fire back at Hawk. He ducked right before it hit him. When he looked up, and Cere Cere was gone. “Lita!” he yelled. Cere Cere cut Lita off. Lita wished she had transformed into Sailor Jupiter. Now she couldn’t. “What did you do to Hawks Eye?” she asked the enemy. “Who really cares? I only care about your dream mirror!” Cere Cere shot the cue ball with her stick. The ball bounced from tree to bench to Lita. Her dream mirror appeared, and Lita fell to the ground. Hawks Eye just arrived on the scene. “Cere Cere! What have you done?!” “What you should’ve done.” Cere Cere held out her hand and blasted a wave of energy towards Hawk, sending him to the ground. Meanwhile, Fish Eye was on her way home from work. She was passing by the park when she saw Hawks Eye’s car parked on the side. Curiosity struck her and she walked down the path, following the footsteps in the snow. She heard a lot of commotion and then saw Cere Cere attacking Lita. “Oh no!” she said out loud. Cere Cere approached the dream mirror. “It’s not the one I’m looking for, but I’m interested to see what’s in it.” She stuck her head through the mirror and was shocked at what she saw. “Hawks Eye!” she yelled. She pulled her head out and looked at Lita, who still lay in the snow. “How can you dream about that bird? Ewe, I’ll get rid of your dream mirror, and him.” “Don’t you dare!” Said a voice. Cere Cere turned around. “Who’s there?” “I am, and I won’t let you hurt either of them,” said Fish Eye. Ce
