| details like fuu, you couldn't really call this a commision, as i made no money off of it. it was just a costume for a friend that i offered to make. ^^ originally meghan had wanted a jubei-chan costume (the ninja outfit) and i had agreed. but after some consulting with dad, i didn't think i had the time or skills to make a decent attempt at it. so after throwing around LOTS of ideas, we came up with vanessa from kof. funny thing? neither of us have even played that game before. ^^; |

| how? the shirt was just a regular sleeveless shirt pattern that was made from an off-white cotton. meghan wasn't big on showing off her midriff, so we kept the shirt its original length instead of shortening it to match vanessa's design. and once again, dad was nice enough to do the buttonholes for me. ^-^ we had some troubles locating the perfect fabric for the pants at our local wal-mart and hobby lobby, so meghan and her mom shopped around at their local fabric store (she and bunny live about an hour and a half away from me ^^;) and found a very nice marbled brown cotton. once again, i just used a regular pants pattern, altering it slightly to accomodate for meghan's long legs. ^^ the tie was borrowed from her father. |

| thoughts even though i wasn't being paid, i still worked very hard on this costume to ensure it turned out nice (which i thought it did.) so, i was a little hurt when meghan only wore it for a few hours on friday and then never again for the rest of the con. ;-; still, it was good practice for me. i've spoken more to meghan since ndk than i have to bunny, but i don't know if she has any more plans for this costume either (i doubt it. ^^;) |
