Gundam: Dragon Wars Episode 6: The Cry of Warpath After several days of travel, we had finally made it to the first colony attacked by the New OZ. The colonists had built several new homes on a different site, letting us look at how the colony looked after the destruction. James was the first to see this horrible site. There was practically nothing there. Nothing! Just a bunch of craters where missiles had landed. After all, most of the colonists were killed in this campaign. Luckily, this was a colony in a wooded area, so the colonists were able to start up a tree- top colony to try and make sure that these strikes would never happen again so out in the open. As I looked out upon what was left of the colony, I saw that there were still some fragments of the missiles that were launched at them. I told Guy to try and get as much of it as he could while we report in to the space station nearby. Once he gathered enough, he would come back up and then would bring in the remains of the missile to have it analyzed by the lab there. However, once we got into space, we seen that the space station there was badly damaged and could not analyze our only clue on what happened down there. But, then I remembered that Guy was a specialist in the field of metallurgy, so I told him to stay down there and analyze it himself while we helped on repairs to the station. The repairs didn't take long with some of the Gundams working on the heavy work and the other pilots working on getting small repairs done. It was no time at all that we had the entire station repaired as good as new or close enough to it. Just as we dusted our hands off and started to go to our rooms to rest up for a while, Guy ran in quickly and said, "Hey, I got the analysis of those fragments done!" I turned around quickly and replied, "You did? What are the results?" "Well, the metal is a strange metal that is normally used to make missiles lighter. That normally means one and only one thing." "Well, three things to be exact. First, whoever did this has to have a high-tech Gundam, not mobile suits like we were facing for a while. Second, this person has to have some heavy-duty armor to be in need of lightweight materials for missiles. Third…" "He has to be working for the New OZ," James butted in. "Exactly what I was about to say," Mike replied. Guy then responded, "So, where do we stand on this issue?" "Well, I do have to say that it is dangerous for a person to have lightweight missiles because he could be able to store more then. But, I just don't think that it's very possible that it would be that. However, one thing's for certain and that's he's very close by because he knows we're coming now and he'll be gunning for us. We have to be on alert. We can't let another disaster happen to the colonies again." James and Guy responded, "Understood, sir," and saluted Mike. Mike saluted back and went to retire to his quarters for a while. He had a tiresome day and right now, he needed to take a good, long nap. Later on, I was just about to go to sleep when the general alarm went off in the station. I quickly got into a pilot jumpsuit that he rarely got into, but he did design, and ran down to where the bridge of the space station was. Just as I got there, the commander of the station said, "Glad to see you here. It's the same Gundam that was here the last time. The same design and the same specifications. It's him and I'm 100 percent sure about it." "Alright, where are the others?" I replied. "They're already down at the hanger, awaiting your orders." "Thanks." With that, I ran off and got to the hanger where the other pilots were all in their custom-made pilot jumpsuits and were ready to fight. We all got into our cockpits and flew off to the area where the mysterious Gundam was spotted. Guy and Andrea were the first to land on the surface. They got transformed from their jet modes and into their battle modes. They started to head out into the woods ahead of them, looking for the mysterious Gundam. Then, James landed and followed them into the woods. Finally, I landed in my Custom Gundam with my Zero Gundam right beside me. I commanded the Zero Gundam to Mobile Doll Mode and went off into the forest right behind James. We searched the entire area, but we didn't find any traces of the mysterious Gundam. We were about to give up, but we then reached a clearing in the forest to a plain-like area. We looked up and there, up in the air, was the mysterious Gundam. Guy was the first to open a network channel to all of the mysterious Gundam and us. He stated, "This is Guy Lowenstein of the Gundam Force. State your name, Gundam name, and purpose of being here." A deep and clear voice came back, replying, "I do not need to tell you anything, but since you all are going to die, it makes no difference to me. I am Dian Warpath, pilot of the Gundam Warpath. My purpose is to destroy you, so just say goodbye and let me destroy you easially." James came on the speaker next, "Are you really sure about that? After all, we are 4 Gundams trained by Gundam Force. And you are just one Gundam." Andrea then came on and said, "No, he's from Gundam Force, also. He was trained along with us, but he was like Mike. Didn't pass his qualification exam. I think he's in cohorts with Dev." Dian replied, "Wow, you are absolutely correct. I am part of the New OZ. Come on, do you think it was that hard to find out?" I finally came on, saying, "Listen, you destroyed a colony that is a protectorate of the Gundam Force. Surrender your Gundam and yourself or be destroyed in the process." Dian thought for a second and said, "Well, when you put it that way…NO! TRY AND DESTROY THIS!" After he said this, he pulled out a large beam cannon that was really several beam cannons put together. He started to charge it up as he opened up his breast vulcans and started to fire at us. Andrea and Guy went one way while James and I went another dodging his shots. Andrea started to power up the beam cannons in her Gundam's hands and aimed them right at Warpath. While she was doing this, Guy pulled out his machine gun and started to fire shots at Warpath to distract him. Once Andrea had full power in her beam cannons, she let loose the powerful blast, but as the smoke cleared, the blast seemed to do little damage at all. James and I knew what to do. James opened up the special deflectors that he has in his shoulder vulcans and started to charge them up as he fired a barrage of missiles right at Warpath. I came around and was using my Beam Machine Gun to try and sabotage his beam cannon, but it didn't work very well. James aimed his shot right at the chest of Warpath as I prepared my attack. I turned on my Beam Scythes mounted in my Gundam's forearms and jumped into the air and sliced right at the beam cannon. I was able to cut through it and get down in time to do minimal damage to my Gundam. Then, James fired his shoulder vulcan's powerful blast right at Warpath, sending him to the ground almost powerless. However, he rebooted his systems rather quickly and flew off before we could get a chance to apprehend him. I turned to James and nodded my Gundam's head to show that he did a good job. He did the same to me telling me I did a great job as well. We got back to the station and started to repair our own Gundams. This was a rare feat for us because normally, crews would be working on them to get them in top order. But, in the academy, we still do learn how to repair a Gundam because we'll never know when we need the skills to do this on a deserted planet. I turned to James and said, "Well, I guess the Warpath is here." James responded, "Yes, it is here, but we need not fear it. It's only just a larger hunk of metal that he's carrying around. Very sluggish, but it does pack a lot of firepower." Andrea then said, "Yes, but it's sluggish because it has a lot of armor on it. After all, my beam cannons didn't do anything to his armor." Guy came back and said, "Not really. It did do a little damage, but not enough to really notice." I then responded, "Yes, it truly is like a tank with the firepower and the armor, but it needed a skilled pilot to take controls of it, and Dion is a very good pilot. After all, he was my partner in the simulators and scored about as high as I did. Well, wherever he is, I know he'll be back." Guy then said, "Yeah, and I have a score to settle with him from way back in the academy days. He'll pay now, and I have the knowledge to beat him."
