Gundam:  Dragon Wars
Episode 2:  The search Begins

	As Mike woke up that morning, all he could think about was the kidnapped 
representatives.  When he woke up, he thought about them.  When he took his shower, he 
thought about them.  When he ate breakfast, he thought about them.  Even when he was 
at work, he thought about them.  He wondered where they were going to go.  And where 
was this prison colony that the New OZ had.  And, if they did find it, how were they ever 
going to get past the security.
	But Mike was not the only one that thought about it.  James did, too.  He also felt 
shame in his heart.  He had given the order to launch off and to go and battle those new 
Gundams that belonged to the New OZ.  He was the one who let the guard down on the 
building.  He was the one that let Lucifer Dev get in there and kidnap everyone.  He was 
the one to blame, not Lucifer.  He was at fault.
	Mike walked into work that day and seen that James was there already, working 
on upgrading his Gundam and running diagnostics on it.  Mike could almost tell what 
James was thinking about.  He knew that James was the leader of the Gundam force and 
that he was the one who took the front of the blame for every Gundam in his force.  Mike 
had almost imagined what James was thinking about.  Mike approached James to talk to 
him.
	"Hey, James.  Here a little early today, eh?" Mike said.
	"Gah!  Don't sneak up on me like that!  I don't like it.  Well, I am here early 
today for a reason," James replied.
	"Oh, really, what for?"
	"I am trying to upgrade my Gundam and run some diagnostics on them as well."
	"Ah, I see.  You are also thinking about what happened last night, aren't you?"
	"Is that any of your business?"
	"Why, yes it is.  After all, I am your friend."
	"Yeah, I know.  Sorry for getting upset at you.  I just feel that it was my fault that 
the representatives got kidnapped.  After all, my force was on century duty."
	"But, you didn't know then.  You know now.  The Gundams that you were 
fighting, what were they?"
	"To tell you the truth, they were mobile suits.  I believe they were classified under 
the name of Talgese IV.  They had a bunch of brest and shoulder vulcans on them and 
blasters on both arms.  I think they were more of Blastoids than anything else."
	"Well the model could have been of a Talgese IV, but they had the fire power of a 
Blastoid.  I think that it was truly a distraction just to get you away for a few moments."
	"Yeah, but I didn't know that until when I came back down from the moon.  Man, 
it really stinks to be a commanding officer of a bunch of Gundams."
	"But you are the commanding officer and you should be proud of that.  After all, 
you were chosen to lead this group for a reason."
	"Yeah, I was, thanks for the help Mike"
	"Anytime James."
	Just as they finished that sentence, Andrea and Guy came in and started to talk 
with Mike and James.  Andrea started by saying, "Anything new on what happened to the 
representatives?"
	James replied, "Nope, not yet.  We are still searching the area for the signature 
trace of the Diablo Gundams.  Maybe we might be able to get a lead on them."
	Guy came in and said, "Or just have another wild goose chase.  After all, he was a 
mechanic.  He could have changed the frequencies or made doubles of it."
	Mike thought for a moment and then finally said, "Wait, what were the colonies 
that were under attack?"
	Andrea went over to the computer and looked them up.  She then replied, 
"Colonies 340-350.  Most of them are normal colonies, ones a water world, and another 
is a mining outfit."
	Mike then asked, "Okay, now, where is the location of each.  Just give me a 
general area."
	Andrea typed in a few more clicks on the keyboard and then brought up a map of 
where the colonies were.  She then said, "They are out over by the Devil's Ring."
	James then asked, "What is the Devil's ring?"
	Guy came in again and said, "Well, it's the most dangerous asteroid belt to cross.  
Several of those asteroids are jagged and pointed.  They would go through a Gundam's 
armor in less than a second.  But, it would be the perfect place to hide if you were on the 
run."
	Mike then responded, "Or the perfect place to hide a bunch of government 
officials.  I think they are out by that asteroid belt.  Andrea, could you bring up any 
suspicious activities other than the attacks that have to do with the Devil's Ring?"
	"Sure," Andrea responded.  She clicked a few more keys on that keyboard and 
then brought up the listings of all the other suspicious activities.  She then told the others, 
"There was a mobile suit group that went out to try and fight this problem, but three 
Gundams, as reported by one of the survivors, came in and ambushed them."
	Guy asked, "Were they the Diablo Gundams?"
	Andrea then replied, "Negative.  None of the descriptions match the descriptions 
of the Diablo Gundams."
	James then said, "Well, we have reached one conclusion.  One, we have found out 
where the prisoners just might be.  Two, we have found out that the colonies that have 
been under attack are close by to where his base may be.  Third, we have found out that 
there is not only the Diablo Network in this thing, but also three other Gundams.  And, 
from the description of the mobile suits that went out there, which, I think, were Aires 
II's, they have a lot of firepower in them.  We are up against a whole fleet of Gundams 
now.  I guess we will have to help you out, Mike."	
	Mike came back by saying, "What?  Help me out?  I am helping you guys out."
	James then said, "But you are the commander now, aren't you?"
	Mike said, "You want me to be the commander?"
	"Yes.  You have proven yourself last night and this morning that you are worthy 
to lead this group.  Don't you think so, Guy?"
	Guy responded, "Sure I do.  I trust James's word that you will make a good 
leader.  Right, Andrea?"
	Andrea then responded as she came back to the group and shut down the 
computer, "Well, yeah.  Of course I trust what my James."
	Mike then said, "Your James?  You two are going out?"
	James then put his arm around Andrea's shoulder and said, "Of course.  We have 
been going out for a while now.  I thought you knew."
	But Mike really did know.  He just didn't want to believe it.  He had feelings for 
Andrea even when they were in training to be Gundam pilots.  But, when he didn't make 
the cut, James must have moved in and taken her heart.  She then didn't want to see Mike 
as a love of her life, but as a friend.  She saw James as her love instead.  Mike was hurt 
because of this, but he never really wanted to accept the fact that James was with Andrea 
now.  Mike then came back, "Oh, yeah, now I remember hearing about that.  Sorry I 
forgot about it."
	James then said, "Well, what should we do today, Commander?"
	Mike then said, "Get your Gundams upgraded today.  Tomorrow, we head out for 
those colonies and see what went wrong."  After he said this, everyone went to work on 
upgrading their Gundams so that they could head out tomorrow.
