Are you sure you don't have to study?
Don't worryabout it. Math is my favorite subject! Unlike my classmate Irma, I always study for it ahead of time. (giggles)

How's everyone at home?
Everyone's fine, but quiet busy. My mom's a judge and my dad's a laywer and psychologist, and myolder brother Peter is a bone fide surfer!

What do you do for fun?
I love taking photos so I always have my camera with me. I play basketball too . . . and at times, I listen to classical music.

You've told us about the things you like. Are there things you don't like?
Ooh, bugs! Not loving bugs at all.

How about boys, anyone you like?
Um . . . yeah, there's one boy I sort of like. But he's mixed up with a bad crowd so . . . (thinks)

Were you ever scared of fire?
Oh, I was very frightened! Fire is so hard to control as it is . . . but I got better at it, and now I use it to help people. That's the best thing! (smiles) That and finding things in the dark.

Any other powers?
I'm telepatic! I can hear what peole are thinking. Do you want to do the interview without speaking? But you won't get anything on your tape recorder! (giggles)
