During my past visit to New York, I saw ground zero firsthand for the first time. My digital camera is 2 years old and cost $200 so the images are not top quality, but bear with me. The experience is undescribably, incredibly eerie. This page is dedicated in memorium to all the blood that fell on that day 8 months ago.

It was incredibly strange to see these two lone glass skyscrapers standing between ground zero and the waterfront

This sculpture was salvaged from the wreakage of the towers and is currently in battery (liberty?) park

This building was covered by a black veil. The sign says "we will not forget" and some other stuff that I didnt get to read.

The best view of the hole available (taken by climbing a lamp post) and also a great view of the cross made from two beams out of the debris.

A literal view of the twin towers, this cloud was hanging over the exact spot where they once stood.
