Caine the Longshot

Paradise
Caine Never says a word throughout the whole anime,
and only appears in two episodes. He only has one eye and wears
a strange mask. He has a very large sniper rifle, and is an excellent
shot from ridiculous distances. His rifle is not just very large,
it is HUGE. It looks a little bigger than a normal sniper rifle,
until he lays it on the ground. The barrel telescopes out, making
the gun more than 15 feet long. When Caine first shoots, his gun
blows huge holes in whatever it hits.
In his first appearance, he and the other Gung-Ho Guns attack
a group of gangsters. When he starts shooting at Vash and Wolfwood
in episode 23, Vash goes to take care of him. Since Caine shoots
from far distances, Vash gets in a jeep to get to him. Vash fools
Caine by taking off his coat and leaving it in the jeep, making
Caine think that Vash is still in the jeep. Vash then "breaks"
Caine's gun. He shoots the barrel in 5 different spots so it falls
into pieces and then shot the scope. Caine, knowing Legato or
Knives would kill him for his failure, pulls out a revolver and
shoots himself in the head.
