Rosemon Castle

Late Summer

Bunny smiled as she finished the song. She was suprised that people were reacting this way to her singing voice. And though she couldn't remember she figured it was passably good.

"Okay, I only have one more song to sing then I will turn it back over to the orchestra."

The crowd voiced their protests but Bunny just smiled and turned to Angel. "'My only love'"

Angel nodded and started the song with sharp notes from her flute. She was slowly joined by the other musicians. Bunny started singing, her voice carrying to every corner of the ball room,

"Deep in my soul

Love so strong

It takes control

Now we both know

The secrets bared

the feelings show"

As Bunny sang her eyes searched the crowd looking for Darien. She passed him up once not seeing him at first then focused her eyes on his. Smiling softly, she continued to sing.

"Driven far apart

On a shooting star

Darien leaned against the wall, watching as Bunny sang letting her voice wash over him. He turned, talking to Jedite about something, when he suddenly felt someone watching him. He turned back to Bunny and blinked at the tenderness in her eyes as she sang the song. He felt as if she were only singing for him. He held her gaze, giving her a sly thumbs up signal.

"Even though you're gone

There was a deep quiet as Bunny finished the song, Angel could even see some of the guests wiping tears from their eyes discreetly. She also noticed that Endy and Bunny were staring at each other.

Jedite who was also noticing his friend gaze, jabbed Endy in the side and gave him a small push toward Bunny. Endy stumbled and turned glaring at Jedite before walking to Bunny. Bunny moved and met him halfway on the dance floor.

"Umm hi.." Bunny said nervously.

Darien reached down and brushed a stray lock of hair from her face, "Hey…" he said smiling.

Bunny rubbed her cheek against his palm and smiled.

"So umm…" Darien began then stopped and bowed to her, "Lady Bunny, would you please dance with me?"

Bunny smiled, "Only if you call me Bunny…."

Darien grinned and led her into a waltz, "Okay…Bunny." He said smiling down at her.

Angel sighed as she slowly lower her flute fiddling with the mouth piece. She could tell that Bunny and Endy were falling in love, even if they didn't see it their selves. And she was happy for them, Bunny was one of her best friends, but she wanted someone for herself.

"Kon'wa Princess," A voice said from behind her.

Angel turned to see Elios, she smiled, the priest of the golden crystal was her other best friend. But Angel didn't get to see him that much.

"Ohayo Elios," she said her eyes once again drifting to the couple on the dance floor that seemed to be totally absorbed in eachother.

"They make a beautiful couple," Elios said frowning at the blonde in the princes' arms.

"Yes they do." Angel said on a sigh.

"Who is she?" Elios asked looking at his Princess

Angel looked up at him, "Her name is Bunny. I know not if that is her real name. Endy and the generals rescued her from the middle of a battle, where she 'appeared'. She has know memory of who she is or was. So when she woke up, I named her Bunny."

Elios smiled at the name and looked once again at the couple before taking Angel's hands and leading her out onto the floor before the next song started. Angel laughed and allowed herself to be led, she loved to dance and had learned in Elios's arms when she was a girl.

Mavu, The Cat Planet

*******

Luna, Artemis, Mika, and Lainia stepped out of the portal onto the lush jungle-like planet of Mavu. Mika the Mercurian Queen pushed her long blue green streaked hair over her shoulder and looked around. Luna and Artemis inhaled deeply, savoring the smell of their world. Mavu was a rare and plentiful planet, and the Mavians were sought after by bounty hunters through out the galaxy. Thus the reason that the only onto the planet was through a portal that was kept open just off of the Moon Queens chambers. There was a second portal known only by the Mavians and Callisto the queen of Mars. The Mavians had asked the fire queen to open the second portal so not all of their actions would be monitored by the Moon.

"No place like home," Luna said Artemis nodded agreement and after a couple minutes the foursome started off in the direction of Nariama Castle the seat of the Mavians.

Mika and Lainia followed slowly, Lainia was the second cousin of Princess Mina of Venus. She was also the golden knight, she commanded the sword of Aprodite. Luna opened all of her extra senses she'd kept dormant on the moon and sighed in pleasure, from the euphoric look on Artemis' face he had done the same thing. Lainia and Mika exchanged a look and laughed softly.

Suddenly Luna and Artemis froze blue and cinnamon eyes search the landscape. Lainia and Mika froze also, they were both members of Queen Serenity's inner court and knew to trust the senses of the two Mavians.

"Luna, Wha…?" Lainia started

Luna cut the girl off with a raised hand. Suddenly out of the bushes came a legion of the Mavian Imperial Guard. They didn't look friendly, they were all weilding broad swords. At the front was Princess Alexis Avari, Niece to Luna Avari. Luna frowned at Alexis,

"Alexis, what's the meaning of this?" she asked taking a step forward only to be stopped by a sword.

Alexis turn cool green eyes on her aunt and smiled grimly, "All Mavians were informed that due to the attacks against Earth that no off wordless would be allowed on Mavian soil. You Auntie Luna have disregarded this order."

Luna blinked looking at her relative, deep in Alexis' green eyes Luna could see remorse at this action.

"Alexis we are looking for Princess Serena, she vanished almost a week ago. Queen Serenity is going nuts."

Alexis's eyes flickered at the mention of her best friend. The Princess Serenity and Alexis had been friends since they had been born. She sent a look at the guards and they lowered their swords. "We will let you talk with mother, but until told otherwise we can not let you or your friends leave Mavu, Aunt Luna."

Luna looked at Artemis and nodded, bowing slightly, "As you wish princess." Alexis looked at Artemis, " Greetings to you Lord Solen."

The group slowly made their way to the castle, the five Mavians holding a private conversation, with Lainai and Mika following behind.

Earth, Forest

*********

Tsuyoshi stood in a clearing staring up at the moon: he missed his home. But he knew that his sister was here. Or some other Lunarian that was here and maybe needed his help. He heard Ka'lyra come up behind him and spoke without turning.

"Evening Ka,"

Ka'lyra smiled at the use of her nickname, and also looked up at the moon, "What troubles you my Prince?"

Tsuyoshi smiled sadly, "Aside from the fact that my Sister is missing and Rei was injured?"

Ka'lyra flinched, remembering the battle of three days before: they had been on their way to Lycinia when theives had attacked them. And Princess Rei in the middle of protecting Tsuyoshi had been run through with one of the theives daggers, and was now inside a ramshackle cabin they'd found. Delirious and being looked over by Ami and Zarite.

"It was not your fault she was injured Tsuyoshi," Ka'lyra said reaching a hand out to touch his shoulder, then letting it drop back down.

Tsuyoshi let out a self-mocking laugh, "Sure it wasn't..." he said then swung around when Ka'lyra let out a cry of pain. "Ka!"

Ka'lyra looked down at herself then to her prince, fear written in her stormy green eyes. She was glowing with a orange light then with an almost audible pop, she was gone.

Tsuyoshi stared at the space that Ka'lyra had occupied and turned to fetch the others when a voice in his head stopped him.

Tsuyoshi stood frozen debating weather or not to get the others then shook his head, he turned and went into the cabin sitting at the table.

Ami looked at him from her seat by Rei, "Where's Ka?"

Tsuyoshi ran a hand through his long silver and black hair, "She was summoned to the time gate. I am guessing she should return shortly." Ami frowned then nodded and turned back to Rei when the other girl began to whimper.

Tsuyoshi leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes worrying about, Serena, Rei, Lita who'd gone hunting with Mina, and Ka'lyra. The only people in the cabin right now were Ara, Ami, Zarite and Him. besides Rei that was.

Nowhere and Everywhere

Ka'lyra was dumped into the misty realms of time she clutched her time key squinting through the fog. Slowly her eyes adjusted and she could see six men. Two had their swords pointed at her.

"Drop the key," one said jabbing at her with his sword.

Ka'lyra just glared at them, until she saw her family, all of them. Also being held captive, Setsuna was crumbled a few feet from her his time key broken and laying next to her a pool of blood spreading slowly out around her. Her mother and father were being held by chains connected to the time gate its self and her twin brother Kayan were hanging upside down uncontious the Chronos sword being held at his throat by on of the other men.

"You heard the man," came an hauntinly familuar voice.

Ka'lyra twisted around to see Prince Aalric of Andromida leaning against the time gate. Ka'lyra was sure he hadn't been there before. It was then that she remembered that the royal family of Andromida was also decended from Plutos, just like Chronos'. She glared at him,

"And why should I listen to a traitor?" She asked her green eyes snapping with anger.

Aalric smiled, "Because if you don't I will kill your family." He said and nodded slightly.

Ka'lyra heard a cry from behind her and swung around, to see what they had done to her brother. Before she could see someone snatched the time key from her hands and hit her with it knocking her out. Before the world went black Ka'lyra heard Aaleric say,

"Queen Beryl will thank me for securing the gate."

Four weeks later

Earth

Rosemon Castle

Bunny skipped down the stairs and into the throne room. She paused, seeing the King and Darien speaking in low voices to eachother.

"Sire?" she asked curtsying to both the king and prince.

King Apollo looked up, "Oh Bunny, is all ready with Angels stuff to be moved to the fall castle?"

Bunny nodded, "Yes Sire."

The King nodded, "Very good, please come closer."

Bunny moved up until she was standing next to Darien. She could feel the heat radiating off of his body.

"Bunny you will not be acompanying Us to the fall castle." The king said.

Bunny who interpreted it all wrong almost burst into tears, 'they don't want me anymore.' she though and stared at the King waiting for him to order her out of the castle.

King Apollo smiled, he had a small telepathic abilty thought not as strong as his son and daughters nor that of the Lunarians.

"I am not kicking you out. It's just that there's been another outbreaking in fighting and I would like you to go will Darien and the Generals to the fron line."

Bunny blinked, 'the front line?' she thought, thinking about it silently. She'd helped out a few minor skirmishes witht he dark kingdom but this must be serious if he was sending not only darien and the Generals but her. She realized she hadn't said a word and bowed, "I'd be honored sire." She said

King Apollo smiled, "That's great Bunny. Angel, Aroura and I will see you and Endy at the fall castle ina couple weeks."

Bunny nodded then quickly asked, "When do we leave?"

Darien sighed sadly, "Dawn,"

Bunny nodded and looked at the king, "May I be excused?"

The king nodded and Bunny ran out of the throne room and up the stairs. She'd cut her hair off to mid back after her third week in the castle and taken to wearing male attrie unless requested otherwise or at the dinner table. She mourned the loss of her hair but it was just more practical to have short hair when battling. She'd been with the royal family for a little over a month now.

She rushed into Angels room, panting.

Angel turned looking at her friend,

"Bunny what ever is wrong?" She asked looking worried.

Bunny looked at her best friend and took a breath, "The King has requested that I join the generals and Darien on the front line."
