Webmaster's comments: Though very similar to the MS-06F General Purpose Zaku II, the MS-06J Ground Use had its fair share of difference. External changes from the F type include differently shaped thrusters, slightly different forearms, a lack of leg mounted verniers, and in some cases studs protruding from the shoulder shield. On the inside, the Zaku J type had a more powerful reactor, making it better suited for conditions under the effect of gravity. Armed in an almost identical fashion to the F type, the J type sometimes uses a 175mm cannon refited from a Magella Tank for long range support fire. The 280mm of the J Type seems to be a different model than that of the F, mounting three exhaust vents instead of four and a clip for amunition instead of shotgun style loading. The Zaku II, along with many other ground mobile suits, is water proofed.
