Webmaster's comments: Though incarnated after the C type, the F type Zaku II is probably the most mass produced Zaku and one of the most mass produced mobile suits in general of the One Year War. Though capable of battle in both terrestrial and zero-g environments, the F type was better off in space. On land, its thruster acceleration rate made it unable to make anything but the most rudimentary thruster assited jumps. Still, the Zaku F type is the true poster boy of Mobile Suit warfare. Different models of the MS-06F use diffent cockpit designs, some having a small cockpit door on the lower left of the chest plate, others with the cockpit located in the middle of the chest, accesible only when the entire chest plate lifts open. Though normally armed with either a 120mm machine gun or 280mm Bazooka, the Zaku's firepower could be increased several fold with the addition of leg mounted missile pods. The Zaku also equipped a Heat Hawk, a small, one handed axe with a heated blade capable of holding its own against a beam saber and doing terrible damage to any enemy foe. The 120mm machine gun is perhaps the most effective machinegun used in the war, hosting both a large ammo capacity and a large bullet caliber.
