Webmaster's Notes: When Zimmad company took it upon themselves to redesign the MSM-03 Gogg, it's clear they went back to the drawing board and started from scratch. It's unlikely a single part was used in constructing the Hygog that was used in the Gogg, the Hygog taking on an appearance closer to that of MIP company's MSM-07 Z'gok. Improvments made included moving the mega particle cannons from the stomach to the hands, which made aiming a much simpler matter. The Hygog employed rapid fire mega particle cannons rather than the sustained beam style found in the standard Gogg. Meanwhile, the torpedo tubes were moved higher up the body and doubled in number, making the Hygog even more effective against enemy naval forces than its predecesor. A massive booster backpack was capable of giving the Hygogg significant speed on land, taking it high into the air. Unfortunately, the improvements over the MSM-03 did not come without cost, and where most amphibious mobile suits are heavily armored, the Hygog was somewhat vulnerable to enemy attacks. Fortunately, a massive missile unit mounted on either arm could be used to destroy any threats before they got the chance to open fire. The missile canisters release a single heavy missile each, launched from the Hygog's mega particle cannon. The missiles are so powerful that lower ranking pilots require special permission to cary and use them. The MSM-03C was produced in significant numbers, serving in multiple operations on Earth, though more and more territory continued to fall into the hands of the Federation.
