Webmaster's notes: Not to be confused with the MS-11 Gelgoog, a scrapped project for a simple high performance mobile suit, the MS-14A Gelgoog was Zeon's first mass produced mobile suit to be equipped with a beam rifle. Above and beyond Zakus and GMs, the Gelgoog was an extraordinary mobile suit, unmatched by anything but certain late war mobile suits used in certain actions around Side 6. equipped simply with a beam rifle, large shield, and beam nagita, the Gelgoog was a brilliant machien on all fronts. Thrusters were located under the skirt and leg armor rather than a standard backpack, making the gelgoog less succeptible to fuel explosions. Meanwhile, thrusters mounted in its forearms increased manuverability. The beam rifle, larger in size than the Federation model, is presumably at least equal in power, and the beam nagita was a large handled beam weapon that could be gripped easily with two hands, the blades projecting from either side being variable from thick and curved like a nagita to long and skinny like stanard saber blades. Unfortunately, Gelgoogs could not be produced in large enough numbers to effect the Zeon loss of the war not long after their entry in it. Those Gelgoogs that were rolled out often found themselves in the hands of rookie pilots and being bested in combat by more experienced Federation pilots in inferior GMs.
