Maybe it's intuition
But some things you just don't question
Like in your eyes
I see my future in an instant
And there it goes
I think I've found my best friend

Lucrezia smiled. 'Today's the big day' she thought with affection as she fixed the jasmine in her head. "You look beautiful." Sally complimented from behind. She cocked her head from the dresser and offered a faint grin. "Oh, come on, Sally! Since when didn't I become beautiful?"

Sally just rolled her eyes as she approached her closest friend. "This would take his breath away." She said softly with affection as she helped her with her silk gown. Lucrezia laughed softly, "Would?" Sally smiled. She handed her a bouquet of red and white roses and went, "Enough, Luc. Now why don't we get out there?"

Lucrezia shrugged.

Sally tugged on her arm and opened the door for her. "Now, it's time for some real thing."

I know that it may sound more than a little crazy
But I believe

Zechs waited by the gateway, half-pacing. "Relax, man! She's not gonna call it off." Duo snapped, suddenly feeling dizzy of the round movements the first was doing. Zechs stared at him and then sighed. He settled in one place but eventually started fidgeting. Duo let out an exasperated sigh then waved his hand in resignation. "Zechs, I give up." He muttered then went inside the cathedral.

Of course, Zechs knew she was not gonna run on him. But he just couldn't wait. He wanted her to be there now. He bit his lip as he looked for any sign of her. None. He was so aloof that he didn't notice his sister appear infront of him. "Zechs-niisan!" she called annoyingly, breaking off his observing trance. "Relax, okay?" Duo was there, with her, too. "Yeah. We don't want you blowing off all of a sudden and deciding on an all-out war." He muttered, patting Zechs shoulder.

He felt that as an ice-breaker, not even an insult which it was supposed to be. Relen had to nudge Duo to get him to his senses. "And I suppose you don't want him starting on you, do you?" she smirked at the later who just shrugged and went away.

"Lucrezia!" he exclaimed all of a sudden just as a white limousine pull up at their feet. He rushed to the car as the window went down. Zechs popped his head inside the window to take a first look on his bride. She backed up in surprise and asked him what was going on. "Hello, honey. You look very beautiful today." He greeted as he kissed her lightly on the lips before Sally went on faking a cough. "Uh, hi, Sally." He greeted the woman beside her. "I thought you wouldn't notice." She smirked, giving Lucrezia a slight nudge.
"Oh, Noin!" Duo exclaimed as he shoved the groom aside and took a peek inside. Lucrezia looked at him confusedly. "What's going on?" she asked of the American boy, who went, "Oh, it's just your husband-to-be here. We're all lucky that you came a lot sooner or he would have lost his patience and killed us all." he took a look at Zechs who was glaring at him all the while.
Lucrezia giggled and pinched Duo's cheek. "Ow! Watch it!" he yelped. Relena just shook her head in the background. Sally went down the car and rushed inside the cathedral to check on things. "Let's go, Duo! The wedding ceremony's about to start!" a voice called out. Duo cocked his head and saw Hilde standing there in her cute pink silk dress. Duo jerked a thumbs-up and hurried to her side.

Zechs shook his head then leaned on the window again. He stared into her beautiful dark-blue eyes then kissed her cheek. He presses his index on her lips, whispered, "Be waiting for you." before going inside the cathedral.

I knew I loved you before I met you
I think I dreamed you into life
I knew I loved you before I met you
I have been waiting all my life

The entourage seemed to go on forever. Zechs sighed as he watched the guests walk along the aisle. He just couldn't wait. He would have told the people to sit down in a jiff in his power. But that would ruin everything. He didn't want a bad impression anyway, plus, a bad mood in their wedding day.

Quatre, who was his best man, gave him a nudge and pointed out that only a little more and it would start. Zechs offered a faint grin then went lost in his thoughts again.

Quatre smiled as he looked back. Dorothy was laughing softly with Relena. Dorothy…he had always seemed to take his breath away. Although there are times that she can be pretty annoyingly obnoxious, she was really different. So was Miss Noin.

Zechs ran his finger through his long platinum hair. She was just too much to take. The everything he considered to fill his empty life with. She was the only one who knows him. Who understands him. And she was a dream come true.

There's just no rhyme or reason
Only this sense of completion
And in your eyes
I see the missing pieces
I'm searching for
I think I've found my way home

Lucrezia, she entered their view. Guided by Sally and Lady Une. He felt his breathing falter as he saw her. She was very beautiful, more than the way he saw her in the car. This time, she was actually…glowing…He couldn't quite put together his feeling, but he was sure he wanted her.

She was all white, her hair adorned with a white roses, and a band of little white pearls that goes around her head. Her hair, the same short ebony one he knew with such softness. Her dress, it was very simple, an off-shoulder damask top, and a white silk bottom, but she made it a lot more complicated…Of course, she chose that dress, and he told her not worry about it.

He could still remember, when they first met. It was kinda funny. She bumped onto him then they got into a petty argument, then realized that they were gonna be partners. She looked at him, and they locked eyes together. Zechs mouthed a silent "I love you." and she just smiled and blushed pink, replying, "I know." in the same silent way.

As soon as she reached the altar, Sally leaned close to Zechs and said, "Don't make her cry. Believe me, you don't wanna see her cry." With a wry grin and a pat on the back. Lady Une just smiled and wished luck for the two. "Finally." Zechs sighed as Lucrezia slid her arm around his.

They knelt infront of the bishop and started the ceremony.

Zechs gazed lovingly at his best friend---No. She wasn't his best friend anymore. She was his now. His beloved. She must have noticed, that she looked at him and offered a small smile, before focusing again on the rites.

He did what she had done. But he just couldn't take his eyes off her that she had to nudge him out of it. A lopsided grin formed his lips as he tightened his hold on her hand.

I knew I loved you before I met you
I think I dreamed you into life
I knew I loved you before I met you
I have been waiting all my life

"Do you, Milliard Peacecraft, take Lucrezia Noin as your lawfully wedded wife? In sickness and in health…" the bishop went.

"I do."

She gazed up at him and smiled sweetly. She looked so innocent…Pure and chaste. He looked at her and smiled back.

"Do you, Lucrezia Noin, take Milliard Peacecraft as your lawfully wedded husband? In sickness and in health…"

She closed her eyes and drew a relieved breath. "I do."

Zechs took her hand, feeling its softness and warmth and slid the diamond wedding ring in her finger. And she, in return, slid the other ring in his finger. They looked at each other meaningfully. At last, they're one.

A thousand angels dance around you
I am complete now that I found you

The bishop smiled down at the young couple. Looking at each other lovingly. "You may now, kiss the bride." He motioned for the prince.

Zechs smiled. The part that he has been waiting for…

He pulled her up and close to him as the guests watched closely in return. Brushing his lips against hers, he whispered, "Lucrezia, at last."

She breathed in and echoed bluntly, "At last." Before they engage in a short, yet passionate kiss.

They where all applauding, clapping their hands in sharing their happiness. Duo, who, if weren't in the cathedral, would have gone cheering and shouting for the two. Sally was very busy telling Wufei how much she envied them. The pilot was least interested. Cathrine was busy nudging her not-even-sure-if-he-is-her-brother Trowa who was nodding all the while. Hilde was all bright-eyed, telling Duo how sweet the day has all been. Dorothy was quiet, yet, feeling happy for both. Quatre was looking at Dorothy.

Even Relena…and Lady Une…who were a little envious.

They all gathered by the newly-wed for a picture-taking by the altar. And Mariemaia was the first one to rush infront, holding a bouquet of yellow roses. She gave it to Lucrezia, who gave her a small kiss on the cheek. She sure was bratty enough, but she was really nice within.

Duo nudged Zechs and nagged him to kiss Lucrezia once more. She was blushing all the time, so unlike the Noin they knew. Zechs went, "Uh, okay." then kissed her again, and again…Lady Une lightly tugged on the sleeve of his tux.

"Zechs, save some for the honeymoon, will you?"

He smiled foolishly and rubbed his neck. "Une, let him." Lucrezia giggled as she placed a hand on her friend's shoulder. "Do you always have to tolerate him?" Sally quipped. Zechs turned to Sally and said in retort, "As if you don't tolerate Wufei." Lady Une giggled as Sally's face turned red. "She's blushing!" Duo pointed out, piping in the conversation.

I knew I loved you before I met you
I think I dreamed you into life

They were throwing flower petal and potpourri along the carpeted path as the couple stepped out of the cathedral. Photographers for newspapers and TV stations were flocked outside.

Zechs leaned close to his wife and whispered, "Aren't you gonna throw the bouquet?" Lucrezia looked down at the roses and shrugged. She lifted the bouquet and tossed it absent-mindedly behind her back. The unmarried guests rushed to were it would fall and eventually stepped on each others' foot.

" I got it!! I got it!" Hilde squealed excitedly, jumping up and down as she clutched the bouquet to her chest. Duo was hugging her and jumping up and down, exclaiming, "We're gonna get married next!! Whoo, boy!"

Zechs shook his head and smiled. He opened the door to the limo as it pulled at their feet. She blew a kiss to their friends before going in as Zechs joined her.

As soon as they were inside, she immediately wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her lips to his. He gave in, like he did time and time before, as he pulled her closer, tightly.
