If you hadn't already guessed, I'm a huge
science fiction fan (not all that Dr Who and Blue Mars nerdy stuff, I mean
Evangelion and the Matrix type stuff). The Future is one of my fave
themes to base drawings on 'cos no one can ever say you're wrong.
These three kids are part of a futuristic street gang and they live in the coolest city ever. Well, I reckon they do at any rate. As you can probably tell, in recent times I've given up on colour and work almost exclusively in pencil. This one's no different. I just use a soft tissue to blend and smudge the pacer lines, and I use my thin mechanical eraser to produce white areas. No computer enhacement needed on a pic like this. |
