Season One: Kari is Tai's little sister and the mysterious eigth child that the Digi-Destined were searching for at one point. Kari is a very caring little girl and always puts everyone before herself. She also really looks up to Tai and how he leads the group. Her Digimon partner is Gatomon a cat/rabbit like Digimon that once worked for Myotismon.
Season Two: Kari has toughened up a bit and really takes charge of things. Now, instead of wearing a whistle around her neck she wears a digital camera and is always taking snapshots. She's also drooled on by one of the new Digi-Destined called Davis and it kind of annoys her, but she is always courteous towards him.
