"WHAT?!?" shouted Hikaru, "What project?"

"We have to make up our own world," said Marika, "It's due tomorrow!!!"

"I can't finish it today... But, I have to. This is worth 40% of my mark," said Hikaru.

"That's why you shouldn't sleep during class," said Marika.

"Oh man," said Hikaru.

Marika sighed. "Well, good luck."

At Hikaru's house...

"Man... So, I think the world should be in a computer... with monsters instead of people!!!"

She turned on her computer and went on Paint.

"So," said Hikaru, "The people of this place will be called... I got it! DIGIMON!!! Short for Digital Monsters!!!"

Suddenly her computer glowed.

"What the... AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"

And she got sucked into her computer.

"Where... where am I?"

Hikaru looked around. "Is this... the world I was thinking of?"

Suddenly a flash of light appeared in front of her.

A Digivice floated in front of her.

"Wow, what's this?"

Hikaru grabbed the Digivice. It glowed again and it turned silver.

"Wow," said Hikaru.

Kenji bursted passed the front door, right passed his mother, only saying a few words.

"Hi Kenji, how was your day?" his mother asked.

"Get away!!!!" Kenji shouted as he climbed the stairs and into his room.

Kenji turned on his computer, and logged on to the internet. He lay down on his bed to think.

"Life...so cruel..yet so kind. I'll never get it. And parents! Why are they here? They don't get us. They don't get me!" he thought.

Just then, three long beeps came from his computer.

"Huh? What?" Kenji thought.

A window popped up stating, "Do you wish to access the Digital World?"

"Digital World? Wow! A new program!" Kenji thought to himself.

He clicked yes and the room became dark. All the objects faded away. All that was left was his computer. The computer flashed 0's and 1's all over the screen. Then, the flashing stopped. A neon orange metal device flew out of the computer screens and landed on Kenji's palm.

"What's this?" Kenji looked at the strange device only to be sucked up by some kind of wormhole coming out of his computer screen. After dropping what seemed like millions of miles, he finally hit ground and was knocked out by getting the air knocked out of him by hard, solid rock.

Manda:

Sayu strolled down the street, doing her normal after-school routine - looking for kids to rob. Spotting one of the private-school-pricks (as she dubbed them) she followed the boy a while before she was sure they were alone. Then, she pounced. The boy was unconcious. Taking his wallet, and cellphone because she wanted one of those, she left him there on the side of the street.

"Bloody idiot oughtta watch who's b'hind him. Weakling," She sneered to herself, fingering the cellphone. It'd been a while since she'd stolen something besides money or food, and she was proud - proud to be one of the few orphan/ runaways who lived on the streets of England, proud to be one of the few who actually lived, proud to be HER. She'd worked hard to get where she was.

As Sayu rounded the corner, she spotted a few other homeless kids near the ally where she kept most of her stuff. One sight of her, however, and they went running. Sayu smiled to herself. She'd made sure the kids in her "territory" knew that she was the LAST person they wanted to hang around.

Once she was in her ally, and on her "bed" - an old blanket, and some trashbags - she curled up, ready to take a nap before going to steal some dinner. The cellphone started beeping, however, and would not shut up. Annoyed, Sayu picked it up, ready to smash it on the ground, when something popped out of the screen, and landed in her hand. She only had enough time to see that it was small, plastic, and bronze in color before she disappeared. . .

Jordanog:

Seto tore open his birthday present. "All right! A new cricket paddle! Thanks, Rojer!" he exclaimed. "No problem, kid. Let's go down to the field over on the other side of town." Rojer was like an older brother to Seto. They had met a week after Seto came to live at the orphanage. They hopped on their scooters they made at woodshop and scooted down the faded gray sidewalk, with Seto's Collie, Henovet following swiftly at the rear.

Colombo's not like other Sri Lankan cities, he thought. It's the capital and it's both rich and poor. They passed some of the city kids playing tennis on the school's open tennis court.

The hot sun illuminated Manelo's TV & Pawn. Since 5 years ago he had passed the shop at least once a week and peeked in the window at the many new and used electronic appliances. "When I get rich, I'm going to get a huge TV! The size of a room!" Seto always said. He hopped off his scooter to take a peek. Manelo jumped out through the door. "Yes, sirs. Please come in." Rojer responded "Relax Mr. Manelo, it's just us." "Oh hey boys," said Manelo, "If you have any money, come on in." He was kidding of course. He knew they never had any money, but he was a rather kind man who didn't mind the neighborhood boys looking at the merchandise as there never were any other customers. "Actually Seto," said Rojer, "I knew we'd pass here. I'm going to give you your other gift now. I've just got my bonus from Mr. Ferent and I'm going to get you whatever you want in this store!" Seto had never been more overjoyed. "No, I couldn't. You need the money." Rojer shook his head indicated he had made his choice. Seto gave him a hug. They entered the store.

"Check out my latest gadget" Manelo held out what looked like a cross between a palm pilot and a thick cup coaster. "I'm not sure what it is, yet, but there're probably some games on it. I can't figure out how to work it, though. You can have it for 1000 rupies." (1000 rupies is equal to 10 dollars American) Seto accepted without a blink. He knew how high priced the electronic things in Manelo's store were and he wanted Rojer to spend as little as possible.

As they left the store Seto had a large grin and noticed Rojer looked unusually dissapointed. "What's wrong?" he said. "Well remember that couple from India that said I was perfect?" Seto nodded. "Seto, I'm leaving. I'll be gone forever. They're adopting me." Seto froze in his steps. He looked down to hide his face. Rojer picked up a stick and threw it for Henovet to fetch. "...No..." Seto whispered to himself. Rojer put his hand on his good friend's shoulder "Don't worry...we'll be in contact. I'll come to visit maybe. And they have email so maybe i can communicate with your device there." Seto sighed "I think I need some time alone." Rojer nodded and took his exit to visit a sick friend at the hospital they were passing. Seto just stood there for a minute. He looked at his gadget. "I bet it doesn't even have the email." he said trying to turn it on. After a few minutes it said loading and a bar started loading very slowly. He heard a bark and looked up to see Henovet standing in the street. He turned slightly and saw a car speeding down the road. "Noooo! he said running. He could never have made it on time even if he knew a minute sooner. He blacked out in mid-air. The last image in his head was of Rojer holding the dog with a concerned look.

He opened his eyes to see a colorful image of landscape with his machine lying next to him looking much different.

Jutso:

"This is getting boring" said Juuso and turned the tv off.

"Time to go play with the computer" thinked Juuso and runned to the computer. He playd a little when suddenly the screen turned flashing and a light comed out of the computer.. "What is that!" yelled Juuso and suddenly falled down to the ground. He was unconcious, after some seconds some kind of monster comed out of the computer and grabbed Juuso. He taked Juuso inside the computer.....

Manda:

Kae flew in the door, deposited her backpack on the floor, and with a quick "Hi mom hi dad bye mom bye dad," she shot up to the room she shared with Angelo, the brother closest to her in age. She changed out of her soccer uniform (which was all muddy; it'd rained while she was in school so that when she went to soccer practice, the field was a mess of mud - and she had the habit of sliding to make goals), and into her favorite garb: green t-shirt that said "Tomboy," blue jeans, white sneakers, blue-with-green-stripes bandanna, and her goggles. Then, she darted out of the room and down to the basement, where four of her six brothers were crowded around Marcus' (the oldest one there, with Antonio and Carlos at college) Playstation2. Marcus had just bought a new game, Final Fantasy X, and she wanted to watch him play it - which was what Angelo, Curtis, and Korbalt were doing, as Marcus played. They were crowded around the television, and Kae had trouble getting in to see.

"Hey, guys, move so that Chibi can see." Marcus said, without looking up from the game. "Chibi" was a word Marcus had picked up from a friend of his who had transferred from Japan, and what all her brothers called her. Kae had no idea what the word meant, but didn't exacly care. Obediantly, Angelo, Cutis, and Korbalt shifted so that Kae had a place to sit. Suddenly, the screen changed all to static.

"What the -- ?" Korbalt and Curtis gasped, when the screen glowed white and a dark green thing shot into Kae's hands.

"Digidestined Kaetillani, welcome to the Digital World." And Kae, her brothers gawking in shock, was sucked into the television, the Playstation2 still on.

Mimilove:

It all started one rainy afternoon, when Hannah was walking home from school.

"Urrr, typical flippin' british winter. I like swimming, but this is just rediculous!" Hannah moaned, taking off her baseball cap and pulling her hood up against the rain. Hannah was mentally ranting at the weather for starting a storm just as she had to walk home from school. Lightning flashed across the sky, catching her attention. She looked up. A patch in the sky seemed to be warping, going rainbow colors and twisting like a vortex.

"Huh?" Hannah didn't understand. She wiped some rain water out of her eyes, and the warp disapeared. "That was... wierd." she muttered, before continuing on the way home.

Later that night, the storm was still raging. Thunder, lightning and everything. Hannah found herself being shaken awake. She opened her eyes. It was Robyn, her five year old sister whom she shared a bedroom with.

"Robyn? What's the matter?"

"I had a bad dweam, Hanny, and the storm's scawing me.

Hannah smiled a little. She looked at her digital. 7:00am. "OK, Robyn, you're safe now." she said, hugging her little sister. Lightning flashed outside, and all the electrical items in the room--her digital clock, her raidio, the cd walkman she got for her birthday, even the overhead light--fritzed. Little light thingies on them blinked on and off, sound played, the screen on her clock went crazy.

"Wierd," Hannah muttered, "Prolly just the storm. About time I get up anyway. Go watch cartoons, kiddo." The last remark was adressed to Robyn, who happily scurried off. Hannah switched on her bedroom light, and dressed in her favourite outfit--jeans, t-shirt, jacket, and her trademark baseball cap. She gave her hair a quick brush, and tied it back. And, of course, put in her favourite earings.

All the electronic items fritzed again. And didn't stop fritzing. Hannah noticed that her raidio had started playing.

"What the heck?"

Her raidio started to crackle with electricity, and a bright beam of light shot out of it and into Hannah's hands. The light faded, and sitting in her hands was some sort of electronic device, colored a bright violet. There was a small screen on it, surrounded by sky blue buttons. An electronic voice started to come from her radio's speakers.

"You have been chosen."

"Chosen for what?" Hannah panicked.

"Please ready yourself for transportation." said the voice, and another, bigger beam of light shot out from the radio, hitting Hannah herself.

And Hannah was gone.

Akerwis:

The sun shone brightly on George's Island. Tova lay on a picnic blanket in the sun and ate a sandwich, watching the blades of grass blow in the wind. Her father was off somewhere--probably getting something from the only snackbar on the island, because he hated this sort of thing--and her mother was busy keeping her brothers in line.

The brothers in question, Ezra and Levi, were most certainly not behaving well. Levi, being a true nine year old, wanted to go climb down the rocky shore and take a little swim. While Mom explained why he couldn't go drown himself, Ezra, who was eighteen and knew it well, hooked up his computer and starting gaming. While Mom snatched it away from him, Levi would start to wander off, and the cycle began again.

Tova, of course, had to be ignored during all of this, because Tova was the good child (of course she was, because they had named her to be "good light"--Tova Lucy) and didn't need to be scolded. This was perfectly fine with Tova, though, because she was content to lay in the sun and watch the ants crawl.

"EZRA! Put the computer down right now. Enjoy nature. Or. Else." That would be Mom, yelling at Ezra yet again. Her family yelling was the only thing that spoiled this, Tova decided.

With just her luck, Levi took off at a run towards the beach. Mom tossed the laptop to Tova. "Tovy, don't let Ezra have this back. I need to run."

Well, that's handy, Tova thought. Ezra left. "I'm going to get some real food," he had said, and walked off in the direction Dad had gone.

This left Tova with an interesting dilemma. Be a good girl and watch the ants or check her email, just really quick before any of them got back. Well, she'd been good for long enough.

It took about ten minutes to get the computer on and online. Lucky Ezra with his wireless internet connection, Tova thought. It probably would have taken much less than ten minutes to do this--Ezra had been online in thirty seconds last time he used it--but Tova was not exactly the most technologically adept.

"Ah, finally!" she cried. "Here we go. I'm not so bad at this."

Without paying attention to anything else, she began to one-finger type in her screenname. Of course, when a person doesn't pay attention, they will miss important things. It wasn't until Tova's mail showed up (no new) that she noticed something sitting in her lap. It was pretty, too. White and yellow. Some sort of device.

"What's this? Probably Ezra's. I wonder where it came from, though," she murmurred. She reached to set it on the blanket when she noticed the computer screen. It was glowing...yellow. Before she could think about anything, she was not on George's Island in the Boston Bay. She was falling, like Alice in Wonderland (one of Tova's favourite kid movies), dropping through a void of numbers and colours.

Well, at least it was more interesting than ants.

Vivi Freak:

"Happy Birthday, Miko!!"

Aya clapped her hands excitedly. She had picked her best dress, and spent three hours straightening her blonde hair. She had to be noticed. Harashi Yumiko. The most popular girl in school. Being friends with her, meant going on easy street for the rest of the years at school. Aya sang "Happy Birthday" with her best singing voice. Then she looked down at the cake, bright pink, with brown stripes. Chocolate. She resisted the urge to lick her lips. Then, as she looked down into her spoon on her face, she stared in horror.

"...ACK!"

Her lipstick has smudged. She got up and rushed to the bathroom.

"...Oooooohhhhhhh... Okay! This is no reason to panic..." She dug into her bag and pulled out... TADA!!! Her new electronic make-up cleaner! She had just bought it this morning!

She opened it up, and a small voice appeared. "...Welcome Digidestined, to the Digital World."

Aya blinked in confusion, "...Wha---?!"

But as the scream filled the air, Aya's body wasn't there. It was in a place called... Digital World.

Kyukii2003:

On the day Yuki Itoh disappeared from the Earth, nothing was out of place. People came and went, Flowers bloomed and withered, Life went on. But for Yuki, an adventure of a lifetime was about to begin...

Yuki was in a game shop. "Sen wouldn't like that. Aki wouldn't like that! Why the Heck is it so hard to decide...Hey!" She spoted a Platform display. Deciding to check it out, she went and played the game on display. Sundenly, there was a massive flash of light on the screen, and the Girl Yuki Itoh and her belongings were no longer hanging out in the shop. Or was that platfom display either...

ShaeRovana:

Corazon Roey bit into her apple, savoring the sweet, crispy, taste of fall. Well, actually it was the in of August and Cory was spending her last few days in the quiet freedom of the woods. Not that she didn’t always spend her days frolicking in the beautiful, Irish woods. She was far from home, over ten miles to be exact, and she was starving. Cory glanced at her watch, 3:30. No wonder she was this hungry! All she packed was an apple, for she had expected to head home for lunch. She hadn’t planned to go chasing after a herd of deer for nine miles! Finishing her apple, she put it into a plastic bag in her rucksack and, flicking her fiery hair away from her eyes, climbed down from the tree. She walked a little ways into the woods before stopping at a sheer cliff wall. She grinned up at it, emerald eyes sparkling in the sun, she assessed her capability to ascend.

"Alright, Corazon Roey, let’s get started." She muttered to her self. She set her watch to a stopwatch mode to time herself. It didn’t take her too long, but when Cory reached the top she was exhausted and quite sweaty. She checked her watch, thirteen minutes. Cory frowned as it started to beep loudly at her. She tried to stop the vexing noise without avail. Her Taurus temper flared as she stood up, hopping like a mad creature and shook the watch vigorously. The screen filled will "01s" and something orangey, and hand sized flew out, hitting Cory squarely on the noggin. She sat down, hard. Picking up the small device she gazed at it in wonder. She had never seen anything like it. Suddenly the ground began to shake and she was thrown off the cliff and went spinning into the blackness of another dimension...

Princess of Hope:

Reese strolled into her room after another settling dispute between her sisters again but this time for a stuffed teddy bear. What another bland annoying day with my sisters. Where is Christian when I need him the most? She had to deal with the fact her sister are a little more whiny than before.

"What's this?" she asked herself as he picked up some wierd device from her desk.

A light glowed out of it and sucked Reese into the computer. She wasn't sure it was happening anyway.

"This is wierd!" She said. "This doesn't look like England anymore. If this isn't England than where am I?"

She began walking in the flower area not sure of herself. One things for sure. It looks like I won't be seeing my family and my friends.

BladeMageIK:

"Whew..." MeiMing said wiping her long bangs out of her face.

Her new young friend Shin was waiting for MeiMing outside the inn that morning, anxious to show the brand new walkman he received from his mother, who just came back from the United States. Shin was actually MeiMing's only friend to tell the truth, more like baby sister. All her other friends ditched her cause of MeiMing's job; her job was practically her whole life. Every minute and every second she would be working. So she never had enough time to do anything else but work, except on breaks. Shin was able to play with MeiMing most of the time cause he was the son of MeiMing's boss.

"Oh come on MeiMing! I really wanna show you my new CD player!" Whined Shin.

"Fine, fine. I'm coming!" Laughed MeiMing.

When MeiMing had finally came outside, immediately Shin shoved his CD player into MeiMing's face.

"Here, you test it out first! I was listening to it when I was coming over so...." He said blushing.

"Thanks Shin." MeiMing responded while putting on the headphones.

Then she pushed the on button "...". Nothing happened; only silence could be heard from the CD player. So she pressed on button again, this time something actually came out but it wasn't music...

"MeiMing...Do you want to play a game? Press on again to accept.... Press off to decline..." Whispered the CD player.

MeiMing actually wasn't believing this. "Shin must have put in a custom CD he made; he always was good at those computer stuff...He's just pulling my leg, I'll just play along for now..." She thought.

Once she had pressed the on button, a very bright flash of light blinded her vision and all she could see was darkness...

Cheshire Malice:

David sat at the computer and looked through his e-mails. "Nothing new, only junk. Not suprising nobody wants to talk to me unless it is to say 'Give me your lunch money'." He chuckled to himself "If only I didn't trust too easily". He turned towards the door and turned the handle. As if on cue the computer beeped, indicating that there was an e-mail.

"Probably junk" David mused and turned the handle again. The computer beeped again, louder this time and the handle went from cool to scalding under David's hand. He leapt away and turned to the computer which was beeping erradically, he sat down in the computer chair and placed his hand one the Mouse. The beeping stopped abruptly. The e-mail was from nobody and the subject was nothing apparently. David clicked the e-mail and opened it and the world went dark around him. Colours swirled round the moniter and David's scream was muted as he was sucked into the computer.

David woke up under a tree, surrounded by great blades of grass. He fingered the blue device in his hand and pressed the buttons experimentally. He stood up and surveyed the area, it was not his bedroom, that much was obvious. He looked at the device and then at the tree which flickered under his gaze and divided itself into neat squares for a moment. "Where am I?"

Kim:

The sky outside was dark, and the lights inside the plane, were either dim, or off. Racheal sat in silence, her black cat ears, and tail set at their usual stance. Her deep blue eyes peirced the darkening sky and the bright twinkling stars, reflected in the cat-human's aqua-marine eyes. Her thought was broken, by some of her possesions shifting under her seat, and tapping her knee. She shook her head, and examined her surroundings again. Then she glared at the TV in the plain. Soap-opperas, who watches soap-opperas? she thought to herself, then she got up, and began switching channels on the small TV. "Cartoons," she said. "That's better!" she flipped through the channels, seeing if there were any other cartoons airing. Then she went passed a channel she had not recognized. She backed up, and there it was, it had no label. "What the?" she questioned, glaring at the screen that had a series of non-stop letters and numbers, scrolling quickly down the screen.

The next thing Racheal knew, she was sitting on a bed of turf, that spread all through the forest that surruonded her. She noticed a small cat-like beast, staring down at her, while talking to itself.
