When the world regained its color again, Kimiko found herself standing on a rugged forest path. Kimiko blinked and looked around, surprised. "Hey, wasn't I just in the supermarket before?" The 11-year-old asked herself curiously. She pondered this for a moment, but then shrugged and said happily, "Ah well!" She then skipped along merrily, not seeming to notice that someone was following her.

Kimiko stopped, pouting, in front of a fast-moving river. She swore. "Aw, pickle." She sat down in front of the stream, brow furrowed together, apparently thinking hard. In fact, she was thinking so hard that she didn't seem to notice someone walk up behind her.

Kimiko felt someone tap her on the top of the head with something hard. "OW!" She turned around and then screamed for quite a long time.

Kei woke up in a strange new world. "Where am I?" she asked herself. One minute she was sitting at her computer and the next she was in the middle of a forest. She adjusted her red bandana (she always does this when she's nervous) and looked around for signs of other people. She felt something drop into her lap. It was the device that had come from her computer. It was black with red buttons. On the screen was a bunch of dots of different colors. The black dot was in the middle. "That must represent me," she thought. Just behind the black dot was a gray one. She turned and nearly screamed

Vana woke up next to a lake. "What the... Where am I?" she asked herself. "I must be dreaming. Maybe if I close my eyes, I will be back in my room," No such luck. Just then, she remembered the odd gadget that had fallen from her computer. She opened her hand to see a blue device with purple buttons. She heard someone scream. She looked up and ran in the direction of the sound.

Hunter woke up in the forest all grumpy as usual. He got up and walked for a while until he held up a gold thingy with three different colors. "Ouch!" Hunter yelled. "Ever heard of safe landing." What was he doing here?! He didn't belong here, when he could be in London with his girlfriend and at band practice. He was a bassist and a singer.

Kei stared at the creature before her. It looked like a large lizard, a Komodo Dragon maybe, but it was blood red with black spikes. "What are you?" she asked, hiding her fear and surprise.

"I'm Dragomon, your digimon," the lizard replied.

"My WHAT??!!!!!"

"Your digimon, short for digital monster. I'm your companion in the Digital world." Dragomon answered. Kei sighed. "This is too weird."

Hunter continued to grumble as he continued his way into the forest to see an 11-year-old girl with a happy look. She reminds me of my sister Marjorie and she's only 12. Luckily she's still alive, but James isn't. He took his rubber band off of his ponytail and left it loose for a while.

As Vana followed the scream, she saw a boy about her age. "Hey!" she called. "It's great to see someone else here. I'm Hovana or Vana for short. And by any chance do you know why we're here?"

"We have to go find the other digidestined," Dragomon told Kei. Seeing her confused look, he added, "Digidestined are people who are destined to have a digimon. And save the digital world. Now lets go find the others." The lizard walked off and Kei reluctantly followed. She soon saw two people talking; a boy and a girl. "Great," she thought. "People." She sighed. "Oh well." She walked over to them. "Yo. I'm Kei."

Hunter faced the two girls as though he didn't want to see anybody but his friends and his girlfriend. "My name's Hunter." Hunter told them. "Hunter Vargas. I have no idea what so ever, why we're here." As though he put a silent treatment towards others before. "Where you two from?"

"I'm from DC." Vana replied. She gasped at the sight of a giant lizard. "What the heck is that?" she asked the other girl.

"He's Dragomon, a digimon," Kei replied. "And I'm from New York." She crossed her arms and leaned against a tree. She turned her head and hoped that they would not talk to her.

Before Vana could reply, a bird like creature flew over to her. "There you are. I'm Taiyuumon, your partner in the digital world." She stared at the creature, once again believing that she was dreaming.

Hunter stared at them with a wary look. He doesn't trust people easily due to the fact that he was beaten by his stepfather back in San Francisco, which was the reason he moved to London to be with his birth father and his siblings. He turned to the Amphibian digimon. "Hello, I'm Karumon! I'm your Digimon here."

"What?" Hunter asked. "Lemme get a few things straight. I'm used to people I'm comfortable with. Two, I'm Late for band practice. And three, I don't have time for this."

Jordan woke up near the river as he picked up the former Gameboy and became the weird thing ma jigg. Computer isn't one of his stronger points but at least if he found people that owned the black, baby blue, and gold dots then he has someone to talk to.

Hunter and Karumon left the two girls alone as they decided to find the one with the Crimson dot that was near the river. "If this one is another girl. I'll give that one a hard time." He saw the short, spiky black haired boy with another digimon.

"At least he's a boy." Karumon said as Hunter walked past him.

"Who are you anyway?" Hunter asked as he faced the Spanish boy. "My name's Hunter."

Vana watched the boy and his digimon leave. "Where's he going? Should we follow him?" she asked Kei.

Hunter waited for the boy to respond but he got rammed into the tree by his digimon. "Calm down, hot shot." Karumon said as he pinned Hunter.

"I'm not a calm person." Hunter raged.

"He's a bit of a hothead." Jordan heard Kunemon say.

"Keep it down." Jordan told his digimon. "My name's Jordan Cruz." He looked at Hunter's clothing. "You a skater boy?"

Kimiko screamed continuously. When she finally stopped to take a breath, she found a gloved hand over her mouth.

"Alright, alright," a voice said in her ear. "Before I'm going to let you go and show myself again, you have to calm down."

Kimiko nodded and tried to say "Mokie poke," but it came out as "Mmmeff fofe." Somehow, the person understood her.

"Okay, I'm going to let you go. Now, don't scream, alright?" The gloved hand was removed from her mouth and Kimiko let out an exasperated sigh.

That was when the person who held her walked out in front of her. He had a large purple pointy hat, a purple cape, blonde hair, blue eyes, brown gloves, yellow zip jumpsuit-like-thing, brown boots, and a yellow staff. "Hello. I am Wizardmon."

"Huh. That's a funny name for a person," Kimiko said perkily, turning her head to the side, some of her braids falling in her face. "I'm Amori Kimiko, but you can call me Kimi."

Wizardmon shook his head and thought to himself, "This is going to take a while."

Hunter looked Jordan for a while before telling him. "I skateboard before I quit." Hunter said. "I also had a girlfriend in San Fran but she and I couldn't work out our problems. How do you know Reese?"

Kei looked up from her digivice to stare at the other girl. "Of course we shouldn't follow him. He obviously doesn't want us to. Your other question was just as stupid. He's going to find another person; the one with the crimson dot." She continued to glare at the other girl. Kei didn't like her.

"Sorry," Vana replied. She could tell Kei didn't like her. "I've only been here for barely five minutes and I already have an enemy," she thought. "Great. Just Great."

I really hate that girl Kei or whatever her name was. If Reese was here, she would fight with the hateful girl. Hunter thought about it as he and Jordan left to find the one with the last dot. "Hunter what's up?" Karumon asked him.

Jordan and Kunemon followed Hunter and Karumon as they followed another dot. He could tell that Hunter was more comfortable with him than the girls. "Hunter, I couldn't help but notice a picture of the girl." Jordan spoke. "I knew Reese Carlson, when I was an exchange student in London. I also met James Vargas at the time. I'm sorry about him." Putting the topic of Reese and James aside. "Let find the others."

Hunter then turned to Jordan. "How would you know?" Hunter told him. "You lost someone you loved too." He saw Jordan nod his head. The Spanish boy actually knows how I feel about this and because James is dead. I wish it wasn't him that died. Karumon bit him in the leg. "OUCH!" Hunter yelled at Karumon. "Why'd you do that?"

Wizardmon shook his head. "I'm not a person, I'm a Digimon--or Digital Monster."

"Ya don't look like a monster," Kimiko said, crossing her legs Indian Style. Wizardmon blinked.

"No, that's just the term for us.....Do you know where you are?" When Kimiko shook her head, Wizardmon continued. "You're in the Digital World."

"No I'm not, silly!" Kimiko giggled. "I'm on plain old Earth!"

Wizardmon groaned and slapped his hand over what's visible of his face. Then he walked over to Kimiko, picked up her device, and knelt down, showing her the screen. "You see those dots?"

Kimiko nodded. "Pretty aren't they?"

Wizardmon grimaced, then continued. "See that green one? That's you. See those other dots?" He pointed at the red, black, blue, and gold dots on the screen. "Those are the others. They have Digivices as well, and might have came across their Digimon as well."

"Whee! Friends!" With that, Kimiko jumped up to her feet, took the Digivice, and began skipping down the forest path she had came down before. Wizardmon shook his head, wondering how he got landed with her.

Hunter and Karumon continued to walk along with Jordan and Kunemon as they saw a wizard Digimon. "That's the kind of Digimon, I'd like to have." Hunter said.

"That's Wizardmon." Karumon said as he recalled what happened. "Before you showed up there was this digimon named Antaimon. She was cute as unicorn digimon. A Gazimon flirted with her and I ended fighting with him." Hunter thought about it.

Kimiko kept on skipping happily, not noticing the boy in front of her. Wizardmon, however, noticed. "KIMIKO! STOP!" He shouted, to no avail. Kimiko ran into the kid, and she fell backwards. Blinking, she looked up.

"Hai!" She said perkily. Wizardmon anime-tripped, sweatdropping

Hunter looked at the girl with the green dot. He had a weakness for kids, he just can't stay away from them. He helped her up. "Hey there." Hunter said, managing a smile. "My name's Hunter and this is Karumon." Karumon stared at Wizardmon.

Wizardmon got up and walked over to Kimiko, who was running around in circles around Hunter.

"I'm sorry about her.....She's just a bit too much for me to handle," Wizardmon said as Kimiko jumped on his back and wrapped her arms around his neck. He sweatdropped again.

"Hi! I'm Amori Kimiko, but you can call me Kimi," the perky girl said. She let go of Wizardmon and bent down to pick up her cowboy hat, which had fallen when she ran into Hunter.

Karumon shook his head as though he knew what Wizardmon had to put up with. "Try dealing with a hot head like Hunter." Karumon told him.

Hunter turned to his digimon. "I heard that." Hunter told Karumon. "I'm not a hot head all the time."

"Yeah when Reese or any child are around."

"Maybe that's my weak point."

Vana glanced at her digivice to see a red, green, and gold dot next to each other. "There's two more people," she told Kei. "I'm going over ot meet them." Not caring about what Kei or Hunter had said earlier, she set off in the direction of the others.

Kei watched Vana leave. "Are your going to follow her?" Dragomon asked. Kei stared at her digimon.

"Of course I'm not going to follow her. Why would I want to follow a brat like that?"

"I think you should. You could meet the two other digidestined." Dragomon answered.

"Which is exactly what I want to do; Find more people," Kei mumbled to herself. But she followed the other girl into the forest.

Vana soon reached the other kids. Next to Hunter was a boy and a girl and their digimon. The boy was sorta cute... "Hey, I'm Vana. And this is Taiyuumon."

Hunter stared at Vana again. "What'cha doing here?" Hunter asked defiantly. "Got sick of meany girl. Anyway this is Jordan and Kunemon and the girl is Kimiko Amori along with Wizardmon."

"Smooth move, Vargas!" Karumon said.

Kimiko jumped up and down happily, cheering, "New friends! New friends!"

Wizardmon sweatdropped and said to Karumon, "I guess we'll just have to see how the others handle their DigiDestined." Then he turned to Kimiko and tapped her on the head with his staff, causing her to stop moving. She looked over at him curiously.

"Stop it. Calm down so I can explain everything," Wizardmon said irritably.

Jordan smiled as he to Vana's hand. "Nice to meet you." Jordan said as he lightly kissed her hand.

"That's gonna be hard for you, Wizardmon." Karumon said.

Hunter stared at his digimon before facing Wizardmon. "So why are we here anyway?" Hunter asked as he took another look towards Kimiko.

Wizardmon grabbed Kimiko's shoulders and muttered something, causing her to calmly sit down. Wizardmon sighed, and then stepped back.

"You are in the Digital World," Wizardmon said. "You are here to save it with our help."

"Who's all of you?" Kimiko asked.

"Us Digimon, your partners. All of you are DigiDestined. It was no accident that you ended up here....."

Hunter continued to roll his eyes as Wizardmon continued with his speech. "I think you're crazy." Hunter said. "I'm only 15."

Kimiko somehow broke through Wizardmon's calming spell and yelled out perkily, "SO? I'M ONLY ELEVEN!"

Wizardmon sweatdropped and went to recast the spell.

Vana blushed and turned to see Kei and Dracomon come over to them. "This is Kei. And her digimon, Dracomon," she told Jordan and Kimiko.

"Dragomon," Kei corrected and once again she leaned against a tree and crossed her arms.

"OH Great!" Hunter said. "Who brought her here?" He and Karumon turned their back on Kei and Dragomon. She really bugs me. I think she doesn't deserve to be a part of the team.

After hearing Hunter's remark, Kei replied, "I didn't have a choice, idiot. Whether you like it or not, I'm part of the group. It's not like I want to spend my time with a bunch of losers like you."

"Ok Calm Down!" Jordan said as he kept Hunter and Kei apart. He turned to Hunter. "You two don't like each other do you?"

"I rather be alone than to put up with picks like you." Hunter told Kei as he slaps her in the face. "And besides I'd like you better if you lighten up and be more friendly." He and Karumon left along with Jordan and Kunemon.

Kei watched Hunter and Jordan walk off. "I cannot believe he just did that." She ran off after him, aiming to beat the heck out of him but Dragomon held her back. "Let me go!!!!" she screamed.

"No," the lizard replied. "You need to control your temper. You can't kill other people."

"Vana." Jordan said to her. "I need to talk to him someplace quiet." After heading off to a cave, Jordan and Kunemon turned to Hunter and Karumon.

"What the hell were you thinking, Hunter?" Jordan yelled at him. "What was your problem? Kei didn't mean it like that. And she didn't deserve being slapped by you."

"I wasn't thinking." Hunter told him rudely. "My problem with her is everything she says. You, Kimi and Vana I can get along with, not her. I think she deserved it just as someone I knew and hated."

"No she didn't!" Jordan said. "I did what I could to keep you away from her. I like you to apologize to her."

"For what!?!" Hunter stood defiant. "For slapping her and telling her what I thought of her. Well forget it, she doesn't deserve to be part of the team."

"I bet you, Kei's crying right now." Jordan pointed to her, angry with Hunter. "She really didn't deserve this."

Kimiko cast her eyes down and mumbled something to herself, then got up, and ran after Hunter and Jordan.

"Kimiko!" Wizardmon cried out in surprise, and watched after her. "Should I go after her....?" He wondered aloud to himself. He shook his head and tightened his grip on his staff. "Of course I should! I'm responsible for her....."

A high-pitched scream split through the air. Wizardmon looked up, eyes wide.

"KIMIKO!" With that, the Wizard Digimon ran in the direction the scream came from.

"Kei," Vana asked, "Are you okay? He had no right hitting you."

"I'm Fine," Kei snarled. "I don't need your pity. He'll be the one needing it when I'm through with him." It took all of Dragomon's strength to hold the girl back.

"Kei, you shouldn't hurt him," he told her. "We're a team. We should be friends, not enemies."

"Well, tell that to Hunter. He obviously doesn't know that."

Jordan and Hunter began fighting. Hunter physically pushed him aside. Jordan pulled his fist towards his face.

"Jordan stop." Kunemon told him. "If you continued fighting him, you're just as bad as he is."

"It's what he deserves for hitting girls." Jordan said as he left Hunter all bruised. "I'll tell Kei your regards towards hitting her."

Hunter got up and pulled Jordan back to his face. "You listen to me." Hunter said. "You don't tell me what I can or can't do. I'm a Filipino with a lethal temper. You're not telling her....."

Wham! Jordan dropkicked him onto the floor. "You really need to lighten up." Jordan told Hunter as he was on the floor. "So I'm Spanish and I can at least try to make an effort to accept Kei." He turned to Karumon. "Get him some chill pills and water. He'll need it. I'll let Kei have her chances at Hunter. Because He doesn't deserve to be apart of the team."

Jordan returned to Vana and Kei who looked at him weirdly. "I guess I should let you cream me." Jordan said as he prepared for Kei to kick the living heck out of him. "Go ahead, I deserve it for walking with Hunter but I told him to lighten up. He and I ended up fighting. I'm not a good peacekeeper at all."

Kei stared at Jordan. She stopped struggling. "You got into a fight with him?" she laughed. "I would have paid to see that. But I wish I could have beat him up first."

Vana looked at both of them disapprovingly. "None of you should have fought. The lizard's right. We're a team. We should start acting like one."

Hunter watched Jordan point to him as he continued to talk to Kei. "No one makes a monkey out of a Filipino American." Hunter raged as he walked them. "Jordan, why did you hafta fight me?" He turned to Vana. "We sure don't act like one because I'm the type of person who works alone. And Kei," Hunter turned to Jordan who watched him wary. "I'm sorry I slapped you."

"Why can't we get along?" Karumon asked.

"Well if you hadn't slapped her." Jordan told him. "None of this would happen." He turned to Kei. "Yes I got into a fight with him. He's el loco cabesa (crazy in the head) and he's stubborn too."

"We would get along!" Kunemon told Karumon as she pointed her tail to Hunter. "If he hadn't slapped her in the face."

Kimiko casted her eyes to the ground for a moment, then looked back up. She stood and said in a sing-song voice, "Yay! Everyone's all better now! No more fighting, kay-kay?"

Wizardmon looked at his DigiDestined curiously. One minute she seemed different, not her usual perky self, and the next she was back to normal. What was going on?

Kimiko grinned widely. "Yippiekaykay! Let's start moving!" She took off down a path, running faster than Wizardmon would think a girl her size could. He shook his head.

Suddenly, a shrill scream split through the air. Wizardmon looked up, eyes wide.

"KIMIKO!"

Kei turned to Hunter. "I'm sorry too. I could have been nicer." She smiled sweetly which was rather odd because she rarely smiled. "I'm also sorry that I have to be in a team with you," she mumbled under her breath.

Hunter agreed incoherently. Karumon, Jordan and Kunemon stared at him weirdly. "Jordan, I heard what you called me in Spanish." Hunter turned to him. "I'm not crazy in the head."

"Here we go again." Jordan said as he pulled out a muffin and showed to Vana. "You want to split a muffin with me."

"Sure," Vana replied. "Thanks. Did anyone notice where Kimiko and Wizardmon went?"

"No I haven't seen her or Wizardmon." Jordan told Vana as he split his blueberry muffin to her. He turned to Hunter. "Hunter instead of being a chauvinist towards Kei. Why don't you and Karumon help find Kimiko and Wizardmon."

Another scream split through the air.

"Thunder Blaster!" shouted someone from afar, and the sound of lightning accompanied it.

"What was that?" Hunter asked as he and Karumon headed towards the green dot.

"Thundermon Champion Level."

"Magical Game!"

"DARKSIDE QUAKE!"

A large earthquake shook the ground and another shriek was heard, accompanied by someone shouting, "KIMIKO!"

Vana looked up when she heard the screams. "Jordan, Kei, we have to help her. Come on." She and Taiyuumon ran after Hunter towards Kimiko.

Kei watched Vana leave. "We should follow her you know," Dragomon told her. "We should help."

"Fine," Kei replied and hurried after the other girl.

Hunter and Karumon watched the battle before interfering. "Wizardmon you need help." Karumon asked him.
