Abunimon sweatdropped, but was glad that she was able to have a conversation with her old friends nontheless. It had been quite a while since she'd seen them, and missed their old conversations. She couldn't help but smirk as she remembered one particular conversation that ended up resulting in a pillow fight.
Sandy looked at Yuumon, Palmon and Abunimon. "Someone's gonna have to talk to her," Yuumon said. "Sandy, how about you?"
"Well I don't know," she said finally. "I mean it's none of my business who Sakura loves."
Qusay sweatdropped as he remembered Terriermon basking in the sun too long. He then got up from his plce with Jamie to face his sunburned digimon. "Forget to bring sunsceen?" Qusay inquired, seeing a sunburned Terriermon.
"I look like Lopmon now," Terriermon said.
Abunimon snickered at Terriermon, shaking her head. She glanced over at Sakura, who was sitting in the sand, watching the tide roll in and out, fiddling with her hair. Abunimon shrugged as she turned back to the others.
"I'll talk to her later. In the meantime, we should really enjoy our break while we have it," Abunimon suggested. She turned around and ran over to her partner.
"What'cha laughing at?" Terriermon said. "You never seen a red bunny-like digimon before?" Qusay sweatdropped at Terriermon.
Kaylee grinned and turned to watch her partner racing around in circles. She sighed. It was so peaceful now. But she knew it wouldn't stay that way for long.
"Have a little crush on Qusay?" Sandy asked Sakura. "I've seen it before, Marah had a crush on someone but she never told no one."
"We better enjoy this while it lasts before Keiko and the the dark digidestined punks will show up," Palmon said. "Don't forget what happened to Yukane and your old digidestineds."
Sakura blinked at Sandy's question. "Um... I think so, but I'm not sure..." She looked down. "I mean, I... kind of had a boyfriend back home, but now... I don't know."
"That's called 'infatuation'," Abunimon commented. "You probably weren't really in love with whoever your boyfriend is. If you need help figuring out if you're in love or just infatuated, think about this... Whenever you think of that person, do the sentences start with 'I want' , like 'I want to see him again, I can't wait!' or something like 'Do I look good enough for him?' If so, you're probably infatuated. Infatuation is all about you, and love is all about them."
Sakura scowled. "I know that. And anyways, until I find the guy I'm in love with, I might as well stick with the guys I'm infatuated, right?"
Abunimon blinked at her partners sudden fierceness. "Whatever you say, Saku-chan."
Sandy looked up after hearing Sakura sort of admit that she likes Qusay. Well that's one love triangle I don't want part of, Sandy thought, before Yuumon's eyes narrowed as Terriermon showed her his red spots.
"You forgot your suntan lotion again," Yuumon said. "You look like Lopmon now, Terriermon. No offense but you do."
Palmon looked at Abunimon as Yuumon gave Terriermon her usual critical once-overs again. It's been a while since I saw my digimon friends again, Palmon thought. I just hope Keiko doesn't kill Jamie off like she did with Yukane.
Terriermon sweatdropped. "Hey, Yuumon!" Terriermon said critically. "It's not my fault."
"Get over it," Qusay said.
"Well it isn't my fault you one-horned bunny." Yuumon said. Sandy made her animated fallback.
Abunimon laughed. "One-horned bunny? Yuumon, you're starting to fall back on old jokes, my friend."
Sakura sideglanced at her partner. "How long have you guys known each other?"
"Oh... I've lost count of the years," Abunimon responded in an offhand tone.
"Over 300 years," Palmon said. "That's how long we've known each other." Jamie raised an eyebrow.
"Don't remind me." Yuumon said. "Who was the one who came up with all the ideas to help out the Floramon. Me. Who got you out of the mess you were in when the Chamelemon attacked you, me."
Sandy sweatdropped, while looking at her partner.
Jamie and Palmon made their animated fallback, sweatdropping as Yuumon and Abunimon argued.
"Discuss this later," Qusay said.
Terriermon looked at his partner. "Relax, Say," Terriermon said. "About Abunimon and Yuumon. They do this all the time. They argue."
Abunimon stuck her tongue out jokingly at Yuumon. "I wasn't even around for half those events... But I've got you out of some sticky situations before, too!"
"So you're even?" Sakura asked, tilting her head to the side.
Abunimon shook her head, grinning. "Nope. I still owe Yuumon one."
"Don't ask." Terriermon said. "They're like this every time."
Yuumon rolled her eyes. "Excuse me," Yuumon said. "You do remember the Chamelemon about to attack you. Don't try lying to me, Abunimon. You remember." "Talk about this later," Sandy said. "Chris and those punks are on their way here again." Jamie and Palmon saw Keiko and Seraphmon again. "Ready for round two?" Keiko said. "Seraphmon digivolve to BlackGatomon. BlackGatomon digivolve to LadyDevimon." Jamie looked up at the digivolution vard. "Palmon, Matrix Digivolve to Lillymon." "Nice seeing you again, Chris," Sandy said, sarcastically. "What is it this time? Torturing me?" Chris glared at Sandy. "No!" he said. "My digimon finally digivolved into Gargoylemon and will take out your pathetic digimon." "Let's get one thing straight," Sandy said. "One, Yuumon isn't pathetic and weak. And I'd die before going out with you." "Time to fight weakling," Qusay said, facing Chris. "And where's that other, Safir, at?" "Terrier Tornadoes!" Terriermon said, firing a warning shot at Gargoylemon. "Darkness Wave!" LadyDevimon yelled. "Flower Cannon!" Lillymon shouted. The attacks hit one another and exploded. "Wrong move, boy," Chris said. "Gargoylemon!" "Gorgan's Vision!" Gargoylemon yelled. "Yuumon digivolve to Goatmon! Milky Erode!" Ruddy idiot, Safir said, in his head. "Terriermon digivolve to Gargomon! Gargo Blasters!" "Hold still Terriermon," Qusay said. "We need to get there yet." "We better finish this fight off," Jamie said, facing Lillymon. Qusay and Terriermon saw an angrier Safir with a Devidramon, BlackPatamon's ultimate form. "Terriermon digivolve to Gargomon! Gargo Blasters!" Chris rolled his eyes. "Gargol Claw," Gargoylemon yelled. "Mystic Bell," Goatmon yelled. Kaylee looked around, wondering where Blake was. She heard a scream and spun around. Unisusmon was lying on the ground, slowing dying. Kaylee screamed, racing over to her fallen companion. "Unisusmon! Don't leave me now." A tear trickled down her cheek, followed by an ocean on sorry. "Kay... I'm sorry." The Digimon's eye's widened. "Watch-" She coughed and disappeared. Kaylee never noticed the figure behind her until it was too late. Blake picked up the bloody knife, a small smirk on his face. "One down." Jamie screamed as she saw both Kaylee and Unisusmon dead by Blake. Lillymon remembered that knife anywhere, it was the same knife used by Keiko to kill Yukane. "Jamie just focus on the fight," Lillymon told her. "Flower Wreath!" Sandy was shocked to see Kaylee and Unisusmon fall. NO! She thought. It can’t be true. Chris smirked seeing Kaylee's lifeless body. "Oh yeah," he laughed evilly as Sandy glared at him in rage. "What'sa matter, Sandy. Can't take the fact that your teammate and her Digimon are dead." "You have no respect," Sandy said, angry. "If you want to know I feared my own death since what happened to my brother and my cousin. But there's one thing you can't take away. My heart. I'll fight you until you've had enough, Giradoux." With that Sandy's crest began to appear. "Goatmon digivolve to Swanmon! Down Tornado!" "Gargoyle's Claw," Gargoylemon yelled. "Looks like you ruddy bastards are down one teammate," Safir said, smirking. "Too bad for you people." Qusay glared at him. "Watch it," Qusay yelled. "Don't mess with us," Jamie warned Keiko. "Flower Cannon," Lillymon yelled. Sandy glared at Chris in more rage. She then knocked him into the ground and began punching him. "White Marie," Swanmon yelled. "Gargo Blasters," Gargomon yelled, hitting Gorganmon. "Flower Cannon," Lillymon yelled. Qusay nodded looking around. Seeing Chris, Safir and, Keiko leave Sandy stared into the sky. What is up with those morons? she asked herself as she faced Jamie, Qusay and Sakura along with their Digimon and Swanmon. "We were once a digidestined of five." Sandy said. "But now we're a digidestined of four. We need to stay strong for Kaylee and Unisusmon." Jamie looked around as she realized that she had been cut by Keiko's sai. She then looked around without letting anyone know what happened, she and Palmon died in the battle. Sakura nodded. "Right!" Sandy, Sakura, Qusay and their Digimon decided to check it out. "We better hurry up," Terriermon said. "The screams came from over there." Qusay rolled his eyes at Terriermon.
