Palmon and Jamie looked at Kaylee, Qusay, Sandy and their digimon. "Saku-chan is left." Jamie said. "She is the last one."
"Be patient!" Yuumon said as she and looked on. "Sakura has to pass."
"I know," Sandy said. "But for how long."
Qusay nodded as he saw what was going on. 'Sakura is left to pass.' Qusay said in thought. "Why are we here anyway?" Qusay asked Terriermon.
"Now it is time for your second test."
Two spotlights clicked on, one gold and one white. The golden spotlight shone down upon images of Sakura's new friends, Jamie, Sandy, and Qusay. The white spotlight shone on Tsuka and Brooke.
Brooke stood in all her splendor, knee-length ponytailed golden hair reflecting off light, her bold blue eyes quizzical. Tsuka adjusted her oversized circular glasses, her waist-length curly dark violet hair was down and her dark green eyes glittered with intelligence. They looked exactly as they did when Sakura "disappeared."
"Brooke! Tsuka!" Sakura shouted, waving to them, doubting that she'd be able to run to them if she tried. Oh, she missed them already.
"Saku-chan," Tsuka said, her voice at the edge of whiny-ness. "Come back home with us! We miss you..."
"Yeah! It ain't the same withou' you 'round, Saku," Brooke added, her Osaka accent kicking in.
"Sakura," Jamie said before the mentioned could respond. "We need you here, in the Digital World. We're supposed to save this place, all four of us, together. It's your destiny."
"While Sakura's still taking her test!" Yuumon said. "It's time for us to tell you why you're here.
You're here because we have summoned you here to the digiworld. Over 300 years ago, the digiworld was formed. Then three years ago, the digidestines we once belonged to had perished by the dark digimon belonging to the humans corrupted by hatred, revenge, destruction, despair and loneliness."
"That doesn't explain why we had to undergo our tests. " Sandy said as she faced Kaylee, Jamie and Qusay.
Yuumon thought about it until she saw Sandy, the group and their digimon.
"We wanted to make sure you were the ones who possessed the traits." Yuumon continued. "Heart, Charm, Destiny, Sincerity and Endurance. These Dark digidestined are lead by the digimon empress who posesses the crest of hatred."
Qusay looked at Yuumon before facing the group. "There each one to combat you!" Terriermon continued as he faced Yuumon. "My sister Lopmon lost her life to the one whose digimon was knowned DemiDevimon. The dark digidestined who possesses revenge. If you fail, then the digiworld crumbles."
Qusay keeps quiet as he faced Sandy, Kaylee and Jamie.
Palmon nodded her head. "Before you came along, Jamie." Palmon said as past began to haunt her. "I had a partner who possessed the crest of sincerity. Her name was Tachikawa Yukane. She was really funny, smart, beautiful and sincere. She could tell anyone what she thought and stayed honest. She lost her life to one who wanted her to be lonely."
"Loneliness buns through your heart." Jamie said as she faced Palmon. "I know I'm not what you described about Yukane. But I'll try to stay sincere and be a good friend to you."
Palmon nodded her head at Jamie.
Destiny. The word echoed through Sakura's mind, and she backtracked to her feelings from earlier. She gazed at the images of Tsuka and Brooke longingly. Oh, how she wanted to go home..... But..........
"I'm sorry, Tsuka-chan and Brooke-chan. I can't go home just yet, even though I want to..." Sakura sighed. "I just have this feeling that I'm supposed to do something great in my life. I have for quite a while, but I couldn't make out just what. When I'm with everyone else...." Sakura glanced at the four other DigiDestined. "I just get the feeling of me supposed to be there, I guess. So...... I don't want to go home. Not yet."
Both images flickered out, and the shadow figure appeared once more. "Very good. You have passed the final test. It is now to meet your Digimon."
The figure disappeared, and a golden light clicked on and shone down upon an odd creature. It looked like someone crossbreeded a small fox and a domestic dog and dyed its fur a lovely dark purple color. Around its neck was a golden plate collar. Its eyes were a bright sparkling blue.
"Hi!" the creature said perkily. "My name is Abunimon, and I'm your Digimon in Rookie form!"
Then the background of the forest reappeared, and Qusay, Jamie, Kaylee, and Sandy stood with other odd creatures.
"Hi everyone!" Sakura exclaimed as Abunimon jumped into her arms. "I just passed my test. I guess I'm the last one, ne?"
Qusay looked at Sakura with Abunimon. "It's ok!" Terriermon said. "Yuumon, Palmon and I were warning them about the dark digidestined and the digimon empress. I dunno what Unisusmon have to say first but eventually it's important."
"Terriermon!" Qusay yelled.
Abunimon frowned. "I believe that the Destruction DigiDestined that took out my Haruko."
"Haruko? What was her last name?"
"Yakutashi..."
Haruko Yakutashi... Sakura was sure she heard the name somewhere, she just couldn't put her finger on it. She shook her head and adjusted her goggles.
"So, aren't we supposed to go somewhere or something like that?"
Palmon scowled at the idea of facing the lonely digidestined. Yukane doesn't want me to be alone. Palmon said in thought. Besides Jamie wants to help me out.
"The keeper of loneliness has a digimon which is the opposite of you." Jamie said as Palmon nodded. "I may be perky but I'm also smart too in my own will."
"The Hatred digidestined is also the Digimon empress that attack and killed my digidestined Marina Chamonix." Yuumon said as she faced Sandy. "I'm sure the digimon empress is someone you knew."
"Sooooooooooo. What are we going to do now?" Kaylee asked, more confused than ever.
Qusay thought about it as he faced Terriermon. "My digidestined before you was Amir Aziz." Terriemon said as Qusay faced him.
"I know him." Qusay said. "Amir was a childhood friend of mines. He was interested in Digimon."
"The Revenge digidestined took him away from me." Terriermon continued. Qusay keeps quiet.
Sakura adjusted her goggles again and played with one of her braids. "So, where to?"
"First of all, we have help you find your crests." Yuumon said as she faced Sakura, Sandy, Qusay, Kaylee and Jamie.
"What are the crests?" Sandy asked as she got up.
"Your strongest trait." Yuumon told her.
Sakura blinked. "Our strongest traits?"
Abunimon nodded.
Jamie looked at Palmon as they saw one of the Dark digimon come their way. "Tsuruhime Keiko!" Jamie shuddered as she and Palmon saw the navy dot head their way.
"Now the time to attack." The digimon empress said. "Chris, find the keeper of heart and the group and make sure they don't get out of the forests."
"My pleasure." Chris said. "Sandy, you'll pay for this."
Sandy saw the crimson dot head her way. The digimon empress is someone I knew as Paige Armani. But that doesn't explain the crimson dot.
"Well! Well!" the boy said. "If it isn't Sandy Le Noir! You're not to happy to see me?!"
"Why should I be happy to see you!?!?!" Sandy said, defiantly. "You humiliated Francis, my boyfiend."
Qusay looked around as he saw Sandy yell at the boy. Five! It looks like there's six dark digidestined.
"Well! Well!" The navy haired girl said. "If it isn't Satoh Jamie?"
Jamie faced Keiko as the girl glared at her angrilly.
Qusay faced his dark digidestined with Terriermon. "Well! if it isn't Qusay Hassan." The boy said with Black Patamon.
"Safir Arista" Qusay said angry as Terriermon glared at Black Patamon.
"Don't you dare call Francis weak!" Sandy yelled at Chris.
"Scorpimon digivolve to Gakashmon!" Scorpimon yelled.
"Yuumon digivolve to Goatmon!" Yuumon yelled.
"Well, well, well. Isn't is my dear friend Kaylee."
She spun around and was face-to-face with a dark- haired boy. "Blake Gryfon." She spat.
"So you DO remember me," he replied, eyes shining with malice.
"Unisusmon digivolve to Sagittarimon."
Qusay glared at Safir.
"Terriermon digivolve to Gargomon"
"Black Patamon digivolve to Devimon"
"Seramon digivolve to Black Tailmon"
"Palmon digivolve to Togemon."
"Let's finish this off" Keiko said as Black Tailmon advanced to Togemon.
"Musyamon attack!"
"Ninja blade!"
"Judgement Arrow."
"Gakashmon finish off that goat." Chris yelled. "I want to be back in time to get that worm."
"Gargoyle Claw!" Gakashmon yelled.
"Milky Erode." Goatmon shouted.
"Gargo Blaster." Gargomon shouted.
"Darkness claw." Devimon yelled as Safir advanced to Qusay.
"You're gonna pay for this Qusay Hassan." Safir Snarled as he punched Qusay in the eye.
"Cat's eye Mesmerism." Balck Tailmon yelled.
"Needle spray." Togemon yelled.
Qusay kicked Safir off of him and punched him back. "It's people like you who treads on revenge to those who want to accept you." Qusay snarled as he punched Safir. "It's people like you that Anubis should feed on. People like you should start to accept others for who they are."
"Shadd up!" Safir yelled.
"Gargo blasters." Gargomon yelled.
Kaylee's and Blake's digimon continued fighting while the two tamers hurled insults at each other. "I've had enough of this child's play!" She yelled and promtly slapped him in the face. He stared at her in surprise, having never been hit by a girl before.
"You stupid wench!" He yelled, diving at her.
She stepped to the side and grinned as he fell to the ground. "Come on Sagittarimon!"
He nodded. "Judgement arrow!"
"Keiko, you baka." Jamie yelled as she socked Keiko in the eye. "Togemon, finish it off!"
"Needle spray." Togemon yelled as the attack hit Black Tailmon and she de-digivolved into her rookie form of Seraphmon.
"You haven't seen the last of us." Keiko yelled as she got away with Seraphmon.
Qusay flinched as Safir regained punching him. He threw Safir off of him and socked him back.
"Anubis should've finished you off." Qusay yelled. "I'm sick of this. Gargomon"
"Gargo Blasters." Gargomon yelled. Devimon got hit as he flinched of the rapid attacks by Gargomon.
Blake glared at her as he picked himself up. "Come on, Musyamon," he replied, still glaring at her. He retreated into the tree ignoring Kaylee's call of "Coward!"
Sakura watched with Anubimon at her side as her new friends battled away. She cast her glance around, wishing that there was something she could do to help.
Suddenly Anubimon growled. Sakura spun around, her many braids flying. There stood a girl about her age with black hair cropped short and icy blue eyes. She wore a dark green T-shirt, black jeans, and a black jean jacket. Beside her stood a dark purple giant egg with red eyes and black dinosaur feet with silver claws.
"Hello, Anubimon," the girl said, her voice a low hiss. "I'm surprised you survived."
Anubimon simply glared. The weird egg stepped forward.
"Anubimon, who are these two?" Sakura asked.
"They... Haruko Yakutashi and Akumatamamon. The ones who killed my previous partner..." Anubimon growled. Her usual gentle eyes were fierce, and there was an odd golden energy that flickered around Anubimon, though Sakura was sure she was seeing things.
"Hakekari Sakura," Haruko murmured. "It is time you face the power of Destruction. Akumatamamon, Digivolve now!"
"Akumatamamon, Digivolve to... DarkTyrannomon!"
Sakura took one step back and stared up at the giant red-striped black dinosaur Digimon. "Phwee?!"
The golden hue around Abunimon exploded and cast a golden glow over Sakura.
"You shall not harm my new partner!" Abunimon shouted. "Abunimon, Digivolve to... Abunsimon!"
Chris picked himself up as he glared at Sandy and Goatmon. "Gakashmon, let's go!" Chris yelled. "I destroy you, when I see you again."
"Wuss!" Sandy yelled as Chris and Gakashmon flew off. "Come back and fight."
Goatmon looked at her partner. "They'll be back." Goatmon reassured her. "Anyway, Scorpimon has to pay for what he did to Hawkmon."
Safir pushed himself off of Qusay as Devimon faced his partner. "We better get going while Anubis is still sparing us." Safir said. "I'll see you and that bunny digimon again." Safir left a bruised up Qusay as he forced himself up.
"We should ask Kaylee, Sandy or Jamie to help." Gargomon said.
"I'll be fine." Qusay said.
"I came here from my guitar," Kaylee replied, grinning at how stupid that sounded.
"I was sucked in my cell phone on my way home from the Talent show practice." Jamie said, facing Kaylee. "I have aspirations to be a pop star in Japan."
"I got sucked in by my phone." Qusay said as he faced the girls.
"Circlet Boomerang!"
"Fire Staff!"
There was a loud explosion as the golden energy from Anubsimon's Circlet Staff and the red flame from DarkTyrannomon's Fire Blast collided. Although this didn't stop the two Champion-level Digimon, Sakura ducked and shielded her eyes instinctively. She could hear Haruko laughing at her as she did so. Sakura looked back up, to see DarkTyrannomon pushing against Abunsimon's long, golden staff. Abunsimon had dug her heels into the ground, and her long tail rested on the ground as well for balance. However, it was to no avail; she was being pushed back.
Sakura studied the scene with a slight frown. I wonder...
"Abunsimon, power up the staff and use Circlet Staff!" she shouted suddenly, her chocolate eyes gleaming with intelligence.
"What do you think you're doing?" Haruko narrowed her own icy blue eyes as Abunsimon's staff grew brighter. Then her eyes widened, realizing what the plan was.
"Circlet Staff!"
The golden energy from the staff exploded and covered DarkTyrannomon, who bellowed in pain and released the staff. The Dinosaur Digimon fell to the ground and de-Digivolved back down to its Rookie form. Abunsimon grinned in relief and triumph.
Haruko helped her fallen Digimon partner up. With one final glare at Abunsimon and Sakura, she ordered Akumatamamon and they teleported away.
Abunsimon de-Digivolved back down to Abunimon and ran over to Sakura. "We did it!"
The DigiDestined of Destiny nodded with a wide grin. She turned to her new friends and ran over to them.
Sandy, Kaylee, Jamie, Qusay and their digimons faced Sakura and Abunimon. "Long time, no see, Abunimon!" Yuumon said, facing her digimon friend for the first time. "I never thought you'd get stuck with a human girl."
"Umm Yuumon!" Sandy said. "Her name's Sakura Hakekari, not human girl."
Abunimon chuckled a bit. "You've got a 'human girl' for a partner as well, Yuumon."
Sakura stretched and adjusted her goggles. "So, what're we gonna do next?"
Palmon sweatdropped as she faced Yuumon and Abunimon. The sincerity digimon remembered Yukane and how she got killed from the dark digidestined of Vengeance. Yuki, I miss her so much! Palmon said in thought as she looked at Jamie.
"I'm not going to make the same mistake in letting you die, Jamie." Palmon said. "Yuki died once when I faced Lady Devimon as Lillymon and Keiko killed her."
Jamie nodded as she faced Palmon letting her long blond hair flow around. "You four have girls for your partners." Jamie said. "Yuumon has Sandy, Saku-chan has Abunimon, Kaylee has Unisismon and I have Palmon."
"We find the legendary crests that will help us digivolve into our ultimate form." Palmon told them. "The crest of Charm is hidden in the desert, the crest of Heart lies near the ocean, the crest of Destiny is hidden inside the cave, the crest of Sincerity is hidden on the forest and the crest of Endurance is hidden in the mountains."
"Right now!" Jamie told them. "We're not ready to face off the dark digidestined. I need to find my crest soon as well as the rest of them."
"We need to get going in finding out crests." Yuumon said, facing Sandy and the others. "We're vulnerable to the attacks by the dark digidestined." Sandy nodded her head as she and Yuumon lead the group away.
"Arrgh!" Chris yelled. "It Sandy's fault. She's making my life so miserable with her accusations. I should've killed Francis when I had the chance."
"Calm down, Chris." Scorpimon said as Chris threw a book at him.
"I'm not a calm person!" Chris raged.
Sakura looked at the others' Digimon. "Which Crest is closest?"

Haruko snorted at Chris. "If you don't keep your head about you, those new Light DigiDestined creeps will just drive you into the ground again."
She leaned against the nearest tree and brushed a strand of black hair out of her icy eyes. "C'mon, they'll be going after the nearest Crest next. If we're going to stop them, we'd better get going, ne?"
Sandy nodded her head as she followed her new friends towards the beach. I just hope Chris and that ugly excuse for a digimon follow us. she said in her head.

Chris nodded his head as he, Haruko and their digimon left towards the beach. You're gonna pay for this, Sandy! Chris said. Mark my words, you'll pay. Then I'll return home and kill Francis.
Safir faced Haruko and Chris."Shaddup, ya stupid people!" Safir yelled. "I'm tryin to meditate."
I don't know why I'm stuck with dese weaklings. Safir thought. I hate them and I better than dem anyway. Anubis should be feeding off of dem.
Meanwhile....
Qusay looked near the beach, while following Sandy, Sakura, Jamie and Kaylee with their digimon. "My guess is the beach." Qusay said. "And then the cave."
"Exactly how are we supposed to find them? I for one have no idea even where to look," Kaylee replied.

Blake leaned against a tree, arms crossed over his chest, listening to the others argue. 'Pathetic,' he told himself. 'Nothing is ever going to get done around here with those idiots.'
Anubimon walked alongside her new partner, remembering how it used to be in the good old days. She shook her head. "The good old days"? What am I, an old person?
Sandy looked at her surroundings as she and her friends continued to walk across the ocean. I have a real bad feeling about this. Sandy thought. Chris and Haruko might be setting up a trap with our names on it. I can't think about it right now, gotta find my crest soon. Yuumon looked at her partner, worried but she shrugged it off well.
Keiko walked towards Blake. Even though she lived in America for four years before moving back, she showed great independece for herself little respect towards others. "If they keep this up, the heavenly digidestined will finish us off." Keiko said, flicking aside her navy hair strand off of her face. "If I want to get things done, I do it my way or the highway."
Seraphmon looked at her partner, she could tell that she doesn't like anyone she's met... well except for Blake. It's hard for me to be a Dark digimon Empress if these people keep fighting with one another. Keiko thought. I'm gonna get you, Jamie! Mark my words, I'll get you.
Safir got up and punched Blake in the stomach. Pathetic boy. Safir thought. He should be fed to Anubis as a sacrifice. Weakling, I hate them all.
Qusay and Terriemon faced Sandy and the others. "We should head towards the forest first." Qusay said. "I mean, we're closer there than the desert. And then we should be looking around the beach."
"Nice Idea!" Terriermon said. "I can work on my tan though."
Qusay glared at his digimon for a minute before sweatdropping.
Kaylee rolled her eyes, grinning. "Sounds good to me."

Blake dove at the other boy, pinning him to the ground. He would have murdered him if Musyamon had not dragged him back. "Save your anger for the heavenlies. They are who we need to get."
