David saw Hunter carrying a fainted Reese and rushed over. "What happened?" he asked in a panicky tone. "I shouldn't have left to go to the village, what happened Hunter?" David looked down at Reese. "Right...um...right we need to get some water, I'll just go and get that." He saw Gazimon running with a bucket of water, Gazimon set it beside Reese, he too knew what had caused Reese to faint.
Hunter stared at them before telling them. "Reese remembered too much about what she said," Hunter told them. "I followed her to where she threw up in the trash can."
"Anyway, I was talking to Gazimon and didn't notice Reese gone," Antaimon explained. "Also what she said to you, Hunter, is what is gonna hurt David's chances of getting together with Reese."
David frowned. "W-what is going to hurt my chances of getting together with Reese?" David asked, frowning and stuttering slightly. Gazimon looked sheepish.
"Reese said she was physically attracted to Hunter." Gazimon couldn't bring himself to look at David. David looked shocked and a bit upset.
"Well...I..." David was unsure of what to say, he decided to just not say anything and walked off. Jenny stared after her brother before glaring at Hunter and Gazimon.
"Nice going," she spat and walked off in the opposite direction to David, with Satyrmon following her closely.
Hunter glared at them before facing both Antaimon and Gazimon. "Good going, bunny," Hunter whispered to Gazimon. "Now they know about my talk with Reese."
"Don't call him a bunny or a rabbit," Antaimon warned. "He shocked the last person who called him either one."
"What's the bunny gonna do anyway?" Hunter snided as he pulled a piece of cloth and dunked it in the bucket of water.
"Maybe shock you for calling him that," Antaimon told him.
Reese laid there unconsious and Hunter pulled her head towards his lap to place his wet cloth on her forehead. I know this is a love triangle between us but now Reese is attracted to me and she likes David. This is what worries me is rejection. I mean she and James, like each other and yet he was more patient with anyone than me. Maybe this is what he was teaching me before he died. He thought about it as tears steamed from his eyes towards is cheeks. I didn't cry at James's funeral. And when Reese ran away from the fight Nathan and I had, I've felt guilty for what I done.
A red fireball went towards the dark fire and its explodes. Guilmon and Hakimi walked towards Evil Cory. "I guess I just forgot that Cory also a virus," said Hakimi.
"What are we gonna do?" asked Guilmon.
Hakimi pulled out a card. "Card scan DigiModify! Chikorita's Vine Whip activated!" yelled Hakimi. The two tentacles appeared from Guilmon's neck and flew towards Virus Cory and hit her real hard.
"Gatomon digivolve to Angewomon!"
"Holy Arrow!" yelled Angewomon. The white arrow flew towards Virus Cory and hit it on her head.
"Give it up, Cory. The Holy Digidestined are strong enough. Fight that virus that try to control and take over your body!" yelled Hakimi.
"Kimi, you better get ready with your sword just in case she attacks," said Guilmon. Hakimi nodded.

"Can we join an aliance?"
"No." This voice was cold and was pretrifying to hear. The voice was male. The voice crying for a truce was female, and was smooth and soft, she showed, however, that she was stubborn.
"To get rid of a common enemy?" she was firm now, not yielding a bit.

Yuki had spent a very long time with her Dark counterpart. In the end, they had trained to help with the new threat. Yuki stared at her little brother, Aki, who had gone under the code name Aku to protect his identity. Yuki tracked Aki down thanks to a drawing Yuki had drawn for Aki's fourth birthday. But as they activated their teleport cards, and found themselves in a battlezone, and not a clue what was going on. Yuki looked to the closest Digidestend, who happend to be Hakimi. "What's going on Hakimi?" she asked as he powered up his sword.
"Welcome to battle zone. This battle between Cory that now under control by virus and Hakimi, the great digidestined of Leadership in all time," said Hakimi.
Laili sweatdropped. 'Always trying to impress girls,' thought Laili.
"That's my brother," said Shafiq, sweatdropped.
More electricity crackled round Gazimon's ears. "So Hunter, not only do you have the cheek to try and break Reese and my partner up, but you also have the massive idiocy to call me a BUNNY!!!" A blast of electricity hit Hunter and shocked him.
Satyrmon just walked past with his nose in the air. "You were asking for it jerk-boy," Satyrmon laughed.
Gazimon leaned over Reese looking worried. "Reese I think we need to move, Cory is after us with a virus in her and David is so...well I am not sure what it is, a mixture between fury, worry and sadness that I wouldn't be at all surprised if he got some virus." Gazimon shot a cautious look at David who was ignoring the battle. Gazimon saw Hunter trying to get up and dealed him a sharp kick. "See now why you don't call me a bunny?" Gazimon sneered and helped Reese up.
"You guys go ahead. I'll play my game to Cory," said Hakimi.
Guilmon charged towards Cory. "Guil Head Butt!" yelled Guilmon. The attack hit Cory's chest and she fell away.
"I take it you're on heat, Guilmon," said Hakimi. Guilmon just made a sheepish smiled. Hakimi sweatdropped.
Virus-Cory roared in anger as Hakimi and Guilmon. "You forget that when you atack me, you are hurting the real Cory. If you kill me, you kill her." She smirked and then created the image of her mind. It was dark, with fires sprouting out at random intervauls. In the back corner a bloodied up Cory was being thrown at the wall by unseen force. The image dissappeared as Virus-Cory shot a ball of black fire at Hakimi. "Thank you for volenteering to be the first to die." She sneered.
"Thanks Gazimon," Reese said as Gazimon helped her up. "What happened to him?" She looked at a frazzled Hunter.
"I warned him not to call Gazimon a bunny," Antaimon told her tamer. "He didn't listen."
"I could've him that myself," Reese told Antaimon. "But I fainted again. I..." She saw Virus Cory hit Hakimi with a black Fireball. "Shafiq toss me a death star card. I got the golden light card." She pulled out the golden card. "Card scan digi modify. Golden Light Beams activate. Since we can't attack the virus alone, I'll use the golden light to distract it. Start loading up the Death Star."
"Antaimon digivlove to Unimon," Antaimon yelled as she digivolved into Unimon. Goukamon faced her partner as Virus-Cory turned to Reese, Unimon and the group.
"Frogmon digivolve to Chamelemon," Frogmon shouted as he digivolved into his ultimate form.
Virus-Cory shot two balls of dark fire from her hands, one towards Unimon and one towards Chamelemon. "You are being stupid Reese. You launch the death star, you kill me and Cory." Virus-Cory dodged the beams of light and shot two more balls of dark fire at Hakimi and Reese. "You think you can beat me?" She smirked. "You forget I am much stronger than the weakling virus that attacked him!" She shot a ball of dark fire at David.
David saw the dark fire and didn't dodge, instead he was hurled backwards into a tree. Gazimon was horrified that his partner hadn't defended himself. David got up and glared at Virus-Cory. "Can you actually bring yourself to kill me?" David asked Virus-Cory. Gazimon was terrified now. "If you can, then go ahead, I am not stopping you, do you have enough control to kill me Virus?" David saw Reese out of the corner of his eye. If I do die, at least Reese will still have Hunter. David felt a surge of hate when he thought about Hunter. And if I don't die, it means there is hope for Cory, David thought to himself.
Reese stared at her with rage as Virus-Cory continued to attack. She was lucky to have dodged the attack. "Ok onto plan b," Reese said.
"What is that?" Unimon asked.
"Since we can't attack the virus using the the death star program," Reese explained, "I suggest using the golden light program. It won't hurt Cory a bit, just the virus."
"How do you suggest we get the virus?" Chamelimon asked. "I mean we can't attack her because it will hurt her and the virus."
"Not the holden light program," Reese disagreed. "The way David was freed from the virus was Sayuri's sacrifice along with Makimon."
David didn't feel he could even bring himself to look at Reese so Gazimon spoke for him. "Reese, we don't need to sacrifice somebody, we need to get Cory angry with the virus, we need to make her lash out against it," Gazimon explained. "It is unacceptable for anyone to sacrifice themselves."
David saw a dark shape pass over. "Mjolner Thunder!" A lightning bolt shot from a swooping Parrotmon, David saw a familier face hop off it. "Edward?" David asked his brother "I didn't know you were a digidestined."
Edward grinned (despite the fact that David looked morbid). "Well surprise!" Edward grinned.

Meanwhile the virus that had infected David floated round what seemed like a high-tech city until it came to its goal, the computer core. Wasting no time it attached itself, taking over the computers. My first order - Build an army.
