Aya frowned, "That sucks!" She grabbed Tamagomon, "TAMA-MON!!! THAT AIN'T FAIR!! AT ALL!!!"

"What do I have to do with this?!"

"You got me into this!!"

"WHAT?!"

"Aya! Calm down. It's okay." Tova grinned. "Poor Tama-mon..."

"Ffffffffffffiiiiiiiine," she said, still glaring at him.

Tamagomon was in tears (Worm tears), "...Ahhhhhhhhh...I.... Was..... Dying.... I could see heaven... with all the berries....eww...berries..."

"Sometimes I'm too slow to actually catch up to their conversations" said Eros.

Seto had asked the beastly wolf, Garurumon, for some sort of bag the previous night and looking in the closet, he noticed one had been left for him. He slid his laptop into it went back into the eating area where all the commotion was. "Wait a second...where's Auroramon?"

After eating a plate of mangos, Eros streched out on a fluffy, orange couch by the windows.

"What a lovely view!"

"Oh there you are!" Seto was looking down into some underground passage.

Auroramon shivered, "help..."

Seto laughed and pulled the cat digimon out of what looked like a sewer. "Are you okay?"

"So much water...," Auroramon fell asleep in Seto's arms once again.

Fukimon grabbed a mango, and swallowed it whole. She then turned blue and started coughing, a large, mango-shaped lump in her neck.

"Fukimon!" Hannah panicked, and started hitting her partner on the back of the neck. Fukimon coughed some more and the mango, came back out of her mouth, covered in some kind of slimy stuff.

"Ewww," Hannah screwed up her face, "I'm not eating that one now, nope," She turned to the others, "Let's just have no more talk about why us. I'm sure we'll find that out when we need to."

Tova looked around. It was getting loud in the room, and her forehead was throbbing. Raising her hand, she asked, "Can you all be quieter? I have a headache."

Aya sighed, "...quiet? Fine." She stood quiet. And quiet. And quiet.

"Sorry, Tova," Hannah said, smiling at her friend. She turned to Kae's digi, "And sorry Isamon. We thought we did quiet down."

Tova smiled back. "It's all right. This is just starting to feel like my house in the morning, and that's really not the greatest feeling. All we need now is Levi running around naked while Ezra grunts his way through breakfast conversation." She wrinkled her nose at the thought and giggled.

"Uh...that's not how my family is...We pray before we eat then my Nona brings out a tub of raviolli. Everyone dashes to it, but me. So my Nona makes me plain pasta!"

Isamon, deciding that they were as quiet as they were going to get, started eating breakfast.

The first thing Kae noticed, when she woke up, was that she was alone. Rubbing her eyes sleepily, she looked around. No Isamon, no other Digidestined, no other Digimon. Tying her bandanna back onto her head, and replacing her goggles, she left the room, yawning, acting very much like a sleepy little kid.

"Mornin'." She said sleepily. She was immediately awake, however, when she spotted the food. "FOOD!" She pounced on it, eating ravenously, as Isamon watched, sweatdropping.

Psychemon perked up. "Pasta? WHERE?"

"I dunno if there is any, Psychemon," Tova replied. "Go look."

Aya turned towards Kae, "Hey Kae! Sleep well? We're goin' to this 'Dreamland' right?"

"Kae, eat some more! You need to beef yourself up to boost your immune system!" Eros said piling up her plate with mangos.

"As my Nona always said, have a good immune system to live around the factories of la cita eterna!"

Kae nodded contentedly, finishing up her food rather quickly.

"Uh-huh! We're goin' - right now!" She proclaimed. And with that, she marched out of the room, Isamon by her side, pausing to say good-bye to Garurumon, who was just waking up.

Eros stuffed his bag with mangos!

"Okay then, Kae!" said Aya with a nod, collecting her bag, "Let's complete this thing and get back home!" Tamagomon nodded, "Alright."

Thanks to Eros's thoughtfulness, Kae was eating mangos as she walked.

Aya just followed, partly disgusted by Tamagomon hanging on her back. She still wasn't very used to him.

Takashi walked along with them, stuffing his hands in his pockets staying silent. Sighing as he walked along, he stared at his feet. "What are we going to do next?" He muttered.

Seto stuffed his pack with mini hot sauce packets and his laptop. Auroramon rode along in the open side pocket, sleeping away.

"I think I might enjoy this world, after all. That is, if no one dies..." Seto murmered.

"Hey! Wait!" Hannah and Fukimon ran after the others, carrying food, "Does anyone have a something to carry this stuff in?" Hannah asked, annoyed by her lack of a backpack.

"I have a backpack," said Aya, "But...ehm... my dirty socks have been there for a while." She grunted, "Kinda unconfortable wearing party shoes in bare feet... I wish we could've been warned before! Then I would've brought a couple things for this "quest"..." She sighed, "I swear, this is like a videogame... or a cheap TV show."

Takashi looked up, remembering that he DID have his own backpack. "I do." He said, turning to Hannah. "I have a backpack. It'd be okay to use it."

Aya just grinned. Stupid Takashi. IGNORING THE FACT OF HOW NICE HE WAS BEING!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! She then blinked. Her mind was going crazy... Heh.

"Thanks," said Hannah, to both of them, "I think I'll use Takashi's, though. It might not be the best idea for the food we're gonna be eating to share a backpack with someone's old socks. No offence."

"Are we there yet?" Eros asked.

"No" replied Lucemon.

"How about now?"

"....no"

"Now?"

"NO!"

Aya kept walking, and sighed, "How long is it gonna take?! It looked SO CLOSE!"

Seto tried to stay toward the front of the group so he wouldn't have to walk as fast to keep up. "Can you not be so bumpy, Seto?" complained Auroramon.

"Hey, I'm giving you a free ride so stop complaining. You should just turn into Starrymon and give me a ride," replied Seto.

This shut the digimon up.

"Look! Here we are!" Kae squealed, running up and through the front gates. Immediately the magic of Dreamland took an effect on her. Though normally the magic would work only on children under ten, Kae was so used to being treated as a child that, in her subconcious, that was how she thought of herself. And, to be blunt, she was still very child-like; just a child that wanted to be treated as an adult. But that wish evaporated under the magic spell. Grinning giddily, her eyes sliding out of focus, Kae ran into the pink and blue mists and vanished from sight. Isamon, extremely disturbed by the look of utter bliss he had seen on his Partner's face, turned to the other Digidestined, confused.

Tova and Psychemon brought up the rear of the group. While Psychemon muttered curses in the direction of everyone who took him away from his beloved mangos, Tova looked with interest at her surroundings.

"It's pretty out here," she said happily. "And it's so nice out! I like this place a lot."

"We're glad you approve," replied Psychemon, who flicked out his tongue in annoyance.

"Um..Kae?" Eros called out. The girl vanished within the pink and blue fog and Eros was just confused as hell.

Aya stared at Kae, "Ehm... Kae? Are you... alright?"

She put a hand on her shoulder and shook her lightly.

Takashi strode in, right behind Aya. He watched her try to shake Kae, who seemed to be acting like a kid. Of course, that didn't really bother him. That's what he THOUGHT she was like 24/7 anyway. Looking around, he sighed. "What are we doing here? Is there really a purpose?" He muttered.

Ishimon, who had heard him, shrugged. "There's probably something that . . . Lured us here. . I guess. Something's BOUND to happen." He foresaw.

Takashi just sweatdropped. "Now you just sound pessimistic."

"Really? . . . What does pessimistic mean?"

The male just shook his head. "Never mind. . ."

Tova looked around. "Wooooow!" she cried. "It's so pretty!" She ran after Kae and vanished, feeling for once that everything was, for once, completely all right.

Psychemon stared after her, confused. "What in the world...? She's that childish?" He shrugged and attempted to follow her, grumbling. "If she gets herself into trouble, it'll be my fault, after all..."

Kae was barely aware of Tova joining her, as the two girls came upon Dream Castle. The magic lured them inside, smells of candy and happiness playing upon the air.

Waiting for them inside the castle was a tall humanoid Digimon, with pale blue skin, lavender eyes and hair, pointed elf-ears, and feathery lavender wings unfolding from her back. Her dress was blue-violet, and her skin was patterened lightly with golden stars. And in her hand, a beautiful violet staff with a gem and a blade surrounding it at the top. Now, normally, Starmon - this was her name - was a kindly Digimon, sweet and virtuous. But currently, a black gear had embedded itself in her back.

Seeing the two girls, she smiled, though there was a dark glint in the back of her eyes. Not that either girl saw it - they were too lost in the magic of Dreamland. "Good day, girls," She purred. "Why don't you take a nice nap, before having a little fun?" The gem in her staff glowed, and a bubble encased each girl. The bubble floated upwards, leaving the girl's bodies in the castle - but their souls, sleeping, hovered in the bubbles above Starmon. Starmon smirked, and waved her arms, the gem glowing brighter. The eyes of the bodies flashed, and she now had complete control over them. Her love of children unchanged by the gear, she had them run around the fantasy land, riding on the rides, eating wonderful goodies, and playing their favorite games, while their souls slept on. Soul-Kae tossed and turned every once and a while, but after a few soothing words from Starmon, her restlessness eased, as did any Tova was plagued by.

Meanwhile, Isamon shuddered. Something didn't feel right... And then, he saw Body-Kae. Frowning, as his Partner was acting strangely, he turned to look at the other Digidestined.

"Kae...?" The Digimon asked hopefully, but she paid no heed to him, or the others.

Eros, being very confused, hung around the outer area of the swirly cloud of pink and blue mist.

"What is this stuff? I've never seen such a fog."

"Oh for heaven's sake! It is digital fog!" Lucemon replied.

"But, it is spectacular and shiny!" Eros said. He opened an empty wine bottle from his bag (don't ask) and filled it with the pretty gas.

"When I get back to Rome, I'll be crowned for my scientific discovery!"

Juuso just walked a bit around the dreamland. Juuso is very mature considered to his age.. So he wasn't affected by the magic.

"Hmm.. A nice place." mumbled Juuso and looked around.

"Strange, this doesn't seem all that weird to me," said Seto.

Auroramon nodded, "Nonetheless, we should make sure no one goes into seizure. Onward!"

"Hey, you can't command me. You're still in my backpack, too. Lazy *grumble grumble grumble*," Seto muttered as he continued treading.

"I think I should follow them..just in case..." Eros said. Lucemon stared open eyed with glittery shine at the mist.

"Ooh, pretty colours!" he said.

"Not you too..."

Aya looked around the place, "This place...is...kinda...cool..."

Tamagomon glared at her, "HEY! Don't get like Kae and Tova!"

"B-b-b-b-b-b-b-but..."

"..."

Aya sighed, "Fffffffiiiiiinnnnnneeeeee. KAE~!!!! TOVA~!!!"

Eros caught up to Aya. "Aya! Hey, what is it with this place?"

Aya looked at Eros. "I don't know, Eros," she said plainly, "It's so... weird."

"I see the shadow of a big building, lets see if they are there!" Eros said pointing.

Takashi looked around. Considering how Kae was gone, the little brat leader, he took choice in trying to see if they could keep together. He shuffled ahead, trying to take view if he saw any sign of Kae and Tova. Shaking his head, he turned around. "Eros, Aya!" He yelled out at the first two he caught sight of. "I don't think they're anywhere near by and with all this fog, it's hard to see them. We should really keep together, we wouldn't want to get lost in this place as much as we already have."

Ishimon stared up at Takashi in amazement. He was ACTUALLY showing maturity. . . for once! It was a bit of a surprise, even to him.

"Look Look!!!! Don't you see a silouette of castle?"

Kae's body just happened to pass by them just then. Eyes glassy and blank, giggling like a little kid at a carnival, she started playing one of the games that was very close to where Takashi, Aya, and Eros were. Isamon was trailing along behind, looking totally confused and disoriented. Seeing three Digidestined who were actually acting normal, he called over to them.

"Kae's acting weird! What d'you think is wrong with her?" He whimpered, glancing worriedly at the girl who was paying nothing but the game any mind.

Meanwhile, Soul Kae shifted restlessly. Something didn't seem right... Since Starmon had gone about on other buisness, she wasn't there to stop Soul Kae from waking up. Blinking sleepily as she rubbed her eyes, she suddenly froze. Holding her hands in front of her face, she found herself completely transparent. And stuck in a bubble hovering a few feet off the ground, nonetheless. Terribly confused, she looked around. Spotting Tova in a similair condition, she blinked.

"Tova! Hey, Tova, wake up!"

Takashi blinked then sweatdropped. "Great. . She just HAD to appear, huh? She annoys me even when I TRY to be leader." He shook his head. He grabbed onto Kae. "Have you seen Tova?" He asked but then decided against it. Instead of waiting for an answer, he just grabbed her and headed the way she had come. "Forget it, I doubt you'd even give me a straight answer." He muttered underneath his breath. Stalking away, he forgot that he had left Aya and Eros behind.

Not-Kae blinked. Turning blank eyes up to Takashi, the soulless body cocked its head. All it knew was that this boy was taking her away from the games, but as it had naught but memories to go off of, it likened Takashi to one of Kae's brothers, and Kae liked her brothers. So, she tagged along, giggling like any adorable little sister should as they headed towards the castle. Isamon followed, not liking the fact that Kae was acting unKaeish.

Seto trudged along with his heavy backpack. "That's it." He pushed Auroramon out and though the cat digimon was asleep, he somehow landed on his feet. "Huh? What's going on?"

"We lost the group, Captain Sleep," replied Seto.

"Captain Sleep?" Auroramon saw a female figure in the distance, "Hey, who's that?"

Takashi blinked as he heard Kae giggle. DEFINITELY not like her. "Er. . Kae? Are you . . . OKAY?" He asked with concern. Okay so he DIDN'T like Kae but her acting like this just frightened him.

Not-Kae nodded cheerfully. She didn't hurt, so she must be "okay." Isamon shuddered. Something didn't seem right about her...

Hannah and Fukimon, meanwhile, were going in a completly oposite direction from the others, looking for Tova. They did find her, and Hannah attempted to wake up her friend.

"Tova? Hey, Tova? You in there? Come on, Tova, wake up. This is wierd! Tova! Come on, Tova, you're scaring me now! Tova, why won't you answer me! Wake up!"

Tova's head was slumped, but at the sound of Hannah's voice, she slowly raised her head and opened her eyes. They looked at Hannah, if Tova's eyes could be looking at this point, and blinked.

Psychemon, who had been wandering around in circles for a while, finally caught up with Hannah and a very soulless Tova. Seeing her eyes opening made him jump back. These weren't her normal eyes. These were unfocused and her pupils were huge, making Tova's eyes seem less like eyes and more like black stones with blue rims.

"What's going on, Hannah?" he asked in a nervous, un-Psychemon, manner. "What happened to Tova? Where's everyone else?"

Aya ran up to Takashi, "Takashi! You said--! Hey! That's Kae!" She skipped up to her, "There you are, Kae! Where were you? Why were you acting so weird?"

Eros scurried up to Takashi and Not-Kae along with Aya.

"Why is she giggling so much? Kae? Yoohoo!" Eros said. Kae stared blankly in front of her with glazed eyes.

"Hey, how many fingers am I holding?"

Juuso quickly ran to Not-Kae.

"Err.. Is it normal to giggle so much? I bet she is gonna die from not getting oxygen" joked Juuso.

Juuso looked at Not-Kae. Something was weird about this.

"I don't think so," Eros replied, "She isn't telling me how many fingers I'm holding up."

"I don't know..." Hannah told Psychemon, miserably, "The others went looking for Kae, I think. Tova won't respond to anything I say, I mean, she stared at me, but..." She shivvered, "It was wierd. Tova looked at me, but it was like a total stranger looking from behind Tova's eyes... or like Tova had run away."

Fukimon looked at Tova, worried. Then, for some reason, she lept up, yelling.

"WAKE! UP!" she yelled, at the top of her little, rookie-sized voice, and she, without warning, slapped Tova round the face.

"FUKIMON!" Hannah yelled, angry.

"It was the best I could think of!" protested Fukimon.

Hannah turned back to Psychemon, "Sorry about Fukimon. I swear, I have no idea what goes on in her head. Um-- Psychemon? I think you ought to try waking her up, you're her partner," she paused, "I just had this thought, but it's pretty awful--she might not know who she is. I'd try to use her name as much as possible, and mention things about her family and her life--anything she's told you," Hannah paused again, "Not that I'm an expert, or anything, and I don't want to tell you how to deal with your own partner."

"Oh, shut up for once, Hannah." Fukimon moaned, for apparrently no reason at all.

Seto finally caught up and let his backpack fall to the floor.

"Ouch!" shouted Auroramon.

"Oops! Heh heh. Sorry," Seto smiled and scratched his back (you know the scene).

Seto couldn't see much of a difference in Kae, but thought 'Hmm...maybe she's sick again.'

Psychemon shrugged. "If Fukimon hadn't tried slapping her, I would've bitten her. Not a big deal."

He walked up onto Tova's chest so that his face was milimeters from hers, and took a deep breath. "TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! Tova, are you there? I mean, you're usually spacey, but this is to the extreme."

Psychemon waited a moment for his partner to stir but got no result. "Tova, it's time to wake up. Hannah's worried and Fukimon's freaking out. Time to get up and act normal."

He waited again, and when she did nothing, he muttered something rude under his breath and bit her nose in frustration. To everyone's surprise, Tova's left arm moved slowly to give Psychemon a half-hug. He noticed for the first time that in was covered in light little scars.

"Umm...I think that might have helped. Any more suggestions, Hannah?"

Not-Kae, meanwhile, couldn't make heads nor tails of what the noise coming at her was, so she just continued to smile blankly, and cuddled up to Takashi as a younger sister would her older brother. Isamon just stared at her, not sure what to make of his Partner's strange behavior.

Kae, meanwhile, shivered from her bubble. Blinking, she frowned.

"Odd. I'm not cold... I just had this weird sudden sense of... disgust." Frowning thoughtfully, she wondered why she felt so horrified.

Takashi flinched as Kae cuddled next to him. Instead of being. . . . gentlemanly, as though he ever was, he pushed her away quickly. "What is going on here?" He asked, his eyes burning from both anger AND disgust. He had already pushed her far from him. With enough luck, that would do SOMETHING at least. With all this commotion, he didn't notice anybody that had come.

Aya glared at Kae, then at Takashi, not noticing how disgusted he was, "WHYYYYYYY DID YOU LET KAE HUG YOU?!?!?!? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!?! YOU'RE SO MEEEEEEANNNNNN TO ME!!!! MEAN! MEAN! MEAN!" Aya had obviously lost her mind as well.... in another way. Tamagomon just stood there, sweatdropping.

Takashi didn't get it. First Kae just suddenly cuddles next to him, then Aya starts yelling. Well since Kae hadn't really said anything. He responded back to Aya, his frustration taking over. "WHAT do you want from me?! What is with you?! I don't GET it. I don't get YOU!!! WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!" He screamed.

Ishimon stood there lost. "I didn't know humans were so complicated. . ." He muttered.

Tamagomon looked at Ishimon, "... I wish I had listened to my thoughts from the beginning..."

Aya kept on yelling, "WHAT DO I WANT FROM YOU?!?! YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT I WANT FROM YOU?!?! RESPECT! LIKE YOU GAVE KAAAAAAAAAEEEEEEEE OVER THERE! AFTER ALL I'VE DONE, YOU STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND! I KNEW BOYS WERE STUPID, BUT NOT *THIS* STUPID!"

Ishimon turned to Tamagomon. "What'd yours say??"

Takashi glared at her. "What HAVE you done?! THERE HAS BEEN NOTHING YOU HAVE DONE THAT'S GOOD!!!! ALL YOU'VE BROUGHT TO ME IS CONFUSION AND . . AND. . . ANGER!!!!" He fumed.

"My thoughts just kept saying 'What a waste of time... these humans are so stupid nothing at all will change'! But I kept following her. All she does is mistreat me! I've kinda grown to her a little, but STILL! Haven't got ALL used to it!"

"ALL I WAS TRYING TO DO IS PROVE MY FEELINGS TO YOU!!" Aya kept shouting, "I'M SORRY IF I MADE YOU ANGRY OR CONFUSED, BUT..." She quieted down, "...that was all I meant to do... Sorry..."

Ishimon just sweatdropped at what Tamagomon said. He wasn't really paying attention any more to the argument between Aya and Takashi.

Takashi was taken aback. Okay he hadn't REALLY expected that. "Wh-What?" He stuttered. He wouldn't believe what she just said. After all those darn fights, she had. . . Nope. Not going to believe it. It was NOTHING. Without waiting for her response, he spun around grabbing Kae's arm and walking towards the castle.

"Well, I stand by what I said before though," said Tamagomon slowly, "Takashi, like all humans, is growing stupider by the minute, and same for all the other Digidestined! I think it's a human thing."

Aya just kept glaring at Takashi, then yelled at her Digimon, "TAMA-MON! COME OVER HERE, *NOW*!"

Tamagomon slithered over to Aya, "Yes, master?"

"Come 'on! Let's kick some Digi-butt!"

"Yes, master."

She grabbed Tamagomon, and ran past Takashi and Kae.

Takashi frowned as he saw Aya run ahead of him. Even though he HAD been denying everything, it didn't comfort him to see her running into the castle by herself. "Christ. I have to take care of her too." He muttered. Turning to Ishimon, he nodded. "Let's go!" He yelled, releasing his hold on Kae and following Aya into the castle.

Ishimon sweatdropped as he finally noticed what was going on. "Geez. . . Maybe Tamagomon was right. . ." He followed Takashi into the castle, running RIGHT behind him.

Aya just kept running, not even noticing that Takashi was following her. Tamagomon was just being dragged along behind her, so he noticed. He gave a little wave.

Not-Kae, understanding nothing whatsoever of what was going on, cheerfully followed Takashi and Aya into the castle, and cuddled up to Takashi again. But as they were now in the castle, the actual Kae saw this. And was suddenly very, very, mad.

"WHAT THE HECK?!" She screeched. "THAT'S MY BODY! YOU'D ALL JUST BETTER GET ME OUT OF THIS STUPID BUBBLE! RIGHT NOW!" She pounded her nonexistent fists on the bubble, but it didn't do anything. Isamon stared at the transparent girl in a bubble for a moment, before grinning.

"I knew something was up! That's my Kae!" He proclaimed happily. Not-Kae just blinked, and cocked her head, still cuddling up to Takashi.
