Kaetillani groaned, and opened her eyes. She seemed to be lying in some barren field. Noticing that her fist was clenched on something, she opened it. There in her hand was an odd, dark green device. Blinking, she remembered what had happened. Looking around, she didn't see anything she recognized. Kae was apparently in the middle of a field, and in one direction, if she looked hard enough, she saw forest. A lazy mist sprawled over the field, and Kae sat down to examine the device a little more. Pushing one button, she got a clock. 3:30pm. She wasn't sure what time zone it was for, but she didn't particularly care. Pushing another button, she got a picture of three bars. Confused, she decided to worry about that later. Pushing the third and final button, she got something like a map. On it were three multicolored dots - she seemed to be the dark green one.

"Well, no harm in looking, I guess." The eleven-year-old muttered, before adjusting her goggles and making her way towards the closest dot.

Juuso woke up, in a middle of a little forest, he looked around the forest and saw a odd device lying around.

"This may be useful" thought Juuso and picked the device up, the device suddenly turned on.

"Woah!, what is the meaning of this" asked Juuso from himself.

Then he thought, "Where am I, and why am I here? this is creepy" thought Juuso and traveled around the forest, it was a beautiful place, so silent and beautiful. Juuso sat upon the grass, he was thinking about why was he here?...

Tova ended up rather wet. When she sat up, she noticed that she was soaked from the waist down. This had much to do with the fact that her lower half was submerged in water. She appeared to be lying on the shore of a lake, and a large one at that. The surface of the water was veiled with mist. Tova couldn't see the other shore.

In her hand, there was an object. It looked very new, much unlike most of her things, which were naturally beat-up from having Ezra living within ten miles of her. There were several little buttons on it, so Tova the ever-curious ignored her watery plight and proceeded to push them all. Eventually, after seeing various little screens bleep up, she came to some sort of a map with bright dots on it.

"Well, I think I might be this one," she said thoughtfully aloud, while pointing to a dot that most certainly was NOT her. "And look, there's another dot near me. Maybe if I walk this way"--and she finally stood up, shivering a bit. Why was the air so darn cold???--"I'll find someone else."

Tova proceeded off in the exactly opposite direction she'd want to be going if she were to search for the dot near "her". As luck would have it, though, this would be the way to go if she were to meet someone that was near the blip that actually represented her. Off she went, dripping as she walked.

Hannah opened her eyes.

"Man, do I have a headache." she moaned, "Oh, flip," she said, sitting up and noticing her surroundings, "Where the heck am I?"

She had landed in a nondescript enough place, and it was very misty. There was a lake in one direction, covered in mist, and a forest in the other direction. She moved her hand to push herself onto her feet, and noticed the very device that had come from her radio. It was unmistakably the same device--the exact shade of violet, with sky blue buttons. She picked it up, and noticed that the screen was showing what seemed to be a map, with little dots on it. She picked up the device, and stood up and walked around. Most of the other dots changed position, supposedly to correspond with where she was. But the violet dot in the center stayed the same.

"Well, I guess I'm the one in the middle." she reckoned, and walked off towards the misty lake. It wasn't long before she saw a figure appear through the mist.

"Hello," she tried nervously, "Are you lost too?"

Takashi shook his head as he finally regained consciousness. In one hand held that CD player and in the other. . . That STRANGE device that had appeared from inside the CD player. Slightly groaning, he stood up and took in his surroundings, noticing the nice meadow he had landed in, luckily enough. 'Toto. . . I think we're not in Kansas anymore.' He sweatdropped at his corny joke and shook his head to get rid of the thought. Throwing the CD player into his bookbag, he stared at the orange device, with red buttons on it. 'And I'm supposed to do WHAT? with this thing. . .' Takashi started clicking on one of the buttons, finding a couple of dots on some sort of map. "I'm guessing. . . Locator. . ." He mumbled out loud. Some dots had already started moving, and some hadn't. . . Like that orange dot. Walking around in circles, he FINALLY concluded that he WAS that orange dot. He shrugged it off and just clipped the device onto his pant's pocket. Grabbing his bookbag in one arm, he strode off, not caring WHO he'd find or WHAT he'd find.

Aya Aino slowly opened her blue eyes. They stood there with wonder.

"...W-Where... am I?"

She got up, and dusted off her dress.

"GOD," she gasped, "How could a beauty like myself be in a dirty place like THIS?!"

She looked down, and realized she was STILL in a dress, "...Grrr... stupid birthday party dress. Not at all suitable for the situation."

Kae blinked as more dots appeared. Most of them seemed to be moving around - there was only one that wasn't - and she was very very far from all of them, being in the middle of a field. They all seemed to be heading towards the forest, if they weren't already there, so she decided to go that way herself.

After walking for a while, she came upon a boy. He was taller than she was, and apparently older. Seeing the orange device in his hand, she ran over.

"Hey!" The eleven-year-old called, waving her own device. "You got one of these, too? Who are you, by the way?"

Juuso stood up..

"Duh!, this device will probably help me" thought Juuso and opened the device's menu.

"The menu has changed to Finnish?, cool!" thought Juuso and opened a sub menu named "Kartta" (Means map).

There are two dots near me, I'm probably that little dot there.. ok.. I have nothing to lose, so lets go see the dots" laughed Juuso and started running at the direction of the dots. Finally he came close to two characters, a boy and a girl. The girl had a dark green device and the boy had a orange.

"Hey, are you guys lost like me?" asked Juuso from the stranger's

Kae grinned at the newcomer.

"Well, duh!" She said, rolling her eyes. "What, did it take seeing the white rabbit and the queen of hearts to realize that, Alice?" Shrugging, she addressed them both. "Okay, we're lost and we've all got strange little device-thingies. What say we go meet up with the other kids - that's what those dots represent, I think - and figure out what's going on, neh?" Then, realizing she hadn't introduced herself, she added, "I'm Kae, by the way."

"Oh! and I'm Juuso" said Juuso.

"Yes.. we should find the other kids.. now lets see the map again" mumbled Juuso and checked the map again..

"They are not very far, but not very close too, it's an average distance, "ok now.. let's go Kae and.. errm.. who is that boy?" asked Juuso.

"Juuso, eh?" Kae mumbled, committing the name to memory. She glanced at the other boy. "Dunno. Hasn't introduced himself yet." She quirked an eyebrow at Takashi.

"But one thing to another, we should probably find something to drink and eat" said Juuso and checked the environment, he could see some pineapple's in a tree.

Juuso started to climb up, but he fell down.

"Errmm... I will succeed this time" blushed Juuso and climbed again, he didn't fall this time..

"Here take some!" said Juuso and threw some pineapples to Kae.

"Have you seen any lakes or something like that around?" asked Juuso

Kae snorted amusement when Juuso had fallen, but accepted the pineapple gratefully. Remembering the presence of a third child, she offered him some.

"Wannanry?" She asked through a mouthful of pineapple.

Tova smiled at the other girl as she . "Hi!" she called cheerfully. "I'm Tova. Do you know what these things are?" She held out her device and dropped it. "Oh. Oops." Stooping to pick it up, she noticed that her legs were still covered in goosebumps. "You wouldn't happen to have any extra clothes, would you?"

Hannah smiled at Tova, still slightly nervously, "No, I'm afraid I don't know what these thingumys are," she said, showing Tova her device, "and no, I don't have any extra clothes. Sorry 'bout that."

This happened ALL to quickly for Takashi. First he was alone, which he liked more than before. Not really wanting to talk to them, he just stayed silent. Of course, that was BEFORE these other people tried to talk to HIM. Rolling his eyes, he turned to the younger girl. . Kae, was her name. . . He thinks, anyway. "I'm fine." He muttered. Ignoring her previous questions for his name, he walked over to a tree and stuffed his hands into his pockets. 'Just my luck. . . Landing here with two IRRITATING loud people.' Shaking his head, he sat down and shut his eyes tight.

The bright silver moonlight shone through the thick vegetation of what appeared to be a forest. A very misty forest indeed. Thick mist shone like silver silk in the light. Upon a tree stump, lay Eros. He woke with confusion and little energy.

"Where am I? This isn't Rome? Buon Giorno? Hello?" Eros asked in puzzlement. There wasn't any answer.. yet. He looked around, then noticed atop a large flower, lay the plus sign shaped device. It was peach colored with light green buttons and highlights. He picked it up and began to wander around the forest, till he heard voices coming from the left.

Eros approached the area and hid behind a tree, watching. He saw a girl standing with a boy at the foot of at palm tree, eating. There was a third boy climbing the tree and tossing down fruit.

"Buon Giorno? Hello?" He asked approaching them.

Takashi looked up again. 'Another person?' He groaned slightly, not hiding his discontent. "What IS this place? Some kinda popular meeting place? Only about 10 minutes had passed and ALREADY 3 people are near." Standing up, he shook his head. "In case OTHER people come around, I don't want to really want to introduce myself so here's my name. Takashi Suzaki, okay?" He immediately shut up and brushed back his brown hair. Sighing, he wondered if he was being too mean.

Aya looked over at the group of people gathering.

"Oooh! Crowds..." she giggled, "Maybe there are some hot guys there!" She straightened her dress, and was partly glad for it being so short.

"...Great! Aya Aino will set her mark once again!" She winked to herself and ran to the people.

"...Hey!"

Kaetillani looked around, eyes wide with momentary surprise as the group grew larger. Then, composing herself and adopting her usual arrogant smirk, Kae immediately took charge of the situation.

"Alright, enough!" She spoke loud enough to be heard over any other talking. "This is all nice and well-to-do, but I think we should meet up with the other kids," she indicated the three dots that were not in their group on her device, "and then talk about where we are, how we got here, and what we're 'sposed to do next. My name's Kae, and I'm in charge!" Yeah, they'd just BETTER get that straight. She was here first, she had decided to take charge of the situation, so she was leader.

The fact that she was extremely tiny for eleven and therefore smaller then all of them, younger then most of them, and an arrogant, overconfident, stubborn girl who looked more like a boy had absolutely nothing to do with the matter. Right?

"Um...ok, so where are we?" Eros asked as he looked around at the group. He attached his "device" to the strap of his single strap bag that had the Italian flag sewed on to the top and below it, it said "Italia".

"And what are these things anyway?" he said pointing to the device.

Aya came over to Eros, and looked at the device, "I dunno. Kinda looks like my make-up cleaner." She pulled it out, "Here. Electronic make-up cleaner!!! Actually, it looks exactly... the same~!" She stared at the signal, "Italia? ........I USED TO LIVE THERE!!!"

Takashi's eyebrow raised as he saw this female come up, she seemed to be one of those "girly" types. Hearing the words 'electronic make-up cleaner', he started coughing fiercely. Without caring what they thought, he spoke with a hint of detest in his voice. "I missed the part where THAT was related to these stupid devices."

"Wow! I live in Italia, in Roma to be specific. Sorry for not introducing myself. My name is Eros, Eros Milani of Roma! I like your dress, the shorter they get, the more in style you are, says all my sister's magazines.." Eros said happily. He then stared over at the older boy who made a rude comment.

"And who are you, Signor Know-it-all?"

Takashi rolled his eyes at the male who had commented back at him. Completely ignoring his question, he just sat down and stared at that stupid device that had seemingly RUINED his life. "Darn thing. Why'd you have to bring me here?" He scowled in complete anger. He'd rather be HOME, ignoring his parents. At least that was the normal thing to do.

"Whatever!" commented Eros to the older boy. He then turned around to face Aya again.

"Sorry, signora, some people have little respect for others. Anyways, that dress looks lovely, especially with your hair!"

"I'm Juuso by the way" said Juuso and walked towards the newcomers.. "Hey!, we have some pineapples if you want" said Juuso..

Hey, were they IGNORING her?!

"HEY --- " She was cut off by something large pouncing on her. Kae stared, wide-eyed, at the creature on top of her. It was just about the same height she was, on all-fours. It was vaguely lizard-like; at least, it was covered in milky white scales. It had bright green eyes, and a black diamond-shaped marking that took up most of its forehead. It also had two parallel black stripes running down its back. It had three-clawed forepaws, and its hind paws had two claws in front and one in back. It had a very long tail, the tip of which was black.

"KAE!" It exclaimed ecstatically. It rubbed its head against her face. "You'rehereyou'rehereyou'rehere!" It gave the impression of being completely overjoyed.

"What... the... heck...?" Kae gasped. The lizard-thing blinked.

"Oh, sorry! I'm Isamon, Kae! I'm you're Digimon partner!" This thing had WAY too much energy.

"Digimon? Partner?"

"Digimon, short for Digital monster! And, yes, you're my Digidestined, and therefore my Partner!" The Digimon grinned.

"Um... get off?" Kae asked, trying to push the thing off of her.

"Oh, sorry sorry sorry!" Isamon moved so that Kae could stand up. She was exactly the same height as the Digimon; but then again, it was on all-fours.

"So... what's a Digidestined?"

"You are, silly!" Isamon proclaimed.

"... Does anyone else get what this thing's talking about?" Kae asked, turning to look at the others.

Takashi looked over at Kae. "Apparently he said that you are a Digidestined, beats ME what that is, and he's a Digimon." He strode over to the Digimon. "And since you're here, mind telling us what THESE things are?" He asked it, holding forward his own orange device.

Aya grinned at Eros' remark, "Why, thank you. And it's alright I'm used to it..."

As soon the Digimon appeared she backed away.

"MEEP! A-A-a-a-a-a-a... DIGI-THINGY?! WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!" She stared at Kae for a moment, "...But... it's... so.... CUTE! I wonder if I have one?"

"...Lizards? Um..I've seen big ones in my Nona's village, but that one is HUGE!" Eros commented. He rubbed his eyes again, checking to see if it was just an illusion. No, it was real.

"So, I guess that thing will follow us around now...and yes, what are these strange machines?"

Isamon grinned at the other children.

"Yah, those things are your digivices! They let you know where the other kids are, and if the Digidestined has one, the Digimon digivolves! Cool, neh? Also, those things translate everything you're saying and everything said to you, so in case the other kids are speaking a different language, the digivice will translate it so that you're hearing your own language!" He beamed. "And I'm not going to follow all of you around, just Kae." He made a purr-like sound and nuzzled Kae's shoulder. The girl backed away from it.

"Uh... No, that's okay, I don't need a freaky lizard-thingy following me around if you're gonna keep being all cuddly..." She muttered, eyeing the Digimon uncertainly. Isamon grinned impudently, and winked.

"So basically that is why I hear everyone speaking Italian? I wonder what the rest of you are hearing..." Eros said in amazement. He ran his fingers through his dark brown hair and looked down at his digivice, which showed many dots on the screen.

Takashi was slightly amazed at this. These crappy things were able to TRANSLATE everything?? "Well, that kinda makes sense. After all, we don't all look American." He stated out loud.

"Yes, you are correct! I'm Italian and I'm proud!" Eros said with pride, "I assume you are American, saying that everyone else doesn't look American?"

Takashi looked at Eros. Sighing slightly, he answered, for once. "Since I'll PROBABLY have to answer these questions later, Yes I AM American, not fully though. My dad is Asian while my mom is the american born."

Kae blinked. Then, she smirked.

"Well, since I'm in charge, I say we go meet up with the other kids. NOW." With that, she looked at her digivice, got the idea of where the two closest dots were, and headed that way. Isamon walked beside her contentedly, though the girl took no notice of him. Kae paused, and turned to cock an eyebrow at the others. "Well? C'mon!"

"I'm on my way," Eros said, turning away from the rude Takashi. He walked quicker and stood beside Kae, him too looking at the map on the digivice.

Takashi scoffed. "I don't really see myself following a little KID like you." He crossed his arms and rolled his eyes. "I'd rather like to stay where I am."

"Heh.. and I hear everyone speaking Finnish.." laughed Juuso and listened to Takashi's comment.

"Hey! she's the leader, she may be small and everything but she is the leader!" shouted Juuso and ate rest of his pineapple, it was delicious.

Aya blinked, "I speak Italian, English and Japanese... And.... hmm... I think what I hear is English? I don't know... My Mother was Japanese, while my father Italian... and we lived in Canada. People say I don't look even slightly related to the Japanese... Hmmm..." She looked at Takashi, with a slightly amused expression on her face.

Takashi heard two people speaking to him. Somehow, he heard both of them clearly. First though, he replied to Juuso, "I only have ONE question. WHEN did she become leader? I don't remember to agreeing to a loud little brat becoming a leader." He then turned to Aya. "Yeah a question for you too. . . Just HOW do you hear all three at the same time and actually UNDERSTAND?? And yeah, you don't look too Japanese." He stated.

Aya's amused grin widened as he asked her, "Three languages and understand? Why, it's quite simple actually." She turned towards him and added matter-of-factly, "I learned them all in an early age."

She thought, "I hear English from all of you though... And it seems like not everyone here is speaking English...?"

Takashi stared at the girl with a rather hard face. So she had a point, like he cared. It was really that GRIN that was irritating him. How could ANYONE grin and be so CHEERFUL in this darn world? Trying not to ask that vocally, he changed the subject on her. He brushed back his hair. "Whatever. . . Right now we should be focusing on this stupid topic on our 'leader'." He said.

"Leader?" thought Aya aloud, "Why do we need a leader?"

She brushed back her own hair, and a sparkle appeared in her blue eyes.

"...We don't even know WHAT is going on, and really, we know nothing about each other," she said plainly, "Before a president gets voted for, he candidates, and talks about what he would do as leader. We should do the same, or we may choose irresponsibly." She looked again at Takashi, "What would you do if you were leader then?"

Takashi shook his head. "I would NEVER want to be leader in the first place. I don't even trust any of you. Why would I want to either LEAD you or be LED by you?" This girl was irritating him to no end.

"Bleh.. I least want to be the leader, I'm not that sort of guy.." said Juuso with a little grin on his face.

"Never leader?" asked Aya, "That is too bad... I guess. And really, we only know each other for a small while, of course you don't trust us. You will soon grow to, don't worry!"

Heh, she loved irritating this guy.

Takashi stared at her in complete annoyance. "The chances of that are ZIP." He suddenly spun around and immediately jumped up into one of the trees, getting as FAR away from that female as much as he could, just so he wouldn't argue with her anymore. 'Jesus Christ. Nobody speaks like that to me. No WONDER she pisses me off!' He thought to himself, listening in, in case something important would be decided.

"Oh," said Aya sweetly, trying not to laugh, "He must be a little shy." She grinned in victory, 'Ha! No one calls me girly without getting away from it.'

"So?" asked Aya to the others, "Anyone volunteering?"

Eros stared at the "happy couple" and an idea came to him.

"Now wouldn't they make a cute match?" he thought. He unbuckled his bag and took out a notepad with an Italian flag cover (he's PROUD, remember?). Eros begun jotting down notes on what he is observing between them.

"Just call me Eros, the Greek love god! Er...what a coincidence! That's my name too!" Eros thought in his mind.

Kae smiled to herself. Well, supporters were nice. So was the fact that no one else wanted to be leader.

"I obviously want to be leader." She said, smirking in a self-satisfied way. She had the monster, she was the first one here, so she obviously deserved to be leader. Isamon hid his amusement at his Partner's antics, and supported her instead.

"You'll be a very good leader, I'm sure." He assured her, causing Kae's pride to swell slightly more - and her arrogance, as well. It was clearly written on her face: 'See? Even the lizard-thingy thinks I'll be a good leader!'

"Well, frankly I don't mind who leads. I just want to get out of here!" Eros said out loud.

Aya glanced at Eros and smiled, "Couple? Us? Oh, how could THAT happen?"

Takashi nearly FELL off his spot on the tree, after hearing that comment. Instead he just unclipped the digivice and stared at the map, looking at the other dots in the distance. He stared at the purple and the pale yellow dot. Jumping down, he strode off in that direction, not bothering to tell the others where he was heading.

Aya glanced over in Takashi's direction and smiled. She casually strode off in that direction, staring at her "Make-up Cleaner" as it beeped her towards the orange light.

Kae may not have noticed Takashi walking away, but Isamon did. Amused and irritated at the same time, the Digimon strode over and calmly sat himself in front of Takashi, wrapping his tail around the boy's leg.

"You know, the Digidestined are supposed to be a team of children who work together." Isamon said blandly. He then grinned at Takashi. "Once you meet those other two 'Destined, wait with them until the rest of us catch up, okay?" With that, he released Takashi's leg and moved out of his path.

Takashi was kinda surprised at the digimon, stopping like this and telling him what to do. Shaking his head, 'Might as WELL wait. It really doesn't matter, now does it?' He sighed as he continued walking, seeing a slightly foggy area in the distance. "I guess that's where they are." He stared back at the digivice, noticing a silver dot following behind his orange. 'Someone's following me. . Bet it's that irritating girl. . .' He huffed and just walked faster so he could just have a DIFFERENT group of company.

"Tee-hee," said Aya to herself. "No man can escape from me!" *insert maniacal evil laughter here* She kept following the orange dot.

Tova waited for the other girl to reply to her. She hadn't even mentioned her name yet...

And she didn't get a chance to. Almost out of nowhere, some odd creature ran up to Tova, a big dinosaur-looking thing. How curious!

"Hello!" Tova said. The water must have affected her brain somehow, because on a normal day, a big reptilian animal with a horn on its head would make her back away very slowly and try not to get its attention. "Look at that!" she said to the other girl. "What a weird animal."

"I'm not an animal," it replied haughtily. "I am a Digimon. My name is Psychemon. It's nice to finally meet you, Tova."

"Err...Nice to meet you, too, Psychemon," Tova replied. "How do you know that my name is Tova?"

It smiled then. "I know EVERYTHING about you! Tova Lucy Gold, sixteen years old, five foot four inches tall, weighs--"

"Okay," Tova replied very quickly. "Let's move on. Why do you know everything about me--err...what was your name?"

"Psychemon. And I belong to you. That's why. Haven't you ever heard of a Digimon before?" It sounded rather condescending.

"Weee-eell...No. But you seem like a nice...err, Digimon, Psychemon. You can hang around with me and...what's your name? You never told me," Tova said, addressing the other girl.

"I already told you, didn't I? I'm Hannah, or Hanny, whatever you prefer," Hannah said. She looked at Psychemon, curiously, "Hey, do I get one of those?"

"You told me? Really?" She laughed. "Well, I'm not paying attention well!"

Psychemon spoke up then. "You've got someone coming, Hanny. Don't worry. Something cute, I think," he said, grinning broadly. "But of course you'll have someone. You're a Digidestined, just like Tova."

"Digidestined? Now I am really confused," Tova said.

"You're a Digidestined. It's really simple. You're destined to have a Digimon. You've been chosen to come here, because you're special. Both of you are."

"Err...okay."

Takashi kept walking towards his target. Luckily for him, he was almost there. Unluckily for him, someone was still following him. He sighed as he kept his hands stuffed inside his pockets, keeping his digivice attached to them at the same time. He rather liked the quiet area he had found himself in. At least it was much better compared to the last place he got stuck in.

"Takashi! Takashi!" A voice yelled out from near him.

He spun around trying to find out what was calling him. What he found, he really didn't expect. A rather shaggy looking dog on all fours with whitish-blue fur and two white horns near the ears approached him. Takashi rubbed his eyes, trying to make himself believe that THAT wasn't real.

"Hi! My name is Ishimon. And I'm going to be your digimon." The digimon introduced himself.

Trying NOT to just smack himself senseless, he turned around to the direction he was headed and shrugged. "Whatever pleases your little mind, I suppose." He said to the digimon.

Ishimon smiled inwardly. "It's nice to meet you too, Takashi." He walked next to the tall male and watched as they approached two figures in the distance.

Takashi yelled out, "Hey! Are you two digidestined??"

Aya smiled to herself, as the orange dot got closer to her own silver one. Soon, she could see Takashi's body in the distance.

"There he is..."

But then she saw another figure next to him... It looked... unhuman. She started running towards the two figures and soon, she recognized Takashi's face... and next to him...

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
