Christo shot out from the pipe, bounced off the trampoline and landed breathlessly on the couch, narrowly missing Isthian and Tsafmon. Labramon promptly followed.

Christo lay there for a while, staring somewhat dizzily at the ceiling. "Whoa..." she panted, "Some ride."

She sat up, and looked around. The room was large and filled with beanbags, overstuffed couches, and plush toys. Several other toys were scattered around, including some brightly colored objects that seemed to serve no purpose whatsoever. The whole looked like a hyperactive three year old's playroom.

Kamika blinked as she first felt Thian take her hand then have that switched to Chris'. Smiling ever so brightly, she squeezed his hand slightly to let him know she appreciated him doing that. Having a bit more courage, she continued to walk on wondering how LONG this place would go on... If it even ended. Wait. It DID end right? It was going to go on forever... RIGHT?

Of course as soon as she thought that, they, rather, Isthian and then Chris and then.. Well you get the idea, fell into the hole. She, considering she had been attached to Chris' hand a while ago, fell in as well. Blinking as she looked around, Kamika rose an eyebrow, "Interesting.. Who'd've thought this'd all be in a cave?"

Now, Puttimon, that loveable digimon, had been following ever so silently. Poor dear, almost was completely forgotten UNTIL they reached the room. It almost was paradise for her and upon that.... "WHEEEEE!" she squealed as she started jumping up and down on another trampoline to the side. Kamika blinked and then sweatdropped upon seeing her digimon, "Right... We're not STAYING here, are we?" she asked curiously.

"Well, I guess we gotta go find what's-her-face or whatever at some point, but I don't see why we can't kick back for a while!" Thian ran over to a very cluttered table and started pawing eagerly through Gameboy games. "Heyyy, cool! Anybody up for a match??" He waved one of a pair of connected Gameboys invitingly at the other Digidestined.

"It's all very nice in here," said Christo, lounging on a couch, "but shouldn't we be moving on?"

Something caught her eye. She picked up a large, foil wrapped egg. "OOH! Chocolate!" she squealed, pulling back some of the foil.

Kyrainia had been hesitantly following the group. She didn't really want to. Frankly, she could've cared less about Sayu and even less about the rest of the bloody group.

Mushroomon walked besides her, clutching to her pants, as the cave was dark and they couldn't see much.

She stopped walking for a moment, thinking that she saw something on the wall. And then she heard talking, a scream, and when she looked back at where the rest were supposed to be...

...they were gone.

"Where the bloody hell--" She took a few steps forward, only to fall down the same hole everyone else fell down.

And down into that crazy room where everyone else was.

Mushroomon jumped up, jumping around. "Oooh! FUN!!!!"

Thian blinked, shrugged, dropped the Gameboy and headed back to where Christo was. "Hey, you're right! Cool!" He snagged an egg wrapped in blue foil and bit down on it. "Mmm, oh man, that's good!" he enthused, drooling slightly from the side of his mouth.

"Thian," Fiona groaned, taking the egg from the boy. "You need to take the foil off before you eat the egg." After unwrapping it carefully (avoiding the spit), she gave it back and took her own egg.

Christo rolled her eyes, "You are such a doof, Thian."

"Christo?" whispered Labramon, "What's a doof?"

"A stupid person who does really dumb things," replied Christo, "In other words, Thian."

Thian sweatdropped. "Foil... oh, right. What a funny thing to do to a piece of chocolate!" He took another bite, and grinned with his mouth full. "Mm, even better now... sankyuu!"

Tsafmon wandered around the room, and after a couple of minutes noticed that, while it was fairly big, it didn't have many doors. In fact, there was only one -- not counting the hole in the ceiling -- which was off in one of the corners. It seemed a little strange to him, for a room so clearly designed to be a lot of fun -- a place where you'd want to spend lots of time. He looked around for someone to share this observation with, but as most of his peers (and their 'destineds) were running around like maniacs, had a bit of a hard time with this. Instead, he sat down in the middle of the floor and looked around, turning his head from side to side.

Labramon walked over to Tsafmon. She looked at him, her head cocked to one side. "Penny for your thoughts?" she asked.

"Hi!" chirped Tsafmon, wagging his tail slightly in a rather un-lizard-like fashion. "I'll pay you twice that if you'll listen! See..." and here he frowned. "I know I'm not good at this kind of stuff, but doesn't this place seem a little weird to you? I don't know. It's just that... not a trap, but... It just doesn't feel right to me." He stopped and looked up at the Digimon of Sensitivity, unsure of how to express the niggling doubt in his mind and hoping that she might know what he meant.

Labramon furrowed her brow. "You may be right..." she murmured, trailing off. She looked around at the digidestined and other digimon and sighed in frustration.

"How can the others relax at a time like this?" she asked, more thinking out loud than anything else, "One of our team is missing, and whether they realize it or not, everyone here is in danger."

Tsafmon nodded. "Exactly!" He stood up and scurried a few paces, then looked at her beseechingly. "Help me warn them? You're so much better at this than me."

Once he finished the chocolate egg -- and wiped his mouth -- Thian was slightly at a loss for what to do. He, too, felt that something was wrong. Deciding this was simply that he wasn't having enough fun at the moment, he grabbed Kamika by the hand and dragged her up onto a trampoline. "Yaaa!" he shouted, jumping high into the air, still holding onto her hand.

"Alright," Labramon agreed, and headed over to Christo. "Christo, we should leave soon," Labramon said, "Anything might be happening to Sayu, and... I just don't like this place. It feels wrong."

"Are you crazy?" Christo exclaimed, "There's no danger in this place! This is the most fun place I've been since before I even got here, and you think we should leave just 'cause you don't like it? Don't be selfish."

"I'm not," insisted Labramon. "It's an intuition. We shouldn't be staying here."

"I've never really believed in superstitions like that, Labramon." And with that, Christo walked off to explore the other end of the room.

"Well that was a whole lot of nothing..." Labramon muttered dejectedly, turning back to Tsafmon.

Tsafmon sweatdropped. "Well, at least no one tossed you onto a trampoline, right?" He watched his 'destined harass Kamika for a few seconds, then turned back to Labramon. "So... what SHOULD we do? She didn't even want to go search for Sayu!" He looked around again, and spotted Kyrainia, who had entered the room a fair bit after most of the group, and had a sudden flash of insight. "HEY!! Maybe we can go ask her!" He trotted over to Kyrainia, hoping that her antisocial temperament might actually be an asset in a situation such as this.

Kamika was a bit surprised as Isthian took her hand and proceeded to drag her over to another trampoline. "Wha?!" were the only words she managed to get out of her mouth before she started bouncing up and down on the precious trampoline. She laughed a bit before she released Thian's grip from her own and jumped off the trampoline. Giggling a bit, she made her way towards a couch and collapsed on it.

Puttimon, on the other hand, was STILL jumping on the trampoline she had been since they entered the room. With a raised eyebrow, Kamika wondered how the Digimon could still be jumping and not get dizzy.

Tsafmon sat up on his hind legs to talk to Kyrainia, as he thought it would make him seem more serious. "Um... Kyrainia... So I was thinking that maybe we oughta be moving on? We aren't going to be helping anyone here, and it doesn't really seem like the best place to fight. It... just doesn't feel safe... ...What do you think?"

Kyrainia looked down at the little Digimon, and then looked around the room at everyone going crazy and having fun. It seemed awfully juvenile. Mushroomon was already jumping around going 'whee' every few seconds. Kyrainia glanced back at Tsafmon.

"...well, really...who wants to waste time helping anyone..." Who was it they were looking for anyway? The fall down into the room had made her lose track of what they were doing. It seemed to have the same effect on everyone else. She glanced around, checking people off her mental list.

There was obnoxious evil jerk boy...Thian and Fiona....Kamika...Christo...and....that's it.

They were missing Taira and Sayu. She couldn't remember what happened to Taira...but, with a violent shake of her head, she did remember that they were looking for Sayu.

"...do we really want to waste time searching for some girl who...hates...evil jerk boy...nevermind, you got my attention. This place seems awfully suspicious, doesn't it? I mean...this whole world's weird, but this room specifically seems...a hell of a lot like a trap. Which isn't a good thing to be in..." She walked around, glancing up at the ceiling and around at all the toys and chocolate and everything. It seemed like it would be Mushroomon's heaven...or one for the majority of these people she was with, them all being a few years younger than herself.

"...yeah...we really should be moving on. Or we're quite probably going to be getting ourselves in a spot of trouble..." She bit her lip, looking back at the Digimon. "The question is how to get this lot to snap out our their little kiddy trance..."

Fiona shrugged as Penguinmon bounced around. "I don't see what's so sinister about it. And I don't know why we want to search for that girl, either. Didn't she try to kill us? I mean, really, are we sure she even wants to be found?"

Tsafmon looked at Fiona, wagging his tail slightly as she'd always been especially nice to him. "Sayu didn't try to kill us! Well, not really," he amended. "And besides, she's a Digidestined! We have to help her so she can help us save the world!" If Tsafmon had been more devious, he would've asked her slyly whether she'd prefer to do that alone, but such shrewdness was completely foreign to him. Instead, he turned his attention back equally to Kyrainia. "I don't know how we're going to do this! That's why I want your help. You're so much smarter than me, I'm sure you can help me come up with some way to convince them!"

"I'm not exactly a person that they listen to. Widely hate, sure. But listen to? Not so much." She looked around.

"Hey you guys! Time to get moving, don't you think? You know, save Sayu?" she yelled through the room.

It was worth a try.

Hearing Kyrainia's yell, Isthian looked over, nearly twisting his ankle on the trampoline as a result. Soccer "ace" he might be, but things never went well when he lost his concentration. Getting back his rhythm quickly, though, he waved wildly at the girls. "Hiii, Kyra! Hey, and look, you've got my blobby thing, too! Hi, blobby thing!" ("'Tsafmon!'" corrected the Digi -- futilely, as Thi's attention had once again wandered.) "Aren't you having fun yet? Come on, jump on up here with me! I'll make it worth your while!" He winked lasciviously and flashed her a victory sign.

Tsafmon hung his head, blushing with supreme embarrassment.

Kyrainia walked over to the trampoline, watching Isthian go up and down. "Hey, we have things to do! Get down from there, will you?" She extended a hand, looking incredibly impatient.

Thian grinned and bounced down from the trampoline, grabbing Kyrainia's hand and kissing it in one smooth motion that kept him spinning around and onto a sofa. "Heyy!" he said, from his sprawled position. "So what can I help you lovely ladies with today?"

Kyrainia wiped her hand off on her pants, looking mildly disgusted. "Look, we really ought to be going. This place reeks of a trap, and besides, we're really just wasting our time here, and we're supposed to be finding that Sayu girl anyway."

"Ohh, riiiight... Sayu!" Thian slapped his fist into his palm, grinning. "Sure thing! Let's get to it, then!" He rolled deftly to his feet, as energetic as always, and bounded over to the door. "Alright, everybody!!" he shouted. "It's time to get a move out!" He pointed dramatically towards the door, posing in a way that could charitably be described as "not entirely idiotic."

Meanwhile, Sayu had scared her captors into giving her everything she wanted. They had also learned eloquent, curse-every-other-word ways of describing: a) Gizamon's heritage, b) Metalseadramon's heritage, c) Seagullmon's heritage, d) Chris Podima and his heritage, e) Yami no Yugi's improbable hair ("Egyptians [censored] do *not* [censored] have that [censored] kind of [censored] hair!"), and f) everything else about the world in general.

They also learned that you *will* fear Sayu's Sharp Pointy Thing. Yes. Yes, you will. Fear Sayu's Sharp Pointy Thing, or else Sayu's Sharp Pointy Thing will wreak its revenge on the poor unsuspecting soul who dared doubt it.

Oh, and, do not insult Ra in front of Sayu, unless Sayu insulted Ra first. You may say everything you want about Ma'at, though.

So, yes. Metalseadramon's servants were learning these, and other such useful things.

Gizamon, in the meantime, was still stuck being tickle-tortured, poor fellow, as Sayu, upon learning of his punishment, burst into hysterical cackling and managed to choke out through her laughter that she approved.

"Do we have to go?" Christo moaned.

"Yes," replied Labramon, nudging Christo off of the sofa and towards the others.

"Hey, stop that!"

Tsafmon, although a bit surprised by his Digidestined's sudden change of heart, quickly accepted it and padded loyally over to his side. On the way, he noticed a small, stuffed turtle lying on the floor. For some reason, it piqued his interest, so he grabbed it in his mouth and deftly tossed it onto his back. The lizard Digi then finished his jog, brushing against his partner's leg before turning his head to see if anyone else was following.

Isthian stood pointing dramatically at the door for a few minutes until even he began to feel idiotic. Or tired. Or possibly bored. But definitely one of those three! Or maybe confused. No, not confused; definitely just one of those first three.

In any case -- which we've known ascertained to be one of the aforementioned with 100% probability -- Isthian now felt it was time to take some more direct action, waked over to someone, and grabbed their arm, tugging it gently toward the door. "Come on! Our destiny awaits!" (What this destiny was he hoped no-one would ask, as he had already quite forgotten.)

"I can't wait any longer," Labramon muttered. She pushed at the door and, fortunately, it wasn't locked, so she went on through and trotted off down the corridor.

"Labramon!" called Christo, "Hey, Labramon, wait!" And she ran off after her partner, wondering why Labramon was so eager to move on.

As Thian started walking back to the door, random victim in tow, he noticed that Labramon had finally convinced her partner to get a move on. "Alright! Now we're getting somewhere! Come on, everyone, join the party!"

Christo reluctantly followed Labramon down the corridor. She looked around a little, though with not much interest. It was lit by slightly dim, yellowish lights (like the ones in her school, Christo thought) and cobwebs clung to the ceiling. Christo sneezed. There was dust, too.

It wasn't long down the corridor before Christo had to stop. The corridor split off into six or seven passageways, all identical. Christo sighed. At least the others might catch up to her before she and Labramon chose a passageway. Then again, they could spend the next three hours arguing and not get anywhere, if she knew them. "So which way?" she muttered, more thinking out loud than anything else. Labramon shook her head.

Thian ran off after Christobel, being hampered only slightly by the poor person he was dragging along behind him. "Hey, it isn't safe to go off by yourself in here, you know! Let me take the lead!" And Isthian struck off the second corridor from the right, completely at random. It never even came close to crossing his mind that he was doing almost exactly what he'd just told Christo not to do.

"Isthian! Thian, you moron, come back here!" Christo shouted. She sighed. "One of these days I'm going to kill you for this..." she muttered as she turned down the corridor Isthian had taken. "You're going to lead us right into a trap."

Kamika hadn't been paying attention for a while. Other than her Digimon making a nice scene of jumping on the trampoline. Shaking her head, she looked around and noticed that three of their number had disappeared. "Oh boy..." she muttered. Standing up, she walked over and grabbed the mid-air Puttimon and proceeded to walk down the rest of the path that she assumed the other three went.

Before she forgot, she announced that people were missing and that they should get a move on before everyone starts arguing again. With that said, Kamika walked off into the corridor. "Ack..." she mumbled as she noticed all the dirt and cobwebs that surrounded her.

"Kamikaaaaa... Why'd we leave the fun room to only be stuck with all this .... ICKY stuff??" Puttimon whined as she walked beside her.

Kamika rolled her eyes and picked up her Digimon from the ground, "Because Isthian and Christo and..." she blinked before shaking her head, "Someone else... went missing." She sweatdropped at her inability to remember things. It always kicked in at the worst of times. Anyway... That was what she had been thinking of until she reached a separation of hallways. "No way!" she exclaimed angrily. How in the world were they going to find the others if they went down another hallway? Grumbling, she just decided to chance it. She decided to go down the third passageway and hope for the best.

"GAH! LET ME GO!" For some unknown reason, Isthian had clamped onto his arm and was now dragging him down the hallway at high speeds. Trying to keep up the best he could, Chris just barely managed to stay on his feet.

Thian grinned at Christo's protests and kept running. "No time for that! We can't stop now! Not so close to our goal!" He looked back at Chris, a classic look of Goggle-boy happy-go-lucky stupidity on his face. "And you're sticking with me, until you promise to follow along! Can't have people running off and getting lost!"

While Tsafmon was loyal, he saw it as his job to make sure everyone else followed. He ran around the toy-filled room, stuffed turtle still sitting on his back, and headbutted the slower and more reticent members of the group.

Kyrainia, shocked by everyone suddenly jumping into SaveSayu!mode, slowly followed everyone else, glad to be doing something other than acting like moronic five-year-olds. Mushroomon followed, bouncing around, just being his typical happy-go-lucky self.

Fiona, who had been temporarily distracted by a shiny object, looked up and noticed that she was alone and everyone else was gone. "Um... Penguinmon?" she said, looking around for him. That didn't take very long, because he was right next to her, looking at the shiny object Fiona herself had been distracted by a few seconds earlier.

"Wha?" Penguinmon looked up, and noticed everyone was gone as well. "Where is everybody?"

"I don't know!" whined Fiona. She was beginning to panic. Finally, she grabbed Penguinmon's arm... flipper? and started running down the first corridor she saw.

Kamika clutched her Digimon tightly as she walked further in. The dim lights weren't helping any in her attempt to see further so all she had to rely on was what she could see now. "Ugghhh..."

Puttimon, whose past hyperness was gone, acted almost like her partner. Pretty much paranoid at every step. Suddenly, she heard footsteps and started to shiver, "Kamika!"

Kamika stopped in her tracks and turned, "Helllo?? Is anyone there?" she asked out loud.

Isthian kept running down the hall for another few minutes, Chris still in tow, until he came to dead end. Fortunately, he was able to see it early enough not to slam right into it -- it wasn't anywhere near as dark down there as the cave tunnels above had been. "Drat! Guess we can't go any more this way!" Thian finally let go of Chris's hand, and sighed heavily.

Christo muttered some not-so-polite words under her breath. "I guess we better go back, then..." she sighed.

Labramon nodded, but peered closer at the dead end, as if expecting a door to appear.

Thian gestured in annoyance. "What kind of lame hallway is this? It doesn't even go anywhere!" He rolled his eyes dramatically. "Well, let's take a break for a minute before heading back..." He leaned against the wall at the back to rest, and let out a shout as it fell down at his push. He wound up lying sprawled on his back on top of the thick block of stone that had once been a wall. "What kind of lame wall is this?!" he cried.

"A secret passage?" Christo wondered out loud.

Labramon grinned triumphantly--as much as her canine features would allow, anyway. "I knew there had to be a passage there!" she announced.

Christo looked at her, "And you didn't mention this... why?"

Christo peered down the passage. Now that she thought about it, she wasn't sure she really wanted to walk down it. It was dark--darker than the hallway they were in. "Should we really be going down there?" she asked. She felt a tightness in her stomach. She couldn't understand it--she'd walked down her fair share of dark tunnels here; so why, why was she so afraid? She breathed deeply, trying to calm herself.

Labramon could sense her partner's terror. She laid her head on Christo's leg, nuzzling her comfortingly. "Don't worry," she whispered, "I'll protect you. Be brave, Christo!"

Isthian rolled over onto his stomach and looked out into the darkness. "I guess we should... The evil enemy's secret lair is always behind the secret entrance, right? So it's forward march from here on out!"

Back with the rest of the Digidestined, Tsafmon turned his head in the direction he somehow instinctively knew his partner was in. "I get the feeling that Isthian is about to do something very stupid..." he commented.

Christo swallowed. "Chris? What do you think?"

Kyrainia looked at Christo. "Well I don't know about psycho jerk boy over here, but quite frankly, secret passages reek of the enemy lair...so if that's what we're aiming for..."

Thian bristled defensively. "Hey, I know you all think..." He blinked. "Wait, that really IS where we're trying to go, isn't it? Then what're we waiting for? Let's go!"

"Normally I'd disagree with the witch-girl, but you do have a point - isn't the cliché villain always behind the secret doors?" Chris shrugged.

Christo frowned, "Guess so." She looked down the passageway, eyeing it as if she expected it to attack them--which was weird, now she came to think of it, because generally tunnels don't attack people.

Things in tunnels do.

She looked at the others, "Who's going first?"

Labramon just shook her head pityingly.

"I am, of course!" asserted Thian as he leapt to his feet. "In order to complete our mission, no risk is too great, no cavern too haunted!"

It probably would be a good thing if no-one asked the self-assuming leader what exactly their mission was right then, because odds are he wouldn't remember.

Christo looked at Isthian. "Well, if you really want to, I guess I'll follow," she said, then cursed herself for being so stupid. She should have remembered the first rule of surviving in the Digital World: Never Follow Isthian.

Labramon looked at the group, "Most of us aren't here yet. I don't think that going into uncharted territory without them would be a very good idea." Her gaze turned to the tunnel, "But on the other hand, time is of the essence. We have no idea what they could be doing to Sayu right now."

Fiona heard familiar-sounding voices up ahead of her, and she broke into a run to catch up with them. Penguinmon, who, of course, had the physique of a penguin, found running tiring, so he decided to fly instead.

Soon Fiona had skidded into the group. "Thanks for... hwee... leaving me, guys..." she wheezed.

Thian looked around, startled, as Fiona ran up with Tsafmon. "Hi, honey! What kept you so long? We've been waiting here for you!" While this was technically not true, Thi's mind was fickle enough that at that moment he thought it was. "So is everyone here, then? Oh, wait! Where's your girl gone to, Podima?"
