The Sakura Card series is very unique. Li does not play much of a role here, but he still helps Sakura.
She uses her new star wand to command the cards now, instead of the original one. This wand changes Clow Cards into Sakura Cards, which become more powerful. Li basically hangs around unless danger comes. In this series, Eriol comes into play. He is a magician that is one of Clow Reed's halves, when Clow split into two. He is constantly competing with Li for Sakura, but let's stop right there. Anyway, this series ends the journeys of Li and Sakura until the 2nd Movie.
