Ghaleon is from the Playstation games Lunar: The Silver Star Story and Lunar: Eternal Blue. He is a rather mysterious character with unknown motives. We first meet him in Lunar: SSS. Here, he is the Premier of the Magic Guild in the floating city of Vane. He seems to be a very soft-spoken, respectable person. He sends you on a small mission, and upon your return, he accompanies you to see the White Dragon. (He's a kick-butt fighter! Level 99, and over 400 Magic Points!)
Upon the meeting with the White Dragon, we are shocked to find out that Ghaleon is actually the Magic Emperor, the main villain of the game. He turns on you and kidnaps Luna, a valuable member of your party. You spend the rest of the game leveling up, and trying to track him down. Upon your last battle with him, we find out that Ghaleon is trying to harness the power of the goddess Althena (Luna) to become a god. You beat him, and he dies. *cry*
In Lunar: Eternal Blue, Ghaleon is resurrected once more, and is, of course, a bad guy. His motives are even more confusing because in a few cases, he actually helps you out. Upon your final battle with him, you find out that he is actually trying to atone for his sins of the past, that's why he helped you. He dies once more in a sad scene where his body simply vanishes.
I like Ghaleon because, like I mentioned earlier, he's a kick-butt fighter. And I must admit that I was rather...annoyed when he turned on me in Lunar 1.
