Mercuria's Favorite Senshi

Here we have my favorite senshi, in order from Favorite to Least Favorite. Here we go!

#1, Sailor Saturn: She is so kakko-i! My main reasons for liking her are: a) She is very mysterious, b) She is arguably the most powerful senshi, c) She is turned evil, but manages to overcome it, d) Though she is the senshi of destruction, she still appreciates beauty (i.e., collecting lamps), and e) Her fuku is so unbelievably cool. Take that, Eternal Sailor Moon!

#2, Sailor Mercury: This girl has brains, looks (in my opinion), and is loyal and kind to children. I like her mainly because: a) People might say she's a mouse, but once she transforms, she really kicks! b) She knows how to apply her knowledge to every-day battles (big ones too!) c) She's a social outcast. Gotta love those loners! d) She is one of the only Inner Senshi (besides Mars) who isn't completely boy-crazy, and e) Her attacks are so KIREI!

#3, Sailor Mars: Woohoo! She's pretty too, and with a temper to match (or exceed)! I like her because a) She wants to be a singer/songwriter, like me b) She, like Sailor Mercury, is not obsessed with boys (yeah, she kissed Chad, but she doesn't go LOOKING for boys), c) She knows karate (like me again) and is fairly good at it, d) She's a psychic (need I say more?), and e) She is her own person. This has been described by some as "being a jerk", but I'm glad she doesn't just sit back and let someone else run the show.

#4, Sailor Pluto: Again, we have someone who loves kids! With a really kakko-i weapon (Time Staff) to fight evil with! I think Sailor Pluto is cool because a) She is also mysterious and powerful, b) She could change Time, but refrains from doing so ( I know she isn't supposed to, but still, I admire her will-power), c) She completely kicks in battle, even without using Dead Scream, and d) She is a great scientist. Even in the pathetic dub, we still get to see her researching those plants Tellu created.

#5, Sailor Chibi Moon: The first thing that pops into your head is, "Aww, how KAWAII!" Say that to her and die a painful death. She's cool because a) She turns evil and seduces Mamoru (I have a secret weakness for good-turned-evil people), b) She is a good and loyal friend. Example: When Kaolinite kidnaps her and takes her to Hotaru-who-is-semi-changed-into-Mistress-9, the first and only thing she says before collapsing is,"Hotaru ... it's good to see you." c) She's nowhere near as ditzy as Serena/Usagi!, and d) Her costume is very kakko-i!

#6, Sailor Kinmoku: Belive it or not, we're still on senshi I really like! Sailor Kinmoku (or Kakkyu, I forget which one is right, so don't quote me on this one) is the Starlight's lost princess. In the manga, she joins Sailor Moon, the Starlights, and Chibi Chibi on their journey to Zero Star Saggitarius. She got killed there by one of the Starseed gardeners (I think it was Chi). I think she rocks because a) She killed Sailor Phi all by herself, b) She has the coolest hair-style, c) She dies in Eternal Sailor Moon's arms telling her not to give up, and d) Her fuku is kirei.

#7, Sailor Neptune: The main turn-off about Sailor Neptune for me is her sexuality. I have nothing against homosexuals, but I don't know enough about homosexuality to feel very comfortable about it. However, it shouldn't be ignored that she is a very talented girl. She plays the violin, paints, and swims very well. Another thing I wonder about is why she chose Haruka over- well, anybody. Like Elsie/Elza Gray, for example.
P.S. All you dubbers out there who think that they're cousins and can't belive that I dare to print the word "homosexual" ... get a life.

#8, Sailor Jupiter: Nothing to dislike, nothing to like in my opinion. Except her incredibly annoying way of comparing everything to her old BF. It was cute the first time ... but after that, annoying. I'm also extremely contemptuous of those who aspire to be housewives. Come on, Makoto, start your own martial arts center! Now that would be cool. But I'm not Naoko ...

#9, Sailor Venus/V: Gak! Another dumb, hyper blonde on the loose in Tokyo! Alright, saying Minako's dumb isn't really doing Usagi justice, but still ... can we say not the sharpest tack? Not only that, but the boy-hunting ... why, why, why? What kind of role model is she, anyways? I will give her this: she is very loyal to Serena/Usagi. She is always the first one up on her feet to defend her princess in battle. But, her other, more annoying traits are what spring to mind when I think "Minako".

#10, Tuxedo Kamen: "Don't give up Sailor Moon, I will fight w-" *Merc: NOOOOOOO! Stopit, stopit! Die, cheap dubbed episode, DIE* Umm ... does that sum up how I feel about Tuxedo Kamen's speeches? Oh, so annoying. In Japanese, they're just cryptic. He might as well say, "Dot dot dash, dot dash dash dot dot ..." get the picture? He and Sailor Moon deserve each other. And while he may look impressive, he can't fight for anything*.

*Watch the Sailor Moon SuperS movie. There lies the proof of his inability to fight.

#11, Sailor Moon: "...and in the name of the, wait ... gimme a sec ... it's on the tip of my tongue..." That would pretty much describe Sailor Moon. She's a good friend, yes, but I can't believe that such a ditz can wield such awesome powers when she is obviously too stupid to use them properly. Her intentions are good, but if things weren't so conveniently in her favor all the time, she would have been dead a long time ago. To tell the truth, I don't really hate Sailor Moon, in fact I rather like her future self, she's just a bit of a pet peeve of mine. Okay, a really big pet peeve of mine.

#12, Sailor Uranus: We have reached the bottom of the list/barrel/ladder/whatever. Sailor Uranus. The senshi I detesteth. Here's why:

* She killed Saturn-chan! Who could kill a fellow senshi, friend, and twelve-year-old (kid) all rolled into one person?!

* Poor Michi deserves so much better! Come on! Haruka has been known to flirt with other girls just for the heck of it. She chased after Bunny and kissed her twice! Okay, only once, but their faces were soooo close together . . . and then good 'ol Mamoru-san came along and ended the "moment". Even so, if she were my girlfriend (and yes, I am a girl), I would say, "Cut it out or get out."

* Personally, racing is what I believe to be one of the most boring activities in all the world. Do not try to convince me otherwise, because you won't suceed.

* She gave in to the enemy! Accepted her bracelets! I know, Michi did that too, but I have my reasons for liking Michi better.

* She's pretty distrustful, even in the manga. She won't work as a team with the inner scouts/senshi, not even after they save her butt. It takes a long time for her to trust them even a little. They're fellow Sailor Senshi/Scouts, in the name of Cardcaptor Sakura! She could have been a little nicer and not made threats on their lives.

* She is rather ruthless. In the anime, she never gives up a pure heart crystal once she gets it. Half of every episode is the inner scouts/senshi trying to get her to give them the darn pure heart crystal already! Then, after she checks it (and big surprise, it's not the one she's looking for) she reluctantly lets the inner scouts/senshi have it back.

So there you have it. My fave senshi and a bag of chips.
