Alicit@aol.com***Notes on the series***PLEASE READ***: There was a lot of commotion about the second to last installment of this series (the letter from Catherine to Iria) "Another Obstacle". Because of this, I looked at the whole series again. The letter was a part of the original plan. Without it the story couldn’t turn out the way I thought it would. But by looking at it again, I saw another way out. So I went over it in my head, and found that I truly liked the second ending better than the first. So I decided to trash the original ending and use the second one I thought of. The original story would have continued on the downward spiral of the last letters. The new one has… closure… and that’s what I was going for before. Thank you to all the people who gave their honest opinions on "Another Obstacle"… you helped me find where I needed this tale to go. However, in the new ending, "Another Obstacle" didn’t necessarily have to happen. Seeing as I wrote that before I changed my mind about the series, you can either look at the series as including it or not.

A second note: in this series Trowa is dead, Quatre went insane because of it, and Iria committed him. (He was seeing dead Trowa… not good) there seemed to be a bit of confusion on this and I hope I cleared it up!
PS: because you are such good boys and girls… this installment has two letters for your enjoyment!

Miss I. Winner-
I am glad to report that your brother, Quatre R. Winner, is progressing most agreeably with the therapy program. We recently had a breakthrough in the acceptance stage, as he now accepts the death of his friend. With all our techniques, all we were successful in was stopping his hallucinations. The only explanation I can gather is that this acceptance was brought on by the letter that he received recently. What was in it? He refuses to answer me directly about it, but it seems to be news he was looking for. In any case, it has greatly assisted us and I am now assured that your brother will make a full recovery and will soon be able to return home. A full medical report is attached to this message

Dr. E. M. Gold-
I cannot find the words to express my gratefulness towards you for your help with my brother. I can hardly believe my eyes as I read your words. Would it now be wise to allow me to visit with Quatre? I would very much like to see him now. I must admit, I have no idea what was in the letter, I merely forwarded it to Quatre. I will bet that it was good news, or as good news as it can be.
Gratefully,
Iria Winner
