Naoko Takeuchi, creator of the popular Sailor Moon (BiShoujo Senshi Sailor Moon) series,was born March 15 In Kofu, Japan. Her first work was Love Call. Next she created series for Kodansha,which include, Choclate Christmas, Miss Rain and Wink Rain. Then in 1991, she wrote a story that was suppoised to be a one time deal. It's name was Sailor V, the story became very popular and when they were going tomake it into an anime, she took the concept of Sailor V's world and re-wrote the entire thing, and born was Sailor Moon! Sailor V made it into the new series as Sailor Venus, but the previous stories were (plot-wsie) happened before Sailor V joined the SM group. The SM manga had with 52 acts/ 18 volumes. The TV series ran from March 1992 to Feb.1997 and had over 200 episodes. Her most recent works are Princess Takeuchi Naoko's Return to Society Punch, which is basically a autobiography.
