Hayao Miyazaki- Brillant

Hayao Miyazaki, the renowned artist, creator of such classics as: Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service Miyazaki was born in Tokyo on January 5, 1941. His first job was as an animator at Toei Doga. He then did such works as Panda Kopanda and Flying Ghost Ship. Later in 1984 after the succes of his film Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind, he started a studio, Studio Ghibli, which he has made five movies from it.
All his films from Ghibli, did very well in the box office, and his 1997 film, Princess Mononoke was Japans' highest grosiing film, until Titanic came along. The film drew in over $150 million. When it showed on television it was the highest watched show of all time (in Japan). Another great movie from Ghibli is Grave of the FireFlies Now he is working on a film called Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi. Mr. Miyazaki will continue to amaze the world with his originality and detailed art of his films.
