Unfortunately for the Dragonslayers, Dilandau-sama has a very, very, VERY short temper and likes to slap them around on a regular basis. Dilandau's job is to capture the Escaflowne guymelef for Emporer Dornkirk, although all he really wants to do is cut Van up into little peices for scarring his beautiful face. Besides himself, other things Dilandau really likes are fire, killing, fighting...okay, destruction of any sort makes him insanely happy (aw, but that's why we love him!). Even thoough he is quite insane, Dilandau is extremely skilled in his line of work, able to lay waste to anyhting in his path during battle. We know all to well how much Dilandau-sama likes to destroy things, but very little is known about his past and his family. Even if you don't like Dilandau, you have to feel some sypathy for him as time goes on. Sure, he's vain, arrogant, blood-thirsty and all around not a very nice guy, but he also goes through a great deal of suffering through out the series. -The Dilandau Obsessed SATSUKI Return
