Chapter 7: Icecream & Arcades

For the first time in three days, Serena was happy. “Common you guys!” Serena said skipping to the icecream parlor. Mina, Amy, Raye, and Lita were glad to to have Serena happy again, but three of them didn’t know why she got a sudden boost of happiness. Serena stopped what she was doing when she saw someone...Heero.
Duo was trying to convince him to go into the icecream parlor, and so was Quatre. And Trowa was trying to make Wufei join them. “Common Heero!” whined Duo pouting. “Hi Dou!” said Lita smiling and waving. Duo looked up and smiled as he saw Lita. “Hi Lita! What’s up?” asked Duo temporality fogetting Heero. “The sky,” joked Lita. Then the two laughed and got into there own little conversation. “Hi Quatre!” said Mina going up to him while smiling. “Hello Mina,” Quatre replied giving her a smile. “Hey Wufei, remember me?” asked Raye. “Good afternoon Trowa,” Amy shyly said.
Serena’s four best friends forgot about her and talked to one of the guys. That only left Serena and Heero. “Hi Heero,” Serena said quietly looking down at her shoes. Heero looked at her then turned towards the icecream parlor. The other guys already went in. Even Wufei. Heero sighed. “We might as well go in too, no point in staying out here,” Heero said as he looked at Serena. Serena raised her head and nodded. The two walked in to find out each girl sat by a guy. Serena sweatdropped. ‘Thanks a lot guys,’ she thought. (Do I have to tell you who is sitting by who? Might as well) Amy and Trowa sat at one table, Raye and Wufei sat at one, Lita and Duo sat at one and they were laughing about something, and Quatre and Mina sat at another. “Do you want to sit with me? You don’t have to,” asked Serena thinking of all the icecream which she could order. Heero shrugged.
The two sat at an unoccupied table. “So Heero, how are you?” Serena asked, her shyness washing away. “Fine,” he simply replied. ‘What’s wrong with him?’ Serena asked herself, but she didn’t get a reply. A waiter came up and asked for a order.(Do they have waiters at icecream place?) “Okay let’s see, a large strawberry milkshake,” Serena replied. “And you sir,” the waiter asked Heero. “Nothing,” he replied. “Aww common Heero, pick something!” Serena said. “No,” he said. Serena made a puppy face. “Please?” she asked. Heero looked at her and frowned. “Fine, I’ll get one of those icecream cones,” he said. “What flavor?” the waiter asked. “Same as her,” he said. The waiter nodded and walked off. Serena smiled and Heero’s frown got deeper. ‘I don’t believe I let her talk me into getting one of those things,’ Heero thought. ‘Stupid feelings I’m getting,’ Heero thought. After the waiter gave them their orders Serena already started. Heero took a lick of the cone, then took another. “This tastes alright,” he said as he repeatedly licked it. Serena looked up and smiled. “What, you never ate one before?” asked Serena. “Yeah,” he replied. Serena looked shoked. ‘He never ate icecream before? Whoa,’ Serena thought looking at him. ‘He sure is cute though,’ Serena thought smiling, and then she blushed.
After they finished everyone met outside. “That sure was fun!” smiled Raye looking at Wufei. “Yeah whatever,” grinned Wufei. Duo looked at his watch. “Whoa, we better get going guys,” he said looking at the other guys. “Goodbye Amy,” Trowa said nodding to Amy. Amy blushed and nodded too. “Goodbye,” Amy replied. “Aww, how cute!” smiled Serena poking Amy. Amy blushed. “See you later Quatre” said Mina smiling. “Bye Mina, see you at school Monday, or sooner,” replied Quatre. Mina smiled. “Cya Lita!” said Dou putting his hand out. “Bye bye!” smiled Lita shaking hands with him. “Bye Heero,” said Serena as she glanced at Heero. Heero just glanced at her and looked away. Duo poked Heero. Heero gave an evil glare at Dou and Dou did the same. Duo whispered something in his ear and Heero seemed to frown and his eyes narrowed at Duo, and Duo grinned. (I wonder what Duo said!? ^.~) “See you later Serena,” Heero muttered as he started to walk off. “See all you girls later!” Duo said, he gave a quick wave and walked in the same direction as Heero. The other boys waved and walked off. “What? No Fair!” Serena yelled at the Sailor V game. Serena turned around and glared at Lita and Mina as they laughed at her. “Be quiet,” Serena murmured. Serena put another quater in and pushed and poked at the control panels. “No!!!!” Serena screamed at the game as she was killed again. Serena started wailing, and Lita and Mina covered there ears. “Hey Meatball head, calm down!” said a voice. Serena abruptly stop and glared at the person. “Go away Darien,” Serena cried furiously. She got up and stormed out of the arcade. “What did I do?” Darien asked confused. Lita narrowed her eyes, and she hands balled into fist. “Why don’t you just leave her alone Darein?” Mina asked annoyed. Lita punched him in the stomach and went out of the arcade the same way Serena did and Mina followed.
Darien grabbed his stomach and groaned. Andrew walked up concerned. “Hey Dar, you okay?” Andrew asked. Darien groaned again and took a deep breath. “Yeah,” Darien forced out still grabbing his stomach. “Hey what did you do to Serena?” asked a voice. Darien swirled around to see a boy with his hair in a long braid. Darien narrowed his eyes. “Who are you?” Darien asked. “I should ask the same question, what did you do to make fun and happy Serena, Lita, and Mina so furious?” the boy asked. “Oh yeah, how rude I’ve been, I’m Duo,” said the boy, not even bothering to put his hand out. “Actually, I don’t know what I did,” Darien replied still trying to breath. Duo tried not to laugh at the look on the mans face, ‘Heh, I knew Lita could do some pretty cool punches and stuff, but I never knew she was this good!’ Duo thought. “Well got to go, bye,” Duo said as he rushed out the door to find the girls, and Duo found them in front of a shoe store.
“I hate him, can’t he figure that out yet?” Duo heard Serena say. “Hey guys, whats wrong?” Duo asked as he reached them. The three looked at him. Lita looked at Serena, and Serena nodded. “Well you know that guy--” Lita began but Duo interrupted, “That you punched?” Dou grinned as Lita blushed. “Well yeah, him and Serena used to um go out, and well Serena read something of his and found out something, and he doesn’t know, and Serena hates his guts,” Lita said trying not to give out information about Rini. Duo frowned. “Hey sorry Serena,” Duo apologized. “It’s not you fault!” Serena said giving him a smile. ‘So then Heero does have a chance, though I know he’ll never admit he likes Serena, hehehe, I bet Serena likes him too! Hehe, we’ll have to get them togeter, they make such a cute couple!’ Dou thought then he smiled. Growling could be heard. Lita and Mina laughed and Serena blushed. “What’s that?” Duo asked. Serena blushed more. “My tummy,” Serena whispered. Duo laughed. “I thought that was a dog or something,” Duo laughed again. Serena turned scarlet.
Mina checked her watch on her right wrist. “Well it’s almost lunch time, hey Duo think you could get the rest of the guys, and we’ll get Amy and Raye, and we’ll meet back here and go out for lunch?” Mina asked looking up at him. “Sure, why not!” Duo smiled. “You should bring some extra cash, since Serena’s a heavy eater!” Lita laughed. Serena stuck her tongue out at Lita.
Heh, sorry this took so long to get out..I'm too lazy.. ::shrug::
