Chapter 2: Serena meets Heero

Okay all of the scouts go to the same school.
Everyone knows I don't own these characters or I wouln't be writing fanfiction, I'd be spending money! ^.^
Serena woke up early the next morning. She glanced at her clock, it read 7:40. To say the least Luna and Serena's mother was surprised. "Honey, what are you doing up so early?" Serena's mother asked worridley. "I don't know" Serena replied as she ate a bowl of cereal. Serena slowly walked up the stairs and changed into her uniform and slowly walked to school. 'I hate my life, even my wish didn't come true,' Serena thought as a few tears came to her eyes, but she blinked them away.
Once she reached school, she made it on time, and she was even five minutes early! Ms. Haruna almost fainted as she saw Serena sit in her seat. "Serena, what are you doing here?!?" Ms. Haruna asked. Serena looked up, shrugged, and looked back down at her desk. "Serena, are you okay?" asked Molly Baker, Serena's best friend, worridley. "Yeah Moll," Serena replied as she put her forehead on her desk and sighed. 'I just want to die,' Serena thought angriliy, 'Stupid crystal, didn't even make my wish come true.'
After a few minutes the bell rang and class started. Ms. Haruna took roll call, then something unexpected happened. "Class I want you to meet four new students," stated Ms. Haruna. Serena looked up, not really interested and saw four boys standing in the front of the class. One had brown hair, which was pulled in a long braid. Another also had brown hair, but it covered one of his eyes. The next one had blond hair with wild bangs, and the last one had dark brown hair also with wild bangs. Then Ms. Haruna intorduced each one. "Here is Dou Maxwell, here Trowa Barton, here is Quatre Winner, and last but not least is Heero Yuy," said Ms. Haruna smiling.
All of the girls sighed, not including Serena and Amy, at the boys. Mina, who sat beside Serena leaned over and whispered in her ear, "Aren't they just total hunksters Sere?" "I guess," Serena replied, putting her forehead on the desk again. A shiver went up Serena's spine. That one boy, Heero, his eyes, the coldness. It almost seemed evil.. And as if on coincidence Ms. Haruna assigned each boy in this order, Dou by Lita, Trowa by Amy, Quatre by Mina, and Heero by......Serena. Serena used her eyes to look at him. True, he was handsom, with his dark brown hair and dark blue eyes, he was average height with a serious experession. He stared at the wall, not even paying attention to Ms. Haruna, and then suddenly he turned to Serena. Serena tried to be poliet by taking her head off the desk and smiled. Though her eyes didn't seem as cheery. "Hi I'm Serena," she said still smiling. Heero didn't say a word, he just.....stared. Another shiver went up Serena's spine, her smile faded. 'Why is he doing that?' Serena asked herself. Serena than was forced to look away and turned to the front of the room, then put her forehead back on the desk and closed her eyes. After a minute she opened her eyes once again and out of the corner of her eye she looked at him. 'Good, atleast he turned away,' Serena thought, then she closed her eyes again.
Five best friends sat under a tree at lunch time. Serena looked at her lunch. She didn't feel like eating, she didn't feel like doing anything, but she forced herself to eat some rice and heard Raye say, "Yeah we also got a new guy in my class, his name is Wufei and he seems stuck up to me! Though he is kind of cute..." "I like Quatre! He is so nice!" exclaimed Mina as she started eating a cookie which Lita baked. Soon Lita noticed Serena not doing anything. "Serena what's wrong?" Lita asked looking at her blond friend. Serena shook her head and kept staring at her lunch. "Oh no, something is definetley wrong with her," Mina whispered to Amy. "Serena, what's wrong? You can tell us," said Amy reassuringly.
Serena just shook her head and smiled. "Nothings wrong! Well gotta go!" she said as she grabbed her lunch bag and ran by a bush sat down and started crying. "What's wrong with you?" asked an unfamiliar voice. Serena startled looked up and saw Heero, the boy in her class! He was sitting down, with a small bag of food by him as he stared at Serena with his cold eyes. "Oh, I'm sorry I wouldn't of had come here if I disturbed you," Serena said looking down. "You didn't answer my question," he replied. Serena blushed and looked up. "Nothing, I just don't feel okay," she replied looking down at her shoes. Then something rustled and a head poped out. "Whoa! Hey Heero you already have a girlfriend!" said the boy. It was Dou, the other boy from Serena's class. Serena blushed slightly. "Umm I'm not his girlfriend,"" she replied. Dou smirked and nodded as he turned to Heero, and Heero gave Dou a evil stare, but Dou ignored it. "Oh hey Serena, you okay?" Dou asked as he looked closer at Serena. Serena startled by Dou knowing her name she just nodded. "I'm okay, I just didn't have a good week," she said looking up at the sky and blinked away tears, but failed as another tear rolled down her cheek. Dou didn't say anymore, instead the bell for lunch to end rang. "Hey common Heero, let's go! Oh and bye Serena," said Dou as his head disappeared behind the bush. "Here," said Heero as he held out something. Serena looked down to see a tissue. Serena gave a small smile. "Thank you Heero," she whispered as she took the tissue and Heero grabbed his bag and left. Serena whiped away the tear and smiled. 'Thank you,' she thought and smiled. Well that's all for now...
