Prologue

Usagi tried not to yawn, as she watched Mamoru read. Their relationship has gotten boring lately, him usually reading, her sleeping. She wanted so much to call it off, but she knew she couldn't do that. "Damn destiny," Usagi thought, as she started to count the little hairs on her arm. After fifteen minutes, Usagi's eyes started to droop, she made a soft yawn, and closed her eyes. After a few minutes, she fell asleep.
Mamoru looked up at Usagi sleeping. He smiled slightly, as he watched her beautiful face. He closed his book, and picked up Usagi. He breathed in the rose scent in her long silky blonde hair. Mamoru placed her on his bed, and took on look back, and closed the door.
Usagi awoke, seeing she was on Mamoru's bed. She sighed. It has been the e same always, she came, they talked for about one minute, he read, she slept, and once she woke up, she found herself in his hard bed. She never could understand how he could sleep on this thing, it was like a rock! Usagi swung her long legs over the side of the bed, and got up. She looked out the window, and her eyes widened as she saw that the sky had turn black, and stars twinkled in the sky.
"I've slept that long?" Usagi thought.
She walked across the room, and opened the door, and stuck her head outside.
"Mamo-chan?" Usagi said softly. The young woman walked down the hall way, and looked up at the clock which hung on the wall. "Nani? It's already 11?" Usagi said surprised. It was true. The clock read 11:23 p.m. Usagi placed a hand on her forehead.
"Oh kami-sama, I must have been tired." Usagi continued on her way down the hall way, and stopped at the door way to the living room. On the couch, she could see a clump of black hair. She slowly walked towards it, and peered over the edge of the couch, to see Mamoru sleeping, his hair tousled and a blanket almost falling off his sleeping form. Usagi had to admit, he did look pretty kawaii like that.
"That's sweet," Usagi thought, "He took the couch..He must respect me," Usagi smiled, and sat down on the couch where there was a small spot where she could fit. "It's terrible that I don't love you," Usagi murmured, as she stroked his hair. Usagi eyes grew wide at what she said.
"Nani? Did I really say that I don't love Chiba Mamoru?" Usagi stood up abruptly. "Iie, I love Mamoru! No, Mamo-chan! I do," Usagi said, as tears started to fall down her face. "I love him! I have to! If I don't everything will be..." Usagi trailed off. She backed away from the sleep Mamoru, and bumped into the coffee table.
"Iie!" Usagi said again, as she ran out of the apartment, slamming the door.
Usagi ran down sidewalks, cut through alley ways, and ran all the way to the the Hawaka Shrine. She ran up the stairs, which lead to the very top of the shrine.
"I love him..I have to.." Usagi choked out through her tears. "I need to talk to someone," Usagi said, still crying. She thought of names. Rei? No wait..she couldn't talk to Rei, she had went somewhere with her Grandfather, and she didn't leave her a phone number or anything. Usagi collapsed at the top of the temple stairs. She had run the this whole way for nothing. Rei wasn't here. Ami? No, Ami was gone too.
"All my friends are gone," Usagi said in realization, as she whispered. Usagi only had one person left to think of. "Seiya.." Usagi whispered. "I have to get the Ginzuishou," Usagi said aloud.
Usagi ran to her home, not tripping once. "I'm glad I don't have klutz attacks any more," Usagi thought. She had a small smile on her face, but only for a second.
Once she reached her home, she slipped into her room.
"Where have you been?" a voice asked. Usagi flinched, and turned to see an angry Luna glaring at her. "Gomen ne Luna, I fell asleep at Mamoru..I mean Mamo-chan's apartment," Usagi said, as she continued to look for her locket.
Once she found it, she opened it, and looked to see the shining Ginzuishou. "Luna, would you like to come?" Usagi asked Luna, as she turned to her.
"Come where?" Luna asked, as she tilted her furry head to the side.
"I'm going to see Seiya," Usagi responded.
"Nani?!" Luna almost yelled.
Usagi eye's grew wide, and clamped her hand over Luna's mouth. "Luna! Shh," Usagi scolded. "You don't want to wake up everyone in the city, do you?" Usagi asked. Usagi slowly took her hand away from Luna's mouth. "Do you want to go or not?" Usagi asked, impatiently.
"Oh fine, I'll go," Luna said beaten. Luna jumped up onto Usagi's shoulder. "Let's go," Luna breathed out.
Usagi smiled, but then grew serious. Usagi concentrated, and then disappeared.
