A crossover between Gundam Wing and Tenchi Muyo.
You know I don't own Gundam Wing or Tenchi Muyo, but the fic is mine. Getting to the story……Chapter 4: Much Confusion
Wufei started at the princess, amusement in his eyes. To think he startled her. Slowly he approached her. She stared at him questioning.
"Your style is very interesting." He said a moment later, folding his arms and closing his eyes.
Ayeka blinked. "Style?"
Wufei nodded. "Your fighting technique."
"Oh yes, well I've only started training recently."
Wufei opened his eyes, shocked. "Recently? It seems like you're at an advanced level." He thought, looking at her.
"May I ask what your doing out here?" She asked.
"I'm curious. I've never seen a place this beautiful before." He shrugged.
"I see." She said, sitting down on a log, looking at the pond. "I've been wondering, where are you and your friend from?"
Wufei frowned, unsure how to answer her question then slowly sat down on the ground. "You could say that we're technically from Earth but I was born on the L5 Colony and Duo's from the L2 Colony." He answered.
"Colony?" Ayeka arched her eyebrow slightly, looking at him. "I never knew Earth had any Colonies, not since I was there."
Wufei looked at her in confusion. "Earth has no Colonies, but how can that be? They were established a hundred years ago."
It was Ayeka's turn to be confused. "Odd. Earth does not yet have the technology to build anything like that. Earth is considered a primitive planet in the eyes of most Juraian's. But I see it differently." She smiled faintly. "To me, Earth has many beautiful things Jurai doesn't."
Wufei raised his eyebrows at her compliment, and shrugged. "It's strange, but I agree with you, even though I have no clue about the Earth your talking about. But I'm still very confused as to how me and my comrade came here?"
Ayeka nodded in agreement. "Indeed, I'm clueless as to how you came here also. Oh rather, how that portal brought you here in the first place?" She said, her eyes widening after realizing she said the last part out loud.
"Portal?" Wufei questioned, raising his eyebrow.
She flushed, bowing her head. "Uhh…..A Dimensional Time Portal that was given to me……I tried using it, but….I must have programmed it……to do something else other than what I had first intended to do." She finished.
"Hmmmm…Interesting…..Now it makes sense, that's what that blue light was."
Ayeka looked up and nodded.
Wufei thought a moment then studied Ayeka. She was the most intriguing woman her ever met. Then decided he would figure this out later.
"Tell me more about this planet?" He requested softly, giving her an intent look.
Ayeka glanced at him startled at his gentle tone, smiling, she looked up at the night sky, gazing at Jurai's many moons, and began her narration of Jurai's history.
Tenchi looked up at the stars, thinking about Ayeka. "What did she mean by it hurt to stay here?" He wondered.
"Tenchi, what are you doing out here this late?" Said a voice.
He turned around to see Yosho staring at him, arms folded.
"Just thinking, couldn't sleep." He answered.
Yosho raised his eyebrow. "You really miss her don't you?" He asked.
Tenchi's cheeks turned pink. "I……" He stammered, trying to think of an excuse.
Yosho chuckled. "I know how you feel. I miss my sister too." Then his expression turned serious. "But I've done too much, and I've hurt her too much. I regret it sometimes, but I cannot change the past."
Tenchi nodded, remembering how Ayeka was searching for him once, and how sad her reunion was when she did.
"She was searching for me for seven hundred years." Yosho continued. "I made her waste all that time for nothing. When I left with Hurana, I had no idea she had her heart set on me."
Tenchi closed his eyes at hearing Hurana's name. He remembered what Ayeka had said, and how he sided with Hurana when he was in her dream world. It must have really hurt Ayeka. Ryoko too. "Grandpa, ever since Ayeka left, the house is so quiet. I was used to hearing her and Ryoko argue twenty-four hours a day, now, without her, it's just not the same." He said, blinking.
Yosho nodded. "It is." He answered, pushing up his glasses. "You know, sooner or later she'll marry and you'll still be blind Tenchi."
"Huh?" Tenchi arched his eyebrows, staring at him.
"She lose interest soon." Yosho said, then turned and headed back to the shrine, leaving Tenchi very confused.
Duo eyes widened. "The Emperor." He stammered.
Osaka and Kamadake nodded. "He just returned, so tell us how you came here?"
"You know, I have no idea, but maybe you could ask Ayeka." He answered.
"Huh?" Both guards raised their eyebrows. "Princess Ayeka, you mean to tell us you're her guest?"
Duo nodded. "You could say that. My friend Wufei too."
"Hmmm." They looked at each other, nodding. "Very well, we shall talk to her about this, come with us."
Duo shrugged and followed. "Alright."
Ayeka and Wufei walked through most of the Palace as she showed him around, explaining everything to him.
"So your seven-hundred years old eh?" He asked, amazed.
She nodded, blushing lightly. "Yes, we Juraian's age slowly with the aid of Jurai's water."
Wufei raised his eyebrows in wonderment. To think she had seen so many things. He stared at her, she was unlike any woman he'd ever met. There were still so many things he didn't know about her, and her was curious.
Ayeka caught him staring and smiled. "Why are you staring at me?" She asked.
Wufei immediately turned away. Not saying anything. She giggled at his response, and shook her head lightly.
Wufei frowned, and was about to ask her something else when he heard footsteps approaching them.
"We've been looking for you Princess." Osaka and Kamadake said as they stopped infront of her, Duo behind them.
"Yes?" She asked.
"This boy tells us he's a guest of yours." They said pointing at Duo.
"He is." Ayeka answered. "And so is he." She said, making a slight gesture at Wufei.
The guards frowned. "Your aware that the Emperor needs to this right?" They asked.
"I'm very well aware of that. So my father has returned. I will let him know immediately." She said.
Both guards bowed, and left.
"Looks like we get to meet daddy huh?" Duo asked, a side grin on his face.
She nodded. "Yes, so I suggest you two make yourselves presentable." She smiled lightly at them. "I'll let you know when may father would like to see you." With that she headed off to her room.
Later that night…..
Ayeka lead the two Gundam Pilots to the throne room where her father and mother awaited. She had already explained everything to him, and how they got there, so Asuza only wanted to meet them.
They entered the large room, and made their way down the red carpet to where Emperor Asuza sat on his throne, Fanaho, and Misaki beside him.
She already instructed how to present themselves, so she was the first to bow.
"Father, may I present to you my guests." She said, gesturing a hand towards them. "Wufei Chang and Duo Maxwell from Earth."
Asuza nodded at her and narrowed as he studied the two. "I welcome you both to my Kingdom." He said a moment later. "I am Asuza, Emperor of Jurai, and these are my wives. First Queen Fanaho, and Second Queen Misaki."
Wufei and Duo bowed as Ayeka had instructed them to do earlier.
"Um. Thank you your highness." Duo muttered, then stood up, studying the members of Royalty. The Emperor had dark purple hair, and the Second Queen had light blue hair. One actually looked human, and that would be First Queen Fanaho, she had black hair.
Fanaho noticed Duo staring at her. She smiled at him. "What are you gawking at young man?" She asked grinning.
Duo eyes widened in embarrassment He was unsure of what to say, he looked at Wufei for help, but his companion only shrugged. Ayeka giggled. "If you wondering, Fanaho is from Earth, just like you." She explained.
Duo's jaw dropped.
Ayeka smiled, mirth in her eyes.
"Ah hem." Asuza cleared his throat, silencing the room once again as the trio gave him their full attention.
"Ayeka tells me you're from Earth. Where exactly on the Earth?" He asked them, arching his eyebrow.
Ayeka gasped. She had not expected him to ask that, after all he only told her he wanted to meet them.
Wufei looked the Emperor in the eye and answered his question.
"Technically we are from Earth, but Earth established Colonies in space one hundred years ago, and I was born on the L5 Colony, and Duo here is from the L2 Colony."
"Colonies?" Asuza frowned. "Earth does not have any colonies that I'm aware of."
Wufei raised his eyebrows in confusion.
Asuza waved it off. "Ayeka."
"Yes father." She asked.
"I'd like you to contact Washu about this. She may be the only one who can figure this out, after all, she was the one who gave you that darn contraption."
"Yes father." Ayeka agreed, bowing.
Asuza nodded. "I have other important matters to tend to. Please enjoy yourselves while on Jurai young men." He said then left the throne room with Fanaho and Misaki.
Once both Gundam Pilots were in their rooms, Ayeka made her way to the communications room. She sent a message to Washu's main computer, telling her she needed to come to Jurai immediately.
"That should do it." Ayeka said to herself then left the room.
Washu was typing away on her computer, as usual, when she received Ayeka's message.
"Hmmm……..Ayeka needs me on Jurai eh." She said out loud then typed her response.
Ayeka sat in her private tearoom, sipping her tea when she heard someone knock on the door.
"Come in." She said.
Osaka entered the room. "Princess, Washu said for us to tell you that she is coming in one month."
"One month?" Ayeka raised her eyebrows.
Osaka nodded. "She said she working on something at the moment."
Ayeka shrugged. "Typical." She smiled, and took another sip of her tea.
