Anime Look Alikes

Ever seen an Anime character and you wondered "hmmm... I've seen him/her before" and after a very very long while, you finally figure out that he/she looks exactly like a character from another Anime. Well... this is site is dedicated to the wonderful world of Anime Look-alikes.

Note: Sorry but the writing has to be small so that the pic and the writing fit on a 800 x 600 screen... you just have to squint a little... :p

Finally, there are some suggestions for Anime Look-alike. Please do send me an e-mail if you do have some more suggestions okay??:

Males

	Trowa (Gundam W) and Yang (Street Fighter) Don't they look so much alike... I mean they both have that same hairstyle (the poking out fringe) and the same hair colour, the same quietness and coolness. So not only do they look alike, they act (kinda) alike too. I mean Yang is so quiet and not as emotional as his brother (Yun) and Trowa is pretty much non-emotional (is that such a word?) as well...
	Mewto (Pokemon) and Freeza (Dragonball Z) See, told ya I was very press for ideas. Anyway, I was watching the Freeza Saga when I realize the resemblence between these two "critters" (just kidding). I mean, they both whittish, no hair, ovalish kinda head and they both have a tail... and they are both the bad guys in the Anime so that they definitely have something in common. OKAY, I KNOW IT'S LAME BUT I NEEDED SOMETHING TO FILL IN THE BLANK.
	Goku (Dragonball) and Ash (Pokemon) Well, when I first saw Pokemon, I thought it was Dragonball (okay, I admit it was when I haven't seen neither of the two series) because Ash looks so much like Goku. They both have black spiky hair (when Ash doesn't wear a hat it's more obvious)... anyway, I thought they resemble each other in a very small way.
	Mirai Trunks (Dragonball Z) and James (Pokemon) Ahhh.... being hit several times by stones being thrown at me by Trunk's fans Okay, I know it's getting lamer but you have to admit, these two guys resemble each other a little tiny bit. They both have purple hair, and purple hair and purple hair... okay, I ran out of ideas so please do send some Anime look-alikes characters in to me soon before it gets any worse. 	Goku (Dragonball Z) and Chrono (Chrono Trigger) The reason Goku and Chrono look so much alike is they have the same character designer. Hmm.. that would explain why physically they look so much alike... the hair, the eyes, except Chrono is 'probably' smarter than Goku (I'll be damn if he isn't) not to mention he has a cool sword!!! :p Look alike suggested by "Jao"
	Tenchi (Tenchi Muyo) and Brock (Pokemon) Ok they both have the short spiky hair... just they are on different sides when it comes to women. Brock chases them, Tenchi runs from them. Okay, physical they may look alike (mainly the hair, and maybe the eyes if Brock open them once in a while) but they're quite different in terms of personality. And it's ironically hilarious that Tenchi has too many women on his hands while Brock wants lots of women but have none ^-^ Just thought that was an interesting point to note. 	Iori (King of Fighters) and Aya (Weiss Kreuz) Before I saw Weiss Kreuz, I came across Aya's pic and I thought "hey, he looks like Iori". Now that I have seen Weiss Kreuz (part of it anyway ^-^), they're not only similar physically, they're also have some similar personality traits. First off, their voice is about the same (that deep and husky voice swoon), they keep to themselves PLUS they're both killing machines...
	Touya (Card Captor Sakura) and Lantis (Magic Knight Rayearth 2) Okay, I know they both by CLAMP but you have to admit they do look similar. Sorry, I couldn't get any better pics than this but if you have better pics, just send them it ^-^. Anyway, back to the look-alikes. They have the same hair, the same eyes... personality wise... but quite sure about that. Touya is probably the more 'normal' guy out of these two. Lantis is way WAY more serious than Touya and is probably more mature too. Thanks to "ChibaUsa" for suggesting these two look-alikes ^-^
	Dr. Ogami (Amazing Nurse Nanako) and Nakago (Fushigi Yuugi) THE HAIR!!! Just look at their hair.... well, since I haven't seen Amazing Nurse Nanako so I don't know much about Ogami's personality but he sure looks a lot like Nakago (especially the hair). Ogami looks like Nakago reincarnate into our modern world. Just get Nakago into a trench coat thingyamob, slap on a pair of specs and tada... you get Ogami. Just an interesting and meaningless observation, don't ya think that Nanako looks a bit like Miaka?? Anyway, as I said, meaningless... This pair of anime look-alikes kindly suggested by "Savannah"
	Matt (Digimon) and Cloud (Final Fantasy 7) WWWAAAIIITTT!!! Before you totally dismiss the idea of these two being look alikes just give me a chance to explain myself. Okay, I admit that these two don't that much alike but Matt actually looks alot like the younger Cloud (yes, remember all the flashbacks in FF7??). They're both blonde (I think) and Matt has spikey hair aswell (okay, admittedly not as spikey as Cloud's but whose is?). I reckon Matt is a cartoon version of Cloud. Anyway, just something interest to note; Cloud looks alot like the main character from Bouncer (but then again, they were both made by Square Soft (or is it Soft Square??) Thanks to 'Night-Stalker-Yuffie' for this pair of look alikes.
	Kyosuke (KOR) and Ranma (Ranma 1/2) Hmm... yeah, they do look alike. Ignore the girl Ranma in the right picture (I'm too lazy to trim the picture)... Both Kyosuke and Ranma's hairstyle are similar (although Ranma has a extra piggy tail at the back) and they both have the same roundish kinda eyes ^-^. Not to mention they both exprience major girl problems. Actually, the Ranma in the earlier episodes of the TV series look ALOT like Kyosuke. Look alikes suggested by 'John Son'. Arrigato ^-^
	Vincent Valentine (FF7) and Gilgamesh (FF8) Hehe... actually, when I thought up these pair of lookalikes I was cracking up pretty badly. Honestly, they do look alike. They both have the same haunted look and have this thing with red cape with their collars pulled up real high. And I know that they're both in the same game series but I thought that their resemblances is so humourous that I have to add them here (okay, maybe not but I thought so ^-^).
	Raijin (FF8) and Gara (Bastard) Okay... first off, I can't find a good picture of Raijin so the pic on the left would have to do for now...Raijin and Gara kinda does resemble each other. First, their hairstyle is the same. Second, they physique is about the same too. Okay, I admit that their personality kinda clash but in some certain ways they resemble each other... like they can be both kinda stupid at times...
	Gene (Outlaw Star) and Heero (Gundam W) I haven't seen Outlaw Star so I wouldn't know too much about Gene. Hmm... I'm kinda mixed up on how I feel about these two lookalikes... In so many ways, Gene and Heero looks so different but I can so picture Gene as an older version of Heero and then I'm thinking 'hmm... they do look alike' AND THEN I notice that Gene's hair and eye colour is different from Heero's then I start the whole cycle again... sigh. 	Yamato"Matt" Ishida (Digimon) and Ghinius Sakhalin (Gundam the 08th M.s. team) Well its obvious that there hair is almost identical in every way and they both have blue eyes. Also they are both kind of loners and they both have younger siblings. The are also adored by girls^-^. Suggestion, comments of Lookalike and Ghinius pic from "Android Raptor"
	Kuroro (Hunter x Hunter) and Kyo (KOF) Okay, I know Kuroro doesn't usually look like the picture on the left but when we first meet Kuroro, we see him as his gorgeous guy with a bandana and immediately I thought that he looks like Kyo. Don't you think so?? Anyway, their hairstyle is exactly the same and their facial features is about the same.
	Kazuya (Tekken Movie) and Vegeta (DBZ) Kazuya and Vegeta have the same hairstyle, the really spiking up black hair. Sorry, couldn't find a decent picture of Kazuya so this black and white would have to do... although they do resemble each other the the pictures, ne?? Their build is also similar although Vegeta is probably a lot shorter than Kazuya. Personality wise, they're probably slightly similar too except Kazuya started out as a good guy and kind of went evil while Vegeta started off being a bad guy and went good... This pair of look-alikes was kindly suggest by "Aya S" (sorry took so long to get posted up)
	Kurama (YuYu Hakusho) and Kenshin (Rurouni Kenshin) new Yeah, they do look alike. The same long firy red hair. Although I must say their personality kinda clash, but hey, remember, this is a LOOK-ALIKE, and not a personality-alike (okay, I have officially lost it, definitely been spending too many hours updating). And when Kenshin is not in his oro-mode (meaning swirly eyes and the lot), his kind of looks like Suuichi (aka. Kurama). Thanks to ice_koorime for the suggestion of this pair of look alikes.
	Hiei (YuYu Hakusho) and Yahiko (Rurouni Kenshin) new Yeah, I can definitely see the resemblence. First off, they have the same hairdo, spiky and black, although Hiei seems to have something funky going with his fringe but hey, it's about the same. Not to mention their physique (talking about the older Yahiko now) is about the same. But their personality do clash. Hiei is probably more introvert while Yahiko is brash and irrational at times (yeah, like rushing into fights even though he can't win). Thanks to ice_koorime for the suggestion of this pair of look alikes.
	Chrno (Chrono Crusade) and Vincent (FF7) new They so do look alike!!! I mean come on, Chrno is just the miniature version of Vincent. It's like someone blast Vincent with a 'shrink' gun or something and the result is Chrno, a mini-Vincent. First off, they have the same hair, long and black. And then the whole bandana thing... and what's more, they even wear the same clothes, red cloak with buckles at the collar. Admittedly, their personality aren't similar, Chrno is more childlike and innocent while Vincent is all depressed and gothic-like which is ironic since Chrno is the demon while Vincent is technically human.

Females

	Yui (Fushigi Yuugi) and Haruka aka. Sailor Uranus (Sailor Moon) OH MY GOSH!!! They do look alike... hmm... why didn't I see it before??? IT'S THE HAIR I TELL YA!! They are both blonde, have the same hairstyle.. blah blah. Actually here in Australia, we never got any further than the Negamoon season, thus I don't know what Haruka is like but she sure does look like Yui... they're like twins who got separated at birth!!! Look alike suggested by "Jao"
	Miaka (Fushigi Yuugi) and Lady Une (Gundam W) If you compare their personalities, they are very different, perhaps even exact opposite but physically they do look a little bit like each other (especially the hair). In Lady Une's pic on the right, you can't really see her hair but she usually has her hair tied in two buns just like Miaka :) So.. if Miaka would close her mouth more often and put glasses on her... tada!! you get Lady Une (okay, I'm going crazy) Look alike suggested by "Jao"
	Hikaru (Magic Knight Rayearth) and Ranma (Ranma 1/2) They both have red hair tied back in a plait, they are about the same height and they both can fight (although some might not agree)... In behavior wise, they both really stubborn and won't give up until they win. Wouldn't do anything if it meant someone getting hurt. And they both seems to have cat ears now and then... (anyway, what's up with the cat thingy??)
	Belldandy (Ah My Goddess) and Narusakawa (Love Hina) Okay, this is going to sound really REALLY stupid but the thing I found these two most similar in is the two antenna hair sticking out from their heads ^-^. A pointless observation, I know, but it's distinctive you have to admit. Anyway, besides the hair thingy, these two does look alike in many ways. Actually, I found Love Hina and Ah My Goddess quite similar. There are actually a lot of characters that seems quite similar in these two Anime; e.g. Keitaro and Keiichi, Urn and the short blonde haired girl who's in the pic on the right (forgot her name gomenasai). Okay, back to Belldandy and Naru. Besides looking alike, Naru and Belldandy are very different in personality. Naru is a violent and aggressive girl while Belldandy is gentle as a dove. But they do both do have that determined spirit .
	Mimi (Digimon) and Aeris (Final Fantasy 7) Hehe... when 'night-stalker-yuffie' mentioned that these two look alike, I'm thinking "hmm... come to think of it... they do!" They're both have this thing with the colour pink and even their sense of fashion are similar (the skirt and they're both pink). Not to mention the hair, the whole fringe thing. Mimi looks like a younger version of Aeris. Personality wise, they're slightly different but I can draw some parallels between them. Looks alike suggested by 'Night-Stalker-Yuffie'
	Merle (Vision of Escaflowne) and Kizna (Megami Kouhosei) These two's resemblance to each other is undeniable... in everyway possible (physically), they look exactly like each other. I mean, they both have pink hair and not to mention they both have the same hair style. And the most obvious trait that these two resembles each other is their kitty ears meow... even their personality is similar as they're both aggressive though Merle is probably a lot more childish.
