Ah... Sailor Cosmos... who is this mysterious figure seen only in the manga?

SOME people think she is Usagi's second child. (Sorry folks... one kid per millennium.)

SOME people think she is Chibi-Usa's kid. (Wrong again, she's only like, 8)

SOME just say she is ChibiChibi's ultimate form. (Yea.... NO.)


In the SailorStars series of the Sailormoon mangas a small girl with heart-shaped odangoes came to our beloved Usagi after Mamoru's starseed was taken by Galaxia. The girls name: ChibiChibi. ChibiChibi comforted Usagi in her time of depression. (I mean, with that adorable kid who wouldn't feel just a bit happier? OH WAIT. I KNOW. My English teacher... anywho...) HO HAH. Little did they know ChibiChibi can transform into Sailor ChibiChibi. (Sailor Adorable? Yes I think so!)This whole time Usagi and Chibi-Usa wonder who she is? The ideas of Chibi-usa's daughter and Usagi's second daughter were brought up, but never proven. In volume 18 ChibiChibi turns to Eternal Sailor Moon, kisses her, and transforms into Sailor Cosmos. The Asteroid Senshi wonder who this is. Finally one of them has the bright idea, "Could this be Sailor Moon's final incarnation??" WHY YES IT COULD.

Sailor Cosmos explains to Usagi that in her own time (Sailor Moon's future) she is faced with only wars and destruction because of a horrid mistake in her past. "I have come to choose the right path this time" (-Sailor Cosmos) Choose the right path? What? Pardon? Should I read this act again?! No, no.... ::smiles:: When Sailor Cosmos was in Eternal Sailor Moon's shoes now (facing the galaxy cauldron) she ran from the troubles and let Chaos reign in the cauldron. This would prove that later on an ultimate evil will appear. Mistake? Yes! Sailor Cosmos came to Eternal Sailor Moon to tell her to destroy the cauldron. Destroy the cauldron?! That would mean life would eventually stop being birthed! But-- if the world is end the wars will, too. And of course it is extremely possible a new cauldron will be born, right? Eternal Sailor Moon dove into the cauldron and Sailor Cosmos sent the Asteroid Senshi's seeds into the cauldron. Not even Eternal Sailor Moon could destroy the cauldron, but Chaos (the unborn star) was broken down into miniscule pieces (miniscule? probably spelled that one wrong, too). Now you see ::trumpets blare:: the ultimate evil will not be born! (good 'nuff reason to throw a party, I'd say). Usagi wakes up to a familiar smell and feeling in a cloudy place... surrounded by her friends! She is greeted by a small figure, Guardian Cosmos, the guardian of the cauldron.

"Do you want to continue in these lives?"
"Yes of course! No matter how hard it is we want to continue this life!" (-Guardian Cosmos and Usagi)


So several SEVERAL years later Usagi and Mamoru wake up in bed (all nakie) and she begs him to say the words he said so many times before...
"Marry me, Usa" (::sniffles:: pass the tissues. NO WAIT! I FORGOT! MAMO-CHAN IS MINE.)

The story ends after a beautiful wedding and a short speech from Mamoru...
"Say... Until our duties end someday, will we always protect this planet together..."
"We will," says Mamoru. "Of course we will."
"Will we always live together?"
"I promise. We will always be together."
They kiss.
"I promise too" she thinks. "I will always protect you."
She runs outside.
"And I will always protect our precious friends."
She joins the other girls.
"Mamo-chan!" she calls.
Mamoru looks at her in the sunlight.
"Someday we will be gone," he thinks. "New sailor soldiers, new stars will be born... But Sailor Moon, you will forever be immortal. For all eternity, you will be the most beautiful, brilliant light."
