About stephanie and our story:
stephanie is a 15 year old girl in her last year of junior high. she has short brown hair and resembles hitomi. she enjoys watching anime and gets lost in the plots. she acts a little like a cross between misty (pokemon) and akane (ranma 1/2) she has a strong attitude and is verry much like a boy. she enjoys hunting and fishing. she likes martial arts and enjoys fencing. she is better than most boys she knows at things boys do. but she is also very femanin and enjoys acting, sining, dancing, swimming, and skating. in our story she gets transported to Gaea where she meets Fiore. the son of von Fanel and hitomi fanel. if you'd like to hear all about there adventures.. Chapter 1 THE BEACH
i had just gotten back from seeing the new leo flick, the beach. now i had a craving to go to the beach!!! and it was january. oh well. i was wearing an old pair of flare jeans, and blue tank top, and my moon pendent. my moon pendent is really cool. it looks like one big diamond but it's not. when the light shines threw it it makes rainbows wear ever i walk. there were no rainbows now. it was too dark. infact it was getting close to 9. and the moon was shining brightly. i removed my snekers and held them in my arms. sure... it was January... and there was snow out... but i loved the ocean. i walked along the parts of sand with no snow. it really wasnt that cold. i guess sand constricts heat. oh well, as soon as the snow goes i'll be wearing my bare feet everywhere. i hate shoes. shoes suck! i picked up a smooth pebble and tossed it into the ocean. far off in the distance i heard a wolf howl. i smiled too myself. i sat down thinking about the dream i had. sometimes parts of my dreams come true. like say in my dream i lived on a mountain... i walk around the corner and see a store. the next day... or it could be a week later i see the store... looking the same way it did in my dream. that's it. nothing big like being able to predict the future. my grandpa says he's like that. i pulled my cd player out and started listning to the radio. a really pretty song came on. Angel by Sarah Maglachlian. not that i like her or anything. i like all music. music expressess what words cant. i sat back. the song made me think more of that dream. i'm standing at the school dance... and a boy comes up to me. i don't know who he is... and i can't see his face. a song is playing. iris by the goo goo dolls. he asks me to dance and i except. i guess its the prom or something cauz i'm wearing a dress. or maybeit's one of thes dancing contests i watch on tv and always want to particiapte in. that must be it. the floor melts away and we are dancing in the night sky. i see all the stars. suddenly wings shoot from his back and he kisses me. pretty weird eh? (yes i am canadian!!!) i guess i've been watching too much of that new anime show escaflowne. i let out a sigh. suddenly something cathes my attention from the corner of my eye. i see a pilar of light.
CHAPTER 2 TO GAEA WE GO
i stood up brushing the sand of my pants. a started to walk over... then found myself running. what was that?? as i get closer i am right. it is a pillar of light. i am standing about a few feet away from it. but soon i am bathed in it's light! (does this sound like a diary or what?) i feel myself floating. i shrug. this is probally one of my stupid dreams. so i pinch my self. ^^; i relize it's not a dream... and lets just say i freak.
i struggled to sit up. a pair of dark brown eyes meet mine. "wahhh!!!!" i cried jumping back. a boy stared at me. i looked around. i was in some sort of forest... it was beautiul. the boy stood up and rubbed his head. he had black hair and brown eyes. he was dressed in a blue shirt with red pants. he had a sword by his side. he sort of looked like lee, a guy from this show i saw... card captors. but he looked older. he started walking towards me. i jumped up. "stay back!" i yelled he looked at me curiously. he kept walking. "grr... don't make me hurt you!" i lept up on a log trying to hold my balance. i finaly do and look behind me to see a small stream. "i'm warning you little boy." he laughed and kept coming. he came closer and i lost my balance falling fournantly on the only part of my body with air bags. but did i mention in the river.? he laughed and held out a hand. i took it. he helped me up still laughing. "whats so funny!?" i cried holding up my fists. "where am i? did you bring me here?!" he still laughed. "you wanna fight!?" he laughed more. "i'm sorry... i just don't think i ever saw a boy with such silly clothes and such a poor attitude. nor one with a neeckless!" i turned verry red. i was about to pound him when i heard a new voice. "Fiore, That is a lady..." i frowned. "yeah whats wrong with you haven't you seen a girl before!" i looked to see who had come and atablished i was girl. maybe he could use a smack. my jaw dropped when i saw the man standing their with golden yellow hair. "oh.. my.. gosh!" my eyes grew big. "allen!!! are you allen! allen shezar!!!! from escaflowne!!! i'm your biggest fan!!!" i grabbed onto his arm. he sweat dropped. "i'm afraid i don't understand. yes my name is allen... but i am not from escaflowne. i live in fanalia." my eyes grew even more bigger. "fanalia? was it rebuitl!! wow! that means Lord von and Mearl!!!! what about hitomi and falcon and ... oh wow! can i have you autograph?!" i searched my pockets for a pen. "..." "um... how do you kjnow of the king of fanalia.." i laughed. "don't be silly Allen i watch your show every Monday at 8:30. oh by the way, the whole malerna thing. you 2 do make a better couple!" "..." the boy jumped up and pointed a sword at me. "she is a witch" i laughed. "funny!" and picked up a stick, sending his sword flying. i mean come one... just a prop right? the boy looked at his hand in disbelief. "you are no women. you speak of us as if you know us. you are a witch. no women could knock a sword from my hand!" i sweat dropped. "yeah o-k... newayz how about that autograph???" Allen too was amazed. "uh.. where did you say your from lady..." i blushed. "oh how foolish of me!" i stuck out a hand. "my name is stephanie and i'm from earth... re uh.. the mystic moon!" the boy fell down. Allens eyes widend. "your from... The Mystic moon...? but the only one from there is hitomi and her grandmother." i smiled. "yeah how about hitomi? did she ever come back and Marry von like in all thoes fanfics?" the little boy shoved Allen a side. "yes he did." he said. i blinked. "really? well who r u? i dont think i ever saw you in the show before..." he frowned. "show? what the heck is a show?" i smiled. "right... dunt wanna slip out of character.. newayz who r u?" he smiled. "i am prince Fiore of fanalia." i smiled. "really so that means Von is married. to whom?" he placed his hands across his chest. "lady hitomi." said Allen "really? i alwayz knew they were destined... oh by the way how is your sister?" allens eyes widened more. "how.. much exactly do you know about.. us?" i smiled and spewed out every single episode of escaflowne. then the movie. "so tell me are the melephs really big?" allen blinked. then he bent down and kissed my hand. "lady Stephanie... if you please... i wish for you to accompany us to see lady hitomi. Maybe she can figure this out." i jumped up. "you mean Von and hitomi? i get to meet Von and hitomi?!" fiore blushed. "sure is hyper..." and turned around. "sure is able to knock your block off!" allen laughed.
CHAPTER 3 YOUR BIGGEST FAN OR SHOULD I SAY VAN?
i stood infront of hitomi. i spewed out the whole thing about me getting here... and all about the escaflowne show. she smiled. "oh allen, (she said in that way she used too) Stepahnie means they made a production of our journeys." allen laughed. "really? that's wonderful... but does that mean others will come here too?" i shook my head. "nope, it's just something people watchh. they don't believe it's real. infact it's produced by some lady who's name has kansaki in it." Lady hitomi nodded. "yes... my mother. she told me that when i left... she would write a book all about our travels. i guess it was made into a tv show." Von stood up. "but that still does not explane how you were transported here." i sighed. "i dunno." i went over again how i got here. hitomi thought for a moment. "von.. may i speak to you in private...?" he nodded. "if you'll excuse us..." i nodded. they stood up and left the room.
we walked silently down the hall. "wow... this is just how i imagined it." fiore smiled. "oh really? then i suppose you know how to get to the library?" i blushed. "that depends if this new castle is built the same as the old one." fiore laughed. "i guess i cant trick you." i smiled. he looked kinda cute... for a boy. but i could still knock his block off. we entered the vast library. a tall cat women sat reading a book. a tall young man... about 16 or 17, with blond hair was also reading. they looked up. "honestly prince Sheid... i don't know how you put up with books." the young man laughed. "ahh fiore... this book is so intense.. not even you could read it." i spotted the title. "great expectations... what do you mean intense??? that's a beautiful love story!" i shouted forgetting my manners. Sheid smiled and winkeed. "percisliy" i laughed catching his joke. he walked across the room and kissed my hand. "and who art thow young maiden of yore?" i smiled. "wow... you were nothing like this when you were young... ruling a kingdom at only 5 years old..." shock filled his eyes. "and Mearl... you're not wearing your nail file!" this too caused some comotion. and of course fiore had to sit down and explane everything.
CHAPTER 4 YOU THINK I'M PRETTY...
it was a little later. i was in my room in the west wing. i had just finished saying my prayers and changed into pyjamas. i wasnt at all used to theas clothing... not by any means! but i guess fiore wasn't exactly used to seeing girls in jeans. just white dresses and blue satin sashes. oh well. i decided to work on a few of my kicks. i stood up and sterched out my body. then began to kick the air. i did this for 15 minutes then i grew tired. i deecided to go to the library. maybe there was a book i could read there. i lit a candel... and started on my way. i walked down the long hall way. the candel shot shadows on the wall. i walked past a sleeping Mearl. Who's bedroom door was wide open. why did she hang around when she knew von didn't love her??? i sighed and started on my way again. i came to the large library doors. i opened them softly with out making a cringe. i walked in and immediatly began looking at books. i saw so many familiar ones. the tell-a-tale heart. it. little women. pretty lady. the outsiders. so many to choose from. my eyes landed on one. an old book. i pulled it from it's place. it was a book teaching how to dance. really dance... like the waltz. it should proove good reading. i sat down and put the candel beside me. before i knew it i was standing out trying a few of the dance steps. "whats that? you think i'm pretty? why thankyou." i said to no one at all. "why of course... i'd love to dance with you." i put my arms around no one. "oops forgot to courtsey." and so i did. i began to dance around the room. no big deal. no one was around. besides... i'd never dance in public. i tried once... and was pretty bad. but this felt so cool. i danced around and around. humming to myselfe. then i stopped looking at my 'imaginary' partner. i blushed. oh how i'd love to have a boyfriend. all my friends have them. and i am reduced to fantasies and pretend people. oh well. so long as no one is around. i lent up... and kissed the air. i turned birght red when i saw fiore and cheid standing their holding candels. they blushed as well. "what are you doing here?" all 3 of us blurted out. "i..i.. was just.. reading when i got a pain in my neck.. so i.. decided to strech." fiore blushed. "uh... i am learning to read. cheid teaches me. but sometimes he reads to me at night." i smiled. "oh... really?" i pulled an odd book off the shelf trying to make my lie true. Cheid sat down. "can you read stephanie?" i nodded. "that's impressive. here only royalty read." i forwned. "where i come from... we all read. and there is no royality." i said using a pueartorican acent. they oubuisoly didnt get my joke. ^^; oh well. i sat down. "would you like to join us steaphanie?" asked cheid looking at me with his blue eyes. he realy was cute. i blushed. "i'd love too." we sat down. fiore smiled. "pretty bad.. i'm nearing my16th birthhday... and i still can't read." cheid laughed. "take it easy. i'm only 16... and i'm teaching someone." i laughed as cheid began to read the tale. about an hour had gone by and he just finished the tale. "and poor ichabod... was never seen again. neither the headless horsemen. but the story is still told around many a harvest moon. and they say.. on the eve of that night. you can still hear the hooves... and ichabods cries for help." he shut the book. "you scared stephanie?" asked fiore getting closer to me to scare me. i laughed. "ha! i''ve heard the ledgend of sleepy hollow a thousand times. that's not scary. you want somthing scary?! you should see scream 1, 2, and 3. " they blinked. i sweat dropped. "oh right... the tv thing." cheid smiled with thoes lovable eyes. "what book do you have?" i blushed totaly forgeting about it. i looked down praying it wasnt someting about reproduction of ants. (lol^^;)
"romeo and julliet" Cheids eyes widend. "really? i read that. you should read it to fiore somwetime. that is if he can handle a mushy romance." fiore fell holding his chest. "blahh..." i stood up. "romance? it's all about war riore. and betrayel! and killing! and poison! indded deserves to be rated r!" firoe laughed. "yes... you must tell it to me." i laughed. "maybe tomorow night." he smiled. yeah.. he was cute. i'll give you that. but i was a little more interested in cheid. (oh.. uh.. pronounced sheid) i yawned. "i think i should be getting to bed." said cheid yawning as well. "you don't stay up too late you here?" i laughed as he left.
CHAPTER 5 A MIDNIGHT FLIGHT
"ha1 bed? now? no way! i'm gonna go for a fly." i blinked at fiores words. fly? wait. it had not hit me! Firoe and von... "you have wings! i totally forgot!!!" he blinked. "huh? yeah! all us draconians have wings." i smiled. "can i see them!? wings are so cool! i wish i had wings!" he lughed and pulled off his shirt. the wings shot from his back. i lept with joy. "can i touch them?" he blushed. "ifyou want to." i reached out. "so soft.. like an angels." he smiled. "wow... i'd give anything for wings. you always fly?" he laughed. "when my dads not around. there are still people who fear draconians. so i fly at night." i smiled. "i remember when your dad saved your mom... she thought he was an angel." fiore blinked. "you mean my dad was a good boy?" i laughed. (^^; can you say lame joke?) i stood in the library window. "wow.. i'd love to fly. i hate airplanes though. but to have wings. your so lucky." he laughed and flew around the room. "not really. you wanna fly with me?" i blinked. "i think you misheard me.. i don't have wings!" he laughed. "no silly... i mean can i take you with me when i fly?" i smiled. "really? you wont drop me...?" he smiled and fleew down. he held me up. "promise." i held onto him. "o-k!" he laughed and burst threw the windows. i let out a scream as my night dress flew around me. then i laughed verry hard. "wow!" my eyes grew big as he did a loop da loop. "this is so cool!" he laughed. "i'll make you a deal, if you read me that book... everynight. i'll fly you everynight!" i blinked. "romeo and julliet?" he laughed. "yeah, but tell anyone and i'll have to beat you up." he winked. "o-k. sure. but i could hit you 5 times before you hit the ground." he laughed. "i'd like to see that. ang on..." another flip. "ahh!" i grabbed onto him. "your doing that just so i hang onto you." he laughed and let go of me. i started to fall down towards the water. "ahh!! o-k! i take it back! i take it back!" he fleew down and grabed me just as my toes touched the water. i smiled. "wow! you scared me... but even if i landed in the water i can swim." he blinked. "swim? you swim in the water?" i laughed. "well what else would you do in it." he looked away towards the castle. "i swim in ponds... never in the ocean. theres this really big fish out there that is always jumpin outta the water and making weird sounds." i smiled. "really? i'll have to see this.. 'fish' i specialize in that you know." he blinked. "in what?" "in marine biology." he blinked again. even more confused. i just laughed somemoe. "nevver mind." he flew me around and then put me down on my balconey. "wow... that was unreal. thankyou. lot." he smiled. "yeah, your welcome." he blushed. "i'm not used to beeing thanked." i laughed. "er... uh... you wanna come in?" he nodded. "sure why not?" we talked for a little wial. then the subject of Ziabach came up. "my dad and mom fought in that war you know." i nodded. "and allen. grr... if i had been there i would have not taken any of the melph crap from Falcon. i'd take him on my self. i mean he couldn't defeat a lowsy dragon... no odds he could beat me." Fiore laughed. "you've got a lot of spunk." i started punching the air. "you got that right. " he laughed. "uh sorry about earlier..." i looked up. "well... about thinking you were a girl." i threw a punch at him, delibertly missing. "that's o-k happens all the time. not many girls do what i do. must have been the jeans and the hair cut." he blushed. "if you don't mind me saying so... you people from the mystic moon sure do have weird clothing." i laughed. "you know they say the same thing about your mother." he laughed. "i would like to see the escaflowne sometime. it looked so magnifacint on tv. i wonder what it was like for von to control it." i pulled my pendent off spinning it around like num chucks. it sent little moon beams around the room shaped like rainbows. "that's really pretty." i loked up as fiore reached out to touch my pendent. a great light blinded him. i blushed. "sorry, i don't know why it does that. everytime someone tries to touch it other than me it does that." Fiore thought. "prehaps you are cursed... so that no man can touch you." i looked up. "nah, if thatw ere true i couldn't do this." i reached out and pinched him. he yelped. i laughed. "o-k good point."
hitomi and von stood in the window. they had seen Fiore put tht girl on the balconey. hitomi found it so hard to believe that she had been here 15 years. almost 16. (o_k i know that dont quite add up with the cheid thing... but go with it k?) she concevied Fiore the night she told Von she was staying for good. sure she was only 15... but it didn't matter. she was with the one she loved. poor mearl. she stayed. she became Fiores godmother. he loved her so. an yet this girl. stephanie. reminded her... of herself. (yeah i guess i jumped from view to view there ^^;) everytime she looked at the girl she got a vibe. not good... not bad. she even had a vision. where she was glowing. Von smiled. "what's wrong?" hitomi looked up. "oh.. i.. nothing. i just think i'm tired." Von smiled and kissed her. "have i ever told you how glad i am you came back to me? this stephanie girl is bringing back memories." hitomi smiled looking up at von. "yes. and since i've had fiore that's all you say now adays." von laughed and Kissed her again.
CHAPTER 6 LESSONS ARE TO BE LEARNED... NOT BE EATEN
i sat by a cherry tree watching Allen teaching fiore how to shoot an arrow. he was trying to hit an apple off a near by tree. poor Fiore was having no luck at all. little cherry blossoms fell around me. i looked around at the castle. it looked so good since Von rebuilded it. i sighed. "o-k Allen. lemme show you how it's done." i hopped up and snatched the bow and arrow from Fiore. i let an arrow fly. it struck the stem of the apple. as quick as i could i set out 2 more. one cut the apple in halph... the other pierced threw the halphs making it look like chicabob. Fiores mouth dropped. Allen clapped. "well done lady Stephanie." i smiled and pulled the arrow from the tree it stuck. then i bit a piece of the apple. fiore held out a sword. "right now?" i asked. he nodded. "proove to me that women are worthy to fight." i sighed. "now... i have to agree with fiore... women have no place in the battle field." i shot allen a look. "where i come from. men and women can do everything the same." i picked up a sword. "your on." fiore charged and i easily blocked him. he tried to slice, again and again. but time after time all i had to do was hold my sword up and block him. he was starting to sweat. he was getting tired and clumbsy. i tossed his sword aside using my own. he fell down breathing hard. "your just like von. you use anger to fueal you. you go to quick and make too many mistakes." he sighed. "o-k. o-k, but that was a dirty trick." i laughed. "yeah, that was dirty." i held out my hand. he took it and i helped him up. "i am very impressed stephanie. are all girls from the mystic moon like you?" i blushed looking up at Allen. "nah! i'm the only one! they all wanna play princess!" they laughed. "why don't you 2 show me the beach?" Allen and fiore grew silent. "there is a creature there... it's a giant fish. we can hear it's evil laughter." i raised an eyebrow, "that's what i want to see. back home i study marine Biology. i should be able to tell you what it is." allen sighed. "o-k..." no quicker than he said that i started taking off my clothes. Allen and Fiore blushed and covered their eyes. "stephanie that is higly inapropret." i laughed. "you can open your eyes... it's just my bathing suit." they did. i was wearing my 2 piece blue bathing suit. it was a bikkini but not a really revealing one. Fiore gulped. "do all earth girls swim in their underwear?" he asked blushing. that did it. i broke into giggles. "no.. it's called a bathing suit. trust me." he blushed. "if you say so." i jumped up. "lead the way to the ocean!"
CHAPTER 7 THIS YOU WOULD LIKE
i stood on the sand. it felt so nice between my toes. so warm. i looked around. "wow... this looks like a beach from the earth." i dove in. fiore gasped. (allen had gone to talk with von) i went under a few times. "no sign of any 'big fish'!" and then i heard it. it sounded like clicking. but high pitched. almost like laughter. i saw a dark sillouet. "stephanie get out of there!" cried Fiore. i started swimming towards him. the sillouet grew big. not to big. about a little biggger than me. wait. i knew that shape. it wasnt a giant fish... it was a.. "A DOLPHIN! FIORE IT'S A DOLPHIN!" the dolhpin lept into the air, then swam around my body laughing. (in that cute way dolphins do) "is it a good creature?" i looked at him with tears in my eyes. "good? it's from the mystic moon. it wont hurt you i promise." my tears grew heavier as it swam close to me. grinning in that cute way. it motioned for me to touch it. i reached out a hand. as i did... my tears fell down. "stephanie... why do you cry? did it hurt you?" i looked up at him. "oh fiore... my whole life. all i've ever wanted to do... was swim with a dolphin." as i swam along side the dolphin.. stroaking it's belly, i told Fiore all that i knew of them. he smiled. "can i... can i come in?" i looked up. "of course.! this... this you would like!" He pulled off his shirt. and slowly stepped into the water. the dolphin jumped and chatted with us. i smiled as Fiore swam next to me. "are you sure it wont hurt me?" i smiled at him. "i promise... but i can't understand how one got here..." the dolhping pushed up against fiore. he laughed. "you'r pretty playful arnt you." it squrted water a him. i smiled. he looked at me. "this means alot to you... dosent it?" i nodded. "my whole life... has been waiting for this moment." i lept up and hugged fiore. "forgive me... but i'm so happy i have to hug someone." he smiled and hugged me back. all of a sudden we felt the dolphins dorsal fin between our arms. the dolphin took off and we were holding onto it! "this is it! i'm actually swimming with a dolhpin!" he lept in the air. i laughed shrill and high. "wow." more tears. fiore let out a whoop. "this is soo cool!" he petted the dolphins head.
CHAPTER 8 fiore oh fiore where art though shall fiore?
i looked down. romeo and julliet. i smiled. "you really want me to read this to you?" he nodded. "please... and in return i shall fly you... be your wings." i smiled remembering my fav movie thumbelina. "o-k..." i began to read. by the time the sun began to fall we had read 6 scenes. and it was getting late. "jullete ran to her room and wept." i closed the book. "that's all for now." he looked up. "wow... you were right. i don't usually get lost in books like that. but poor romeo and julliet. why couldn't their parents just let them be?" i sighed. "love can be crueal..." Fiore looked up at me. "you talk as if it's been an expierence." i laughed. "nah.. too mee lkove is just scary. i'd rather stay out of the whole love thing. too mushy." fiore laughed. "i know what you mean. mearl is alwayz playing matchmaker with me and some girl from the town. i don't reallly see what the whole fuss is about. i mean i'm only 15." i smiled. i buttened up my shirt. i was getting cold. "c-mon lets go in."
after we ate dinner... Fiore told everyone about the beautiful blue dolphin. hitomi was delighted... but still puzzled at how a dolphin got here. Cheid smiled at me from across the table. i smiled back. we all talked for a while... and before long it was time for bed. "i am still trubled about zybach..." stated von. allen looked up. "don't worry Von. it's probally just some copycat villian. nothing to worry about," i studied the look in vons face. he had told us that a group of renegades had stolen some guymelephs and was running all over new fanalia totally trashing things. they called themselves Ziabach 2. "allens right. nothing to worry about lord Von. if this Ziabach was anything like the old one... they wouldn't waist their time trashing fanalia." von was speechless. then laughed. "come hitomi... let us retire." hitomi noded standing up. allen stood too. "i shall o check on the guards. mearl will you asist me in bringing the meals?" they left. Cheid stood up. "will you be o-k alone with Fiore Stephanie?" i nodded thinking of the flying we were to do. cheid smied. "umm... if you want... you can come have a chat with me sometime." i smiled. "yes... maybe i will." we stared at eachother for a minute. finnaly fiore grabbed my hand. "comon stef"
I had just awaken from a terrible dream. Fiore and i had gone flying for a wial... then i went to bed. i shiver thinking of the dream. in it i am fighting .. falcon. only he is huge. and i throw water at him. he burns fanalia... then i am in escaflowne. fighting heard... but loosing. Fiore is standing in between the battle... holding rainwater in his hand up to me. escaflownes hand reaches out to touch it... as id does... the rain, the energist, and my pendent glow brightly. after that i am sitting in a puddle crying. holding a rose. Fiore has died. i shake myself. "snap out of it stef" i smack my own face. i stood up. maybe i should talk to fiore. no... he wouldn't want me to wake him up. i sighed. across from my room was cheids... his door was ajar... and light flodded threw it. maybe i could talk to him...i gathered up my courage and knocked on the door. cheid answered. "oh Stephanie , hello... you have been crying..." i looked up at him. it all burst out. he held me and led me to a chair. i sobbed inn his arms. "and it burned. just like it did before. i could smell the smoke. and falcon just kept laughing. and laughing." he touched my shin and whiped away a tear. "it's o-k... it was just a dream Stephanie. i wont let anyone hurt you... it's o-k." he cradled me in his arms. i just cried. i had to let it out. "i.. i'm sorry... i have alwways wanted to come here... i've always wanted to fly.. i've always wanted to swim with a dolphin..." cheid was confused. "and its all happened. my life is full! but yet thease tears still come at night. i mean i'm so lucky! why do i have to be cursed with such horrible dreams... when my life couldn't be.. more.. perfect..." he smiled. "don't worry stephanie. i won't lwt anything happen to you. you can even stay here with me tonight if you wish." i was silent... but i was still shaking. he just held me. i found myself listning to his heart beet. and his breathing. so rythmetic. i soon found myself asleep in his arms. we were sitting in the window. the kind that pop out over the house. he was asleep against the wall and the glass... and i was asleep in his arms. every little wial a shook violently. but he calmed me. little did i know fiore saw the whole thing...
CHAPTER 9 the secret
i had the dream every night. at one point i almost told Lady hitomi fearing it was a vision. that night i was afraid to go to sleep. i decided to walk by the water. i slid on a blue robe... no shoes. and walked out. i felt forever greatful to Cheid. for somforting me. Fiore was being really nice to me... and toning down a bit when we flew. he enjoyed our story sesions. but he couldn't get over the fact that romeo and julliet could not love each other in peace. i sighed walkng along the cool sand. i heard a flew splashes... then i saw our dolphin friend was beached. i let out a gasp.
CHAPTER 10 ziabach is back
Von trembled and dropped his sword. "a what?!" Allen looked up. "we saw a Ziabach floating fortress. the men and i spotted it early this morning." von gasped. "but... that can not be..." Fiore stood up. "it can..." Von fell limp. i stood up... odet was controling my body. my hair flew back. everyones eyes widend. instead of seeing me.. they now saw her. "river... godess..."
we had been flying for about an hour. "this isn't working!" cried Cheid. i sighed. "i'm sorry, i can't think of anyway to find it..."
somewhere on the floating fortress:
the small figur bowed. "i'm sorry m'lord... but the girl had power like no other." the tall dark figure looked into a crystal ball. "this i see... she is protected by the river spirit odet. curses. we must get her away from the young prince... or her power will come in full bloom. then my revenge will not be carried out." the figure stroak a rose. it's finger came across a thorn... and it bled. "yes m'lord. shall we send out troopers?" the dark figure laughed. "no young and simple minded one. i must watch her powers for a while. i think from how she used that pendent... that she does not know how to contorl her power. and with that alantian at her side.. there is no telling what could happen." the small guard bowed. "then you are not troubled she has the sword?" the figure cackled. "not in the least."
CHAPTER 11 the secret behind the sword
i nelt down and showed von the sword. "you should have seen it father! she sliced the clothes right off of 'em. oh it was priceless..." Fiore stopped when he saw the fear in his fathers eyes. Von reached out and touched the sword. "you a certin it was Zaibach?" cheid nodded. "they even had stelf cloaks..." all was silent. "it seems they are trying to repeat history..." he looked at the sword. he knew who's it was. he could tell by the dragon that surrounded the butt of it. (handel) "this is Falgus's sword..." allen was shocked. "but... but..." Von held it high. "it is a warning. like a death threat. what became of Falgus shall become of us..." Fiore looked at Cheid and wispered. "who's falgus?" i stood tall. "it wont happen again." mearl twitched at the deepness of my voice. "i wont let it happen again." everyone looked at me shocked. "i saw the way Fanalia burned. i saw how it crushed you von. i saw it in my dream... my vision. i am determined to not let that happen." more silence. i was loosing my patience. "you said that all things that came here from the mystic moon... have a desiny to fill. they are here for a reason. this is my reason!!!" mearl stood up... and started to clap. Fiore joined in... sooon everyone but Von was clapping. he looked at me. long and hard. and then he clapped. i smiled. "we must come up with a plan of attack... we should start preparing now my lord," said Allen. i agreed. "yes. it was only one fortress. but there could be more." he thought for a moment. "either way this is something we should take very seriously." Von whiped his brow. " why would someone want to attack us...? did ziabach not learn from their actions? we can not let this turn into war." Fiore stood up too. "i want to fight. i can't no, wont let anything happen to Stephanie." he looked into my eyes. Cheid stood next to us. "i to refuse to let anything happen to Stephanie... or Fiore for that matter." i looked at the two boys standing infront of me. they had just become men... i smiled. "just don't get in my way..." they laughed. Cheid reminded me so much of Allen... and Von so much of Fiore. i had forgoten that cheid was actually Allens son... i wondered if anyone else knew this...? "well then, it is agreed apon. we will all use gumeplhes. but Stephanie must use escaflowne. the river goddess had never steared us wrong. let the soldiers know what is to happen.... we need everyone alvialable to fight. we will be at the gates of the city on the 8th moon. nothing shall happen to Fanalia agian." hitomi smiled. "dismissed." said von.
CHAPTER 12 the battle bigins
i sat alone in my room.
In a little wial we were all standing in melephs. i don't think von was too happy abour me using his escaflowne. mearl tried to keep people in their homes.. and calmed. Hitomi provided a place for the homeless to go. we stood infront of 50 soldiers in melephs. to our surprise we saw the Fortress come. sure enough it was the same one we had seen. and it was only one. a person was beamed down. they wore a long cloak. "silence, hold your fire..." stated von. the person landed. they were very tall... and sleak. "lord Von i presume?" Von nodded. "i am he now who art.." "she..." the person inturrpted. silence. "i have not come for war... i have come for what is mine." more silence. "i was promised when Falcon ruled fanalia... and Gaea i would be at his side..." Von frowned. "oh yeah... and what position..?" the person removed thei cloak, revealing the statment, 'she' to be true. "a women!" shouted allen. she was a fair lady. she resembled that of Galaxia from sailormoon. "falcon and i were in love... but i was sent away as he claimed Gaea. now i see that he is fallen. and now i have come to claim it. take back what was his. and what shall soon be mine... i shall rule this kingdom... as queen Mina!" Fiore tried to hold back his laughter. knowing the lady was serious. "if you surrendor... i have possitions for you as slaves... if you fight.. i have positions for you in graves." Fiore wanted to yell out stop ryming. "what say he then?" she asked drawing her sword pointing it at Von. my blood ran cold. "i say... Never!" her smile never left. "charge..." she said with an evil laugh. thousands of guymelephs flew from the woods. we started to attack. i had full conrol of escaflowne... and iused it to my abbiliaties. i slashed one open. "VON! THEY ARE CONTROLLED THREW HER MIND! ONE SLICE AND THEIR GONE! DO NOT FEAR OF KILLING THEM... THEIR NOT REAL!" Von looked up. "o-k then!" he slashed his swrod across 5 at once. Allen dove into battle with a mighty yell. Cheid said sorry, and oops pardon me, after everyone he put down. Fiore just had a blast. i was hit on the face plate... and for a moment it went down. it wasn't long enough before mina saw me. "that girl... i know that face. the one whos destiny is blocked. NOW MEN! AFTER HER!" all the melephs turned and started coming after me. Oddet had been right so far. we were winning. at least i thought. they fought the melephs and kept them away from me. but mina chanted a few words and there were more. soon we began to grow tired... wich was just what mina wanted. Fiore was knocked to the ground. he fell from his meleph. a larger one loomed over him. ready to strike with it's sword. "NOOO!!!" i cried loud that everyone heard. esacflowne morphed into the dragon before i even knew it had. i lept off it to Fiore side who was starting to stand up. i helped him up. "FIORE BEHIND YOU!" crried von. we turned to seee another sword. "no! i won't let you hurt Fiore!!!" i put my hands across. the pendent began to glow. everyone including mina watched amazed. "nooo!!! i won't let it happen like my dream!" water gushed from my hands. the pressure was so intimadating it broke the energist of 3 melephs. thus i did it again. and again. my body glowing fearcly with every hit. Fiore became ingadged in a sword battle with mina. finnally my whole body shot water. it hit the melephs and sent them flying. Mina who was still in combat with fiore didn't notice. and didnt make new ones.
Chapter 13 the secret of the powers
this time men ran from the forest. we lept from our melephs and began sword to swrod combat. they were everywhere. i felt like jubilee from x men, a girl, little, and full of spunk. mina rose above us all saying a few magick word. Fiore fell limp to the ground. and held his chest. his heart began pumping fast. he cried out. "surrendor Von... or your son dies!"
"fiore!!!" cried.. everyone! ^^; "no!" i threw mina aside with a force i didn't know i had. she jabbed me in the back with her sword... now i was bleeding. i fell limp beside him. "you. the girl from the mystic moon... you shall die either way! i wont let your power destroy me..." i reached out to fiore he took my hand. "please fiore..." i said in gasps. "hold on..." he let out another shout. Mina had done something to his heart. "i want you to send the pain to me..." he looked at me with fear in his eyes. "do it. Fiore if you don't you'll die..." he touched my face, "if i do you'll die..." i shook my head. i knew i would. but i had to save him."no... i can convert it to positive energy... we can win. the powers the water goddess talked about.." my breat was short now. "was us... " he took both my hands. "were.. the only ones who can save this world..." he was in pain. he closed his eyes. my grip on him tightened. my breath was shorter and faster. his was long and shallow. everyone stopped fighting and looked at us. "stephanie don't you'll feel the pain too!" cried cheid. "i'd do anything for Fiore..." suddennly i felt the pain. i was agonizing. fiore felt it too. we began to glow. his wings shot out. "Fiore!" cried von. allen held him back. hitomi dropped to the floor. she had been watching from the castle window. she got to her knees and prayed... prayed that we would win. we were in intense pain now... we hovered in the air. not letting go. "weather you die or not girl, i shall kill fiore. take him away like von took falcon away. let go... and you wont die."
fiore opend his eyes."if i let go... you'll spare stephanies life and only kill me?" she nodded.
Epiloge (warning... if you don't like sad endings... don't read!!!)
i stood next to the beam of light. that would take me back to my world. i hugged everybody. even lord von and hitomi. last buy not least i passed fiore my pendent. "you'll have a little bit of me...now." tears covered his eyes. and he wrapped me in a hug then a kiss. tears were now in my eyes. "prehaps will meet again someday." hitomi smiled. "prehaps." i stepped into the light and Fiore took my hand. "i will always love you..." i almost laughed. because atv that exact moment i was singing i will always love you the sng from the bodyguard in my head. i smiled. "yes..." my body began to float highg but our hands still clasped. "and i will always love you... Fiore." with that i am pulled back to the mystic moon. Fiore looked at the pendent in his hands. there was a tiny inscription. he held it to his face, "tsukino hikariwa al no message... love is a message in the light of the moon...."
