Parenthood... Take 1

Tai: ah home at last *drops Yama's overnight bag onto floor as he closes the door behind Yama and Keeki*
Yama: Hai, it's nice to be back
Tai: Should we show our guest their room? *smiles jokingly*
Yama: Unless you call 18 years a visit... I wouldn't call her a guest
Tai: I wouldn't count on just 18 years. Come on *directs them towards the baby's room*
Yama: What do you mean? *enters the Keeki's room*
Tai: Well do you really think she'll move out when she's 18? I think she'll be staying a bit longer than that unless she goes away to College
Yama: You never know... she might even have to share this room some day *winks*
Tai: *raises eyebrows in surprise* i thought you weren't going to have anymore kids?
Yama: That was yesterday...
Tai: *grins* well i wouldn't mind giving her a little brother or sister
Yama: You want to get pregnant?
Tai: uh...I’ll leave that to you!
Yama: That's what I thought
Yama: *carries Keeki around the room talking softly to her as he points different things out*
Tai: *watches admiringly as Yama talks softly to Keeki. Walks beside them and whispers* do you think she likes it?
Yama: She looks happy enough. Why don't you show her that talking Eeyore you bought her?
Tai: ooh good idea *runs off to their bedroom and grabs talking Eeyore*
Tai: *runs back and squeezes Eeyore's hand near Keeki* Eeyore: Got a question? Well go ahead and ask it
Yama: Look Keeki. *points to Eeyore* What's that? *takes her hand and runs it along Eeyore's *fur* *
Tai: can you say Ee--or? Ee--or.
Yama: She's only a day old koi... she won't be talking for awhile yet
Tai: oh yeah good point *chuckles* shall we let her try out her crib?
Yama: Shouldn't she sleep in the bassinet, she's kinda small for the crib...
Tai: as long as you promise not to bring her into our room every time she cries
Yama: What happens if she's lonely? *pouts*
Tai: don't use that face with me koi *waggles finger at him* she can come in sometimes but not all. we don't want to make it a habit otherwise she'll never sleep in her own room
Yama: Alright, only when she's really fussy then.
Tai: Okay then.
Yama: *gently lays Keeki in her bassinet, takes Tai's hand, leads him out of the room and then closes the door softly behind him* she fell asleep, she should be out for awhile
Tai: *wriggles eyebrows and wraps arms around his koi* you thinking what I’m thinking?
Yama: I don't know... what are you thinking?
Tai: *pulls Yama close to his body and starts nibbling and kissing his neck*
Yama: *gasps at the sudden touch but soon gets used to it*
Tai: *runs hands up inside Yama's shirt as he moves his lips higher to his earlobes*
Yama: *moans softly as he leans his head back, giving his koi more access*
Tai: *takes hands out of Yama's shirt and sweeps him off his feet while placing a deep, sensual kiss on his koi's tender lips as he moves them to their bed and gently lays him on the bed*
Yama: I leave you alone for one night and look what I come home to... *shakes his head teasingly*
Tai: more like look what you left behind *growls teasingly*
Yama: *looks around* When did you buy a puppy? Where's that weak growling coming from? *grins*
Tai: So i purr better than i growl so sue me *smirks*
Yama: I was always more of a cat person anyway
Tai: *climbs onto Yama while sliding one hand up along his inner thigh*
*Keeki begins to cry*
Yama: *sighs and pats Tai on the hand* Gomen koi, parenthood calls
Tai: *holds up finger to Yama* no you wait here. I’ll go *rushes off to Keeki*
Yama: *lays back on the bed*
Tai: *peers into basinet to find a crying baby* what's wrong sweety? *picks up Keeki and begins rocking her*
Yama: *yawns as he feels his eyes get droopy*
Tai: *starts putting Keeki back into basinet when she stops crying but immediately starts up again so Tai rocks her again*
Yama: *calls out* Tai koi? Is everything ok?
Tai: *calls back* yep! *keeki starts crying again* sshh *starts singing* hush little baby don't you cry...cuz daddy's gonna by you a mocking bird, and if that mocking bird don't sing then daddy's gonna by you a diamond ring...
Yama: *rolls eyes and mutters* Sure doesn't sound like it
Tai: *continues to sing softly as he wraps her in the knitted baby blanket he had as a baby and sat down in the rocking chair before rocking back and forth, singing softly, with Keeki cradled in his arms*
Yama: *stands up and leans in the baby's doorway, watching silently as Tai does the 'dad' thing*
Tai: *watches as Keeki falls asleep in his arms. Smiling, he leans down and kisses her head softly before whispering "i love you" to her*
Yama: *smiles lovingly at his koibito and baby*
Tai: *sighs contented, and looks up to see his koi standing in the doorway as he continues to cradle Keeki, so he mouths "hi" to him*
Yama: *smiles and mouths "hey" back*
Tai: *stops rocking when he figures she's fallen into a deep enough sleep, and slowly puts her back into her basinet with the knitted blanket still wrapped around her*
Yama: *turns around and sits on the couch in the LR*
Tai: *turns light off and baby monitor on before he follows Yama to the LR*
Yama: *pats the seat next to him*
Tai: *sits next to Yama and pulls him in a close loving embrace*
Yama: So, how do you like being a parent koi? Is it what you expected so far?
Tai: It's pretty cool, though it interrupts you sometimes but yeah its what i expected mostly.
Yama: *nods* It's kinda hard to believe that just yesterday morning we were wondering if the baby would ever come
Tai: Yeah i know it seems just like it was only yesterday i told you, you were pregnant *smirks*
Yama: *glares playfully* I'm still mad at you
Tai: *is disbelieving* are you now?
Yama: Hai, I haven't lost the weight yet
Tai: *stifles laugh* Yama you don't need to lose any weight. You can barely tell you gained any now that Keeki's born
Yama: Yes I do. I'm gonna get back to the weight I was before.
Tai: Yama, Koi, Angel. Trust me when I tell you that you look amazing!
Yama: *grins* Do I still have that so called 'motherly' glow?
Tai: *smiles* I'm afraid you've lost that...*pouts* and i was so getting fond of it
Yama: aww... and it suited me so well
Tai: well you'll get it back sooner or later I’ll bet! *wriggles eyebrows and grins*
Yama: Thinking about another baby so soon?
Tai: Only somewhere in our future...not just yet
Yama: Good... so what next? A boy I'm guessing?
Tai: as long as its made both of us i couldn't care less *squeezes his koi gently*
Yama: *smiles* Sounds good to me
Tai: good *kisses top of head*
Yama: As long as Otousan doesn't bring anymore balloons
Tai: hey...i thought it was cute
Yama: It was embarrassing!
Tai: Yeah but ya gotta love him for it
Yama: Hai, it was pretty nice. Keeki does seem to like that Panda bear
Tai: yeah, she'll probably fall asleep in its lap at some point
Yama: We'll have to have the camera ready
Tai: one step ahead of you *points to shelf with a few cameras and video cam*
Yama: *looks over* Where'd you get all of those?
Tai: Koushiro & Jyou sent one over, i bought two, and my mom made sure i had a video cam. So she's expecting lots of footage
Yama: *frowns* Your Okaasan's great
Tai: koi...*brings his chin up with finger so he's looking in his eyes* don't worry your pretty little head over that okay?
Yama: Gomen... but it's hard not too
Tai: i know its hard, but for now lets think about other things okay?
Yama: Like what?
Tai: like figuring out who's doing the 3am feedings *smirks*
Yama: you
Tai: *defiantly* i'm not doing them all!
Yama: I'll do the 9 am feedings
Tai: no way you can do the 3am ones and i'll do the 9am ones
Yama: No, I need my rest
Tai: nuh uh, i need it more. u get to stay home with her so you can rest when she rests
Yama: Oh fine, have it your way
