“Carrot, did you even listen to a word of what I said today?” said his mother impatiently.
“Um, sure, mum, sure.”
Apricot sighed. “You’re hopeless, sweetheart. You’ll never learn!”
“Don’t worry, mum, I think I’ll be paying a lot more attention from now on.”
