There are the physical fish the crew encounters, the fish they fly, the fish they hallucinate about, and heck!, even the main character is compared to a fish. Session 2: Stray Dog Strut The fish which becomes ... Session 2: Stray Dog Strut ... Spike! Session 1: Asteroid Blues You, "Swimming Bird". Well, as we've already seen, water's both an agent and an icon of change as it swirls around the characters or pounds down upon their heads. What better creatures are there to survive in such a "watery" world than fish. Session 15: My Funny Valentine The frozen Faye ... Session 15: My Funny Valentine The frozen fish ... Session 17: Mushroom Samba She's swimming with the fishies! Okay, I'm not saying that Spike's a fish (but is Faye a tuna?), but our Bebop'n crew do have "fishy" qualities, like being able to go with the flow, coming and going as they please. Session 18: Speak Like A Child The catfish seems to like Jet ... Session 18: Speak Like A Child ... but Jet doesn't seem to like the catfish. Then there's also a certain slipperiness about some characters in that you never really know what's motivating them or what's happened in their lives. To be honest, I really don't know what's up with the fish, but if I were to give it a go, I'd say its about being fluid in an ever-changing world. Session 6: Sympathy for the Devil Spike's eye ...
