Nymphis' heart was racing as she made her way around the palace, for she did not know what to tell Queen Shadow. "Hello, Nymphis," said a quiet voice behind her back. She stopped, a shiver running down her back. She had no doubt who this was. It was Silencis, her rival since childhood. He had always been jealous of her because of all the attention she got from Qeen Shadow, while he was constantly being shunned away, which was why he deeply hated Nymphis. "So, what is your great mission this time, Queens-pet?" he asked, giving Nymphis a cold stare. "That's none of your business! She asked ME to do it not YOU anyway!" she replied, facing Silencis and glaring at him. Flipping her hair over her shoulder, she tried to walk away, but the pain coursed through her right leg every time she took a step. "What's wrong Nymphis? Hurt your leg? Aww, poor baby..maybe you won't even be able to do the Queens work, huh?" Silencis asked, seeing her weakness. Filled with anger Nymphis snapped back at Silencis, "NOTHING! GO AWAY!" Nymphis walked away as fast as she could and mumbled to herself, "I just bumped into something." She did bump into something, Pluto's Silence Glaive. She pulled back at her cloak to reveal the long gash left by the Glaive. She flinched as she looked at it..it would leave a permanant scar. She breathed deeply before she walked into the throne room. "Nymphis! Back already? How did this mission go?" the Queen asked her. "Uhh..there is both good and bad news." She replied. "Good news first. No use spoiling it, right?" Queen Shadow said as she smiled at Nymphis. "Yes, Ma'am. I have found the host of one of the pure hearts, and have also discovered that there are more of the Senshi, and they call themselves the Outer Senshi. The one called Pluto has a pure heart, I was attacked by her after I dropped the Gem, and as she neared it, it glowed. I was forced to leave, your Majesty, or else I would have been killed. I had no choice, I'm sorry." Nymphis said with her head down. "So, you lost the Gem?!?!" Shadow asked in shock. "Well, uhh..not exactly..but I will get it back as soon as I recuperate and think of a plan!" Nymphis said as she defended herself. "Nymphiss, you have never failed me before. Don't make thiss a firsst...." Queen Shadow said quietly, but Nymphis could tell she was greatly angered. Nymphis walked out of the room, thoughts racing through her head, trying desperatly to make an effective plan to get the Dark Gem back. On the way back to her quarters, she encountered Silencis again, the last person she wanted to see at that time. "So, how'd you do, Queens-pet?" "SHUT UP SILENCIS!" Nymphis screamed, icily glaring at him menacingly. She had no time to argue with Silencis, she had to think of a plan to get the Gem and the pure hearts, and fast. She decided to try one of the classic plans. She would appear, and of course, the Scouts would come running for the safety of their precious world. She would capture one of them, and ransom her for the Dark Gem. "Perfect!" she thought. "Heehee...HAHAHAHAHA..." she laughed inside her head, smiling at the thought of victory

The scouts and Mamoru were still at Usagi's house. "Ahhh...this is so BORING!" Haruka said as she sprang up from the couch, aggrevated at being bored for such a long time. "Hey, wanna go for a drive, Michiru?" she asked Michiru. "Sure! But we should make it short. What if they need us?" she reminded Haruka. "Yea whatever.." Haruka mumbled back. "Bye guys! We'll be right back!" Michiru yelled, running out the door. "Hmm..I just thought of something.." Ami said. "If this Gem is so crucially important to the Shadow Kingdom, won't they be back for it?" She asked Luna. "Good point, Ami!" Luna complimented. "So, what do you think we should do?" Minako asked. Chibi-Usa walked into the living room, rubbing her sleepy eyes. "What's going on Hota-chan? Why is everyone here?" she asked, bewildered at having so many people over this early in the morning. "Sit down, Chibi-Usa, we're having a meeting about the Shadow Kingdom. Remember, we told you about them yesterday?" Makoto said, filling her in about the current situation. "Yea, I remember" Chibi -Usa replied, sitting down on an emtpy spot. "Well, my plan is to equip one of us with a fake gem, which can be accquired easily, while the real one is kept safely here at Usagi's house." Ami said, telling everyone about her plan. "Well, sounds simple enough" Usagi said. "Ok, but who's going to keep the fake gem with them?" Setsuna asked. Makoto looked around, but nobody looked up. "I will." said the small voice of Hotaru, quietly but firmly. "Are you sure, Hotaru? You must be prepared to be attacked or captured, or take anything Nymphis throws at you." Luna told her. "Yes, I'm sure." she said confidently. Hotaru wanted revenge on Nymphis, and this was the closest she would get to it at this time. She wanted at least to humiliate her, if not kill her. The sensor on Ami's computer beeped rapidly, and Ami checked to see what it was. "Nymphis has arrived, everyone." she said, smiling at the group. Let's tell Haruka and Michiru to get here right away. "Right!" Rei agreed. Ami contacted them through the communicators they had recieved. "Ok, we'll be there right away!" Haruka said loudly, trying to speak over the roar of engines. A loud screech could be heard as Haruka made an abrupt U-turn and sped off. "Look at this!!" Ami said to everyone, zooming in on a picture of a strange storm cloud that she had just recieved. "This looks like a storm cloud, but it is darker than normal, and there are no other storm clouds around it." she said, convinced that it was the Shadow Kingdom. "It has to be the Shadow Kingdom's base!" Mamoru said. "I thought so too." Ami replied. She switched modes on the computer to see the structure of the object. "It looks pretty much like a cloud on the outsides, but the middle is pretty much solid, and juts out above the cloud." she said. "Ok, so we know who they are, where they are, they have someone named Nymphis who owns a Dark Gem, and she's after us right?" Rei said, recalling all the facts they had, trying to organize her thoughts. "Don't forget, this Dark Gem can also detect Pure Hearts, which you all know you recieved from Queen Selenity when you visited the past." Luna reminded the Senshi. A few seconds later, Haruka and Michiru burst through the door. "Ok! Let's go!" Usagi exclaimed. "Hotaru! Here!" Minako exclaimed as she threw Hotaru the fake Gem. "Silver Crystal Moon Power!" "Ice Planet Empower!" "Fire Planet Empower!" "Love Planet Empower!" "Thunder Planet Empower!" "Sky Planet Empower!" "Ocean Planet Empower!" "Time Planet Empower!" "Death Planet Empower!" The room was filled with moon dust, ice, fire, hearts, lightning, clouds, water, blurred grey, and blackness all at the same time. It was an amazing sight. "WAIT!!!" Chibi-Usa screamed, "I'm going too!" "Small Lady, do you th ink you can handle it? They seem pretty powerful to me, and it's been a long time since you've battled." Setsuna told Chibi-Usa. "Same for you!" She replied, her eyes full of confidence and determination. "If you're going, Chibi-Usa, I have to go too!" Mamoru said. "Pink Crystal Moon power!" Pink dust and glitter few everywhere, and Chibi-Usa was clothed in a fuku whos skirt, collar and bows were all pink, and she had a pink crescent moon embedded on her chest. She also had pink boots. "Endymion Earth Power!" he disappeared in a ball of light that resembled Earth, and reappeared in his full Prince Endymion costume with a gold band on his right arm, and a silver one on the left, both with the signs of Earth engraved on it. He ran towards the rest of the Sailor Senshi with Chibi-Usa. The whold group ran to the location Ami's computer had directed them to go to. As they neared the location, Usagi yelled, "Ok! half of you approach from behind!" Makoto, Setsuna, Endymion, and Chibi-Usa ran around to the other side. "Just as I thought, it's you again." Ami said to Nymphis. "Hello, Sailor Senshi." Nymphis said coldly. Her carefree giggle was gone, and was replaced by a deadly voice that was almost unrecognizable to be coming from Nymphis. Rei gaver her a stare, filled with raging anger. "Fire Burst!" Mars yelled, and held our her hand, from which a ball of fire raced towards Nymphis, and blew up in front of her, catching her off guard and scorching her a bit. Nymphis snapped her head in Sailor Mars' direction and she crossed her arms in an X in front of her face and released an energy mass of grey aimed directly at Sailor Mars. Mars jumped up and the attack passed safely under her. "Shadow Soldiers, get them!" Nymphis cried in anger. Seven dark figures lunged out at the Scouts, holding them hostage. "HAHAHAHA!" Nymphis laughed evilly as the Scouts squirmed to get out of the Shadow Soldiers' hold. "Pink Sugar Rain!" cried a high-pitched voice. Nymphis turned around and saw more Sailors coming at her. Pink sugar flew past her and to the soldiers, who screamed as they writhed in pain, releasing their grasp on the Senshi, and the girls fell onto the floor, gasping for air. To give them time to recuperate, Makoto jolted the soldiers with her Lightning Shock. The Shadow Soldiers fell to the ground, fried and exhausted. "Now tell us what you want from us, Nymphis!" She cried up at Nymphis, who was hovering above them. "Hmm..first, I want my Gem back! Then I'll think about telling you why I'm here." "Grr.." Sailor Uranus growled at Nymphis menacingly. "Golden Spacedust Storm!" A cloud of gold dust swirled around into one mass, and Uranus hurled it at Nymphis, but she jumped out of the way quickly, watching Uranus' every move. "Give me my Gem...!!" Nymphis jumped down from her hovering position and jumped down to the ground. "We don't have it!" Sailor Moon got up from the ground, and staggered for a moment. "Yess you do! Don't dare lie to me!" Nymphis walked over to where Sailor Moon was standing and brutally slapped her across the face which made the already weak Sailor Moon fall to her knees. "Usako!!" Endymion ran to her side. Hotaru continually glared at Nymphis with her hard cold eyes. She wanted to kill Nymphis for her actions. Nymphis sharply turned to face Hotaru. "You...you're the one arn't you!" Nymphis slowly walked towards Sailor Pluto, death in her eyes. "Yes, and what if I am?" "I'll just have to take it from you won't I?" She took a good look at Sailor Pluto to see if she had the Gem, and noticed a sparkle in her clenched left fist. "Give that to me!!!!" Pluto just looked at her screaming. "No." She gripped her Silence Glaive and twirled it around her head. "Silence Slash!" The metal of her Silence Glaive was powered up and glistened in the sunlight. Pluto swung it down with all her might at Nymphis, leaving another gash on her back. "Ughhhh..." Nymphis gagged, and felt sick from bloodloss. "I'll remember you..I'll never forget...I'll get you back for all you've done to me.." She got up and was gone. "Are you alright??" Saturn ran to the other Sailor Senshi. "Yea, we're fine" Venus told Saturn. Everyone detransformed and walked home.

Nymphis lied down on her stomach back at the Palace of Shadows. She closed her eyes and shook her head for losing such an easy battle and failing such a simple mission. She still felt a bit queezy, but was healing fast and would go back tomorrow with an all new plan to get the Gem back. Queen Shadow was ranting and raving about this failure in the throne room. "Your majesty, allow me to tell you my plan." Silencis bowed. "Whatever, speak." "I know where the leader of the Senshi lives, it is likely that it is at her house, and if it is not, I will find it." Queen Shadow thought about this. Yes, it was a good plan, and she could not afford to let Nymphis get hurt any more than she already was injured. "Hmm...yesss...go on Silencis" "Yes your Majesty, I plan to go to Earth while the Scouts are busy fighting the Shadow Soldiers and get into Sailor Moon's house and steal our precious Gem." He replied. "Yess, that is a wonderful plan. Leave right away." She waved her hand at him. "Yes, Queen. I promise I will not fail you like Nymphis did." He smirked at his comment. Queen Shadow shot him a dirty look and he was gone. As the Inner senshi were all walking to Usagi's house, grey and black flashes surrounded them, but Nymphis was nowhere to be found. "What is this?! Didn't we JUST kill them?!" Makoto spat at them and transformed, the others following close behind. "Blizzard Blinding!" Sailor Mercury shouted, and Ice and snow pelted the Shadow Soldiers down to the ground. "Flame Bomb!" Sailor Mars threw burning fire at the Soldiers and they were blown back by the explosion, and one of the Soldiers fell forward and disinigrated. "Love Kiss Whirl!" Sailor Venus blew kisses at the Soldiers and they were petrified at the kisses spinning around them, for they did not know what love was. "Thunderbolt Electrify!" Lightning came down from the sky and the ground and met in midair, causing streams of electricity to fly down at the group of soldiers, taking down two of them. "Sailor Moon! Finish them off!" "Right!" She touched the Silver Crystal, drawing power from it. "Crystal Heart Elimination!" Yellow and white beams of light flew around the Soldiers and they were engulfed in a ball of light which grew more powerful by the second. When it exploded, not one of them remained standing. Once again, the Sailors detransformed and continued on their way. "I wonder why Nymphis didn't accompany them this time." Ami wondered. "She's probably licking her wounds." Minako said. "Yea, she was hit pretty hard from Pluto's Glaive. But that was amazing though." Rei smiled as she talked. They entered Usagi's house, and thought they heard something like a window closing, but they were too tired to take any notice of it. Everyone plopped down on the couch, and Mamoru and Chibi-Usa walked into the house. "Mamo-chan!" Usagi got up and walked over to him. "Hi Usako," he smiled and kissed her on the forehead. They went out on the balcony together. "I'm so confused, Mamo-chan..I don't know what to do. These Shadow people keep attacking, but I have no idea why, and I don't even know if it's right to keep attacking them like this." "Don't worry, Usako. Just give it time and everything will explain itself." "I hope you're right." Usagi buried her face in Mamoru's shoulder. "You know I love you, Mamo-chan" Usagi looked up at Mamoru's handsome face, and she remembered all the times they had together. "I love you too, Usako, I'll always love you." He said smiling down at her, knowing that they were destined to be together. The romantic mood was broken by Ami-chan who was running around the house looking for the two. "USAGI!!!!!!! MAMORU!!!!!!!" She finally found them, and told them the news, panting, "The Dark Gem!! It's gone~! I have no idea where it is and we looked all over for it but is isn't anywhere to be found!!" "Oh..my..god.." Usagi said, feeling a little weak. "They must have taken it. That's why Nymphis wasn't there at the battle...it was all a distraction...no..." she stepped back a little and Mamoru held her to support her weak body. "Usagi-chan, it's late, why don't you go to sleep, we'll be over again tomorrow Ok?" Rei said, peering out the window. "Ami, lets go." The rest of the girls walked their separate ways to their homes. Everyone was bewildered and felt like they were in an open plain with no idea where to go, and not even a road in sight. Luna walked into Usagi's room. "Usagi!! There was someone here about an hour ago! I have no idea who he was, but i got a bad feeling about him, and he took the Gem, and I tried to stop him, but he wrapped this cloth around me so I couldn't talk and I just managed to get out of it." Luna said, clenching a white peice of cloth in her mouth. "But..but..it couldn't have been a HE...Nymphis is a SHE, Luna." "No, no I'm absolutely sure it was a man. He was dressed in black pants and coat with a grey shirt. He had light grey hair and a deathly quiet voice." "Well, he must be from the Shadow Kingdom, too. Nymphis dresses in all black and grey and speaks quietly, just like the man your talking about. But, why is it someone else this time? How come Nymphis couldn't do something as simple as steal a gem from my house?"

"Queen Shadow, I have returned." Silencis smiled a sly smile as he walked into the room. "Ah, so you have the Gem?" Queen Shadow looked at him through the corner of her eye. "Yes, your majesty" "Oh, really? I have underestimated you, Silencis. You are now in charge of getting my Pure Hearts. Work with Nymphis, and I will have the best team ever! Hahahahaha...and soon, I can escape this horrendous body!"
