Brian J. Mason fought the Knight Sabers on top of GENOM HQ. He wanted to prove to Quincy that he was a valuable GENOM executive.

The old man was very pushy. He watched Mason on TV screens. He waited for him to mess up. His confidence in him was decreasing every second. The Sabers dodged his every bullet.

MASON : If I fail Quincy again....

He turned and gasped when he heard a voice behind him.

VOICE : Too late.

MASON : Quincy !

He could hear the GENOM chairmanı s voice.

VOICE : YOU ARE USELESS !

Mason gasped.

VOICE : Prepare to die.

Quincy pressed a button on his desk which enabled a gun to raise from the roof. The Sabers could hear Mason sob from within his armor. Several bullets exited the gun and went through him. They ignored his screams. GENOMı s executive collapsed.

NENE : Is he.... ?

Sylia kicked the dead body.

NENE : Well, he did not say ow.

SYLIA : Be careful. The blood may be slippery.

Nene slipped and fell on her behind.

NENE : Ouch !

Linna helped her stand.

NENE : Thank you.

LINNA : I would like to know what Masonı s last thoughts were.

PRISS : Oh shit !

LINNA : That may be accurate. Letı s go home.

Sylia, Priss, and Nene followed her. Quincy continued to stare at the screens.

QUINCY : One less failure.
