Note: This takes place after Tenchi Muyo in Love. Which is after the Tenchi

Chapter 1: The Arrival

"Tenchi, wake up." Tenchi woke and saw his father. "What is it dad?" His
father pointed outside the window. "You need to go harvest the vegetables
before it gets even worse. I hear the storm is going to last all day." Tenchi
looked outside, he saw the rain coming down pretty hard. "What time is it?"
Nobiyuki looked at his watch. "It's almost 4. That was some nap Tenchi."
Tenchi got up and put on his work clothes. "Oh well, time to get to work I
guess." Tenchi went downstairs and saw Ryoko and Ayeka fighting again. "What
are you two fighting about this time?" Ryoko gave Tenchi an innocent look.
"Tenchi, Ayeka is being a huge hog." Ayeka gave Ryoko a look that could kill.
"What??!! Hey there, I wasn't the one who wolfed down an Entire bowl of
soup!!" Tenchi just gave a sigh. "I don't even have time for this right now.
I have to go to the fields, so try not to fight at least for one hour." Ryoko
and Ayeka gave each other an evil look and left the room. Tenchi wondered
what he was going to do them. "I can't believe how much those two fight!"
After Tenchi put on his work shoes, he went outside and headed toward the
fields.
It had become much worse now. It was now raining harder than ever.
Even though Tenchi had an umbrella, he was still soaked. "How am I supposed
to work in this?" Tenchi could barely see 10 feet in front of him. He still
knew he had to harvest the carrots and went through the rain. While he was on
the way to the fields, he heard something coming behind him. He turned around
quickly and didn't see anything. "Hello? Ryoko, is that you?" Nobody replied.
"I must be starting to hear things." He started to walk on. As he was walking
he looked at how muddy his feet were getting. Then he heard something
strange. He heard something that sounded like footsteps coming right behind
him. He began to think in his head of what was going on. "Ok Tenchi,
something is definitly behind you." He turned around really fast this time
but saw nothing. "Ryoko, is that you?" He still heard nothing. "It must be an
experiment of Washu's." Tenchi started to walk but now he knew he heard
something. Then Tenchi heard a strange voice. "So, You are Tenchi." Tenchi
turned around and saw a figure. Now Tenchi was really scared and had no idea
what was going on. "Who are you?" The figure didn't reply. He just stood
there. The rain went over his clothes, but he didn't appear wet at all, and
it was too dark for Tenchi to make out who he was. He was an immense man,
and Tenchi became frightened just looking at him. He wore a robe similar to
that on planet Jurai, but something was different about it. It almost
reminded him of the clothes that Kagato wore. The rain was now coming down
even harder making it impossible for Tenchi to see his face. All Tenchi could
see was his clothes and a symbol, a strange symbol on the center of his robe,
but it was too hard to make out. Tenchi realized that he might have to defend
himself against him, but with what? He had left his sword at home, and by the
size of this man, he looked deadly. "What do you want?" Tenchi was scared but
he managed to contain his fear from being noticed. The strange figure
replied, and his voice sounded so elegant that Tenchi's fear vanished. "I
want nothing from you Tenchi. I have come to tell you of an arrival." He
became confused. "An arrival?" The warrior spoke, but Tenchi still couldn't
make out his face. "Yes, I will explain everything inside. Come, let's get
out of the rain Lord Tenchi." Tenchi wasn't about to trust him yet. "How did
you know my name?" "I have known you for longer than you could possibly
remember." Tenchi became even more confused. "What? I've never seen you
before. What are you talking about?" The figure looked at him deeply. "As I
said, I will explain everything inside Lord Tenchi." Tenchi didn't know what
to do. Should he follow instructions from a complete stranger? "How do I know
that you're not going to trick me?" The figure, for the first time was now
fully visible. Tenchi didn't know what to make of him. He was huge, his face
was elegant but you could tell that he was a warrior with the scar he had.
He replied this time sounding direct. "You have my word Lord Tenchi." With
that, Tenchi had to trust him.
Tenchi began walking with the warrior back to his house. The rain was
starting to drizzle now, and Tenchi could clearly see his figure. "Before we
walk any further, can you at least tell me your name?" He stoped abruptly.
"Very well, my name is Heroki, and my duty is.......................as I said
before, I will tell you everything inside." "No go on, your duty is...." He
didn't even reply this time, he just kept on walking toward the house. Tenchi
could of sworn he heard him mumbling something though, something that sounded
like a chant or a prayer. They were coming close to Tenchi's house and the
rain was starting to fall violently again. Tenchi noticed that the lake was
growing bigger because of all the storms lately. For the rest of the way
home, Tenchi was scaning Heroki. His hair was black and long, and even
spikey. He had a large scar over his left eyebrow. He was around 5'12", but
was extremely built, Tenchi could tell that he was a warrior and had been
through some serious training. His robe had a strange symbol in the center.
Tenchi still couldn't make it out because of the rain.
They had finally arrived at Tenchi's house. Tenchi had no idea what to
say to his father, or to anybody for that matter. What was he going to say?
Hey dad, some guy here that i never met came to me in the fields? When he
opened the door, he walked inside with Heroki following behind him. Tenchi
looked around and didn't see anybody. "Anybody Home?" Tenchi waited for an
answer but nobody replied. "Good, I wanted to talk to you alone anyway Lord
Tenchi." Heroki stood standing as if he was too proud to sit down. Tenchi sat
close to him, waiting for him to speak. Now Tenchi could see him under the
light. He could now finally see the symbol on his robe. It looked like a long
Jurian sword with a circle around it. "I see you like my medal." Tenchi
looked up, now he was going to know the truth about who this man was. He was
still scared, but not as much as before. Heroki looked around the house and
gave a look of approval. He then focused on Tenchi. "Lord Tenchi, are you
sure you want to hear what I am about to tell you?" Tenchi really thought
whether he wanted to hear what He had to say. "Yes." "Well, first off, you
must understand that what I am about to tell you is the truth, and you must
accept it. Do you understand?" Tenchi nodded his head, almost unable to
speak. "As I said before, my name is Heroki, I am a decendent of the Council
of Warriors. I'll tell you all about the council later, but now I want to
focus on my connection with you. First off, my job has been and always will
be to protect you. You see, I have protected you since the day of your birth
under the Jurian called Achika. Your birth was different than any other
Jurians, because you were given the power of Light Hawk, which is the
strongest and purest form of Jurian energy. It explain how you were able to
create the Light Hawk Wings in your battle with Kagato. The council of
Warriors were the only people that knew this on the day of your birth. We
knew you would have extreme powers that we could only imagine possible. That
is why I volunteered to protect you until you were able to control those
powers. But we had to do this without you ever knowing, you see, if you had
knew I was always there protecting you, you would have never created the
Light Hawk Wings in your battle with Kagato. We also knew that your father
had no idea of your immense powers, and that the only one in your family
which did know later in your life was none other than Yosho, your
grandfather. You see, when Yosho knew how strong you were, he had to train
you not only to be stronger, but to be virtuous, so you would never use your
power to hurt the innocent as Kagato did. Kagato used us, he tried to learn
the secrets of the Warrior Council and combine that with Jurian power, but as
you can see, he never figured it out. Tenchi, now comes the part you're not
going to like. You know that your mother died from illness while you were
just a boy, but did you know from what illness? Tenchi gave a look of
astonishment, he had never thought in depth, of how his mother died. Heroki
spoke this time, in a much more depressing tone. "Kain, one of the most
ruthless criminals of all time, is responsible for the death of your mother."
Tenchi gave a look of horror. "How is that possible, I saw my mother kill him
right in front of my own eyes!" "Tenchi, you must let me finish. Your mother
sacrifed the greatest gift of all, she sacrificed her own life. In order to
create the amount of power needed to destroy Kain, Achika shortened her own
life." Tenchi began to think back to the time of the battle. He remembered
Achika's sword, how long and powerful it became when she used her true power.
It all made sense to him, Kain really was responsible for the death of his
mother. "Tenchi, I know it is hard sometimes to know the truth, but you must
know." Tenchi almost began to cry, wondering if he could have done anything
different in the battle that would saved his mother's life. Before Tenchi
could think about it any longer, Heroki spoke again. Heroki still stood
standing and Tenchi couldn't help but think if he could of changed things.
"Tenchi, I'm going to tell you of Kain's apprentice. It is now time for
you to learn who is searching for you. His name is Ryule. He is one the
strongest and darkest warriors in the universe. He was Kain's apprentice, and
their plan was to seek ultimate power, and have the universe for themselves.
He is after you because he seeks the Jurian power that you have. His wish is
to combine your Jurian power with his own, making him infinite. Although his
previous plan was to join with Kain, he will still be just as powerful.
Tenchi, when he comes, there will be war, a war so large, that it's
destruction will affect this entire galaxy. You see, there are two groups of
people in the universe, those who are with Ryule, and those who are against
him. The council of warriors and the Jurian Council are both major threats to
Ryule, but if he gets your power, then not only our councils, but the
universe will suffer greatly. That is why I have protected you for so long. I
await the day when Ryule will come to fight you, and try to destroy you.
Tenchi was now completely speechless and motionless. "Wwwhhatt? Why does he
want me?" "I told you Tenchi, he wants infinite power, and he can only get
that power.................from you." "What am I dealing with here?" Tenchi
thought about how strong Kain was, and wondered how powerful Ryule was going
to be. "Are you sure you want to know?" Tenchi nodded. "Yes, how strong is
he?" "He is............He is about 50 times stronger and more powerful than
Kain ever was." Tenchi ramed his fist into the wall. "IMPOSSIBLE! How am I
supposed to fight something that strong??" Ryule was now standing and drew
out his sword. It was immense, his sword was just like Tenchi's, except it
was 3 times as big. "With our help, you will defeat him, but it will require
true training, training which you have never endured before." Tenchi became
really confused now. "What are you talking about OUR help? Who else is with
you?" Ryule pointed at the door. "The next person who walks through that
door, into this house, who is not only a true warrior, but one who is willing
to sacrifice everything for you, is going to help you defeat Ryule." Tenchi
stared at the door, wondering who he was talking about. Tenchi wondered who
it could be. Then one thought came to him. "It's Grandpa! Isn't it Heroki?"
Heroki just looked at the door. Then the door swung open, and before Tenchi
could see who it was, he heard her voice. "TENCHI!!!! I went out looking for
you, but now that we're alone..............." Ryoko notice Heroki standing
next to Tenchi. "Hey, who are you?" Tenchi gave a look of pure astonishment.
"RRRRyoko?" Ryoko rushed toward Tenchi and gave him a hug. "Yes Tenchi?"
Tenchi couldn't believe it, as he stared into Ryoko, he was completely
speechless. He was going to fight the greatest evil in the universe with
Ryoko. Heroki gazed at Tenchi while Ryoko hugged him. "Yes Tenchi, You and
Ryoko are going to fight Ryule."
