The Kagetai HomeName: Seta Jinko (aka Ginrou/Ginny-san)Birthdate: September 4, 1861 Height: 5'2" Weight: 105 Ilbs Appearance: Since she's Soujirou's twin, she resembles him greatly. The main differences are the braid down her back, and the slightly more feminine look in her eyes. Her attire consists of a man's hakama, with a red man's kimono over it. She seldomly wears female clothing, and does her best to hide her feminine appearance in public. Background: SPOILER (For Soujirou's backround) Jinko and Soujirou were born to a whore in 1861. The woman named them, however, naming them was the only thing she would ever be able to do for them. The father took them away, in fear of his reputation being ruined. About a year later their father died, and the twins were alone in the world. The family used them both for labor, and they both started to hide their emotions and showed nothing but happiness due to this cruelty. When Jinko was 7 the older brother of them got really upset with her and raped her. For the first and only time in his life thus far, Soujirou let his anger loose and tried to attack the man to get him off his sister. Of course, he didn't get very far, but it was enough to give him a nasty scratch. After that, it was decided by the family that together the twins might grow strong and turn against them,but if they sold one for a lot of money, and kept the other for labor, things would be okay. Jinko was sold into slavery, but by using an old chiped sword she found, she managed to escape it. From that time, until she was 10 years old, she began practicing with her sword...and looking for her brother. They had a happy (what else would a Seta reunion be?) reunion soon after their 10th birthdays. Jinko became an "honorary" Jupongatana member, but often liked to watch Saitou and what seemed to be a group of his secret henchman fight. One day Jinko when Jinko was 12, she got a little too close to one of their battles, and one of the enemies tried to kill her. But before anyone could react, Jinko had slain the man. She was covered in blood, and smiling like there was no tommorrow. How could Saitou tell this "little girl" to go home? From that day forth he allowed her to tag along on their missions By the time she was 15, she became to Saitou a little bit like what Soujirou was to Shishio. Shishio did know of her allegances, but was not worried because although Jinko respected Saitou and was loyal to him, her brother was the most important part of her life. If the time ever came where her services were needed, her loyalty to her brother prevailed everything. When Jinko was 18, loyalty was put to the test when she discovered that Saitou and Shishio were on opposing sides. Saitou, realizing that this desion might not only turn her against him, but crack her mentally, sent her on an odd mission...to protect his wife, Tokio, and his family. Jinko was pretty honored by this, for he told her that she was the only one he would trust to do such a thing. So she went faithfully to protect her for several months. While she was at Tokio's, she was still in some conflict...the conflict of "the strong survive the weak die." vs. "Aku, Soku, Zan." Should the only ones to die be the weak, or be the sinful? It was a hard question for her, 3 months later when the Shishio ordeal was over, she was still trying to figure it out. Then it came. When she returned to Shishio's place, looking for signs of her brother, she found none. Saitou himself only knew that the Seta boy went insane, and could possibly be dead. This killed Jinko, she supressed her emotions even more, and practiced even harder. She still seeks her brother, but thinks that he's probably dead. Which brings us to now. Personality: Ginny-chan, as her brother would call her , is very calm and serene. She seldom shows any emotion but happiness, and when she does, it would more likely be tears then anger. Likes: Dislikes: None really determinable, except for the thought of harm coming on her brother, or even Saitou's family. Rivals: Possibly certain Kagetai members Current sketch: She lives in a small apartment in Kyoto, constantly practicing, and visiting Saitou and his family. Although she was only there for a brief time, Jinko felt something with his family...a belonging. In it, she thinks she will find the answer to her true happiness. |
