InuYasha Movie Summary for "Inuyasha: Love that Transcends Time"

Version I contributed by Alex Meyering:

When it starts Sessho-Maru-Sama is walking all alone at night. He sees two women in Chinese clothing and they ask him to give them his "Fang". He just kills them (go Fluffy!). Then you see some jewels glow on the bodies and they come back to life.

Then it goes to Kagome making food in her kitchen and then she rushes down the well. She meet Inu and the gang fighting a big scorpion Youkai. They kill it, and Kagome tells them she made food. They start to have their cute little picnic and Inu-Yasha pigs out and says nothing to Kagome when she asks if he liked it. She gets upset and runs away to cool off.

She heads back towards the tree where she first saw Inu-Yasha. Wandering around that area is Kikyo. Kagome hides then finds Kikyo is gone. She goes to the tree and sticks her finger in a knot holes. She pricks her finger and it bleeds. The Inu-Yasha shows up, apologizes, and bandages her finger. Then it cuts back to Miroku and Sango. Suddenly, the same jewel shape glows on Kiraras head and she rushes off to the forest and Miroku and Sango rush after her.

They find Kirara in the laps of the same Chinese girls. They start talking and the girl reaveal that their Youkai, and vines bind Sango and Miroku. The one girl somehow steal Miroku's Kazaana. Then a seris of events goes on in which Inu-Yasha get beaten by a mysteriuos foe called Meno-Maru and Kagome and Kirara get captured. Then a very confusing scene takes place; the histroy of Meno-Maru and Inu-Yasha's fathers.

This is all i got out of it: There war a Youkai war in China (where Hyoga, meno's father was from) which Inu-Yasha's father fought in a beat Hyoga, sealing his power away in something-or-other. The only thing that can release the power for Meno-Maru to "inheirit" is the Tetsusaiga. So Inu-Yasha, Miroku and Sango run over to save Kagome. Then theres and itty-bitty fight scene and Inu-Yasha sticks his sword in this orb thingamajigger and it realeases the power.

The Meno-Maru powers up and blasts inu and friends away. Then you learn that the Inu-Yasha tree is called the time tree and it's growing or something like that. Then all the leaves fall off, and Kagome and kikyo are back at the base of the tree. Kikyo starts yelling at Kagome and pushes her in the well and the tree grows over so she can't come back. Then Kikyo shoots inu-Yasha back on the tree. Kagome gets really sad and it starts snowing. Then the grandpa goes nuts and says its a bad omen or some shlock and starts japanese prayer spells.

Kagome goes to the tree and somehow connects with Inu-Yasha and its all very touching. She pulls out an arrow head, with a headless arrow and Inu-Yasha is free. She shoots the arrow down the well and blows away the branches. Then they go back and face up to Meno-Maru. Then there's the final fight scene and everyone who's not from China goes home happy!

Inuyasha Movie 2 - The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass

Version I contributed by Ayame-sama (Swordgoddess16@aol.com):

The film opens with Inuyasha (human) sitting in a small cabin in the forest. Kagome slings her arrows over her back and leaves Inuyasha to stay and keep out of trouble. Meanwhile we see Naraku burst through the woods running incredibly fast when Hiraikotsu slams into a tree beside him. Sango is on him (this was really cool, it looked like something out of Ninja Scroll). Finally they chase him into the clearing where they all deal some serious damage to him. Naraku transforms into a giant spider demon and then crushes the cabin where Inuyasha was hiding just as the sun rises.

Inuyasha tears out and a lengthy battle ensues (pretty gruesome too). Eventually Kagome fires an arrow through Naraku's chest and he dies. No one seems able to believe it, but Miroku removes his prayer beads and sure enough his Wind Tunnel has vanished.

Eventually the group separates and tries to get on with their post Naraku lives. Kagome goes back to school while still stopping by to help Inuyasha and Shippo search for the Shikon Shards. Miroku goes back to see Mushin with Hatchie and they discuss how he has finally broken his family's curse as he visits his father's grave.

Sango goes off to find Kohaku who has been chased by a pack of demons and has an arrow logged into his leg. Eventually she saves him and they travel together again.

As all this happens Inuyasha and Kagome meet with a young man who is apparently Hojo's ancestor (I thought it was Nobunaga at first). He travels with them for a while.

While all this is happening, behind the scenes Kanna and Kagura are gathering items to free a woman named Kaguya from her imprisonment inside a magical mirror. They slaughter villages and kill many in their search for the items. The sleeve from Inu-Yasha's kimono was also needed, and Kagura succeeds in getting it.

Once Kaguya is freed she attempts to use her mirror to imprison Inu-Yasha's human half thus forcing him to become a whole demon. He resists her, and eventually the group gets back together. Kaguya continues to increase her powers and eventually uses her mirror to raise a giant castle on a mountaintop. While they fight, Inuyasha is pinned to a tree and Kaguya reverses Kagome's arrow at him. Instead of letting it kill him Kagome jumps in the way and takes the blow, but not before Hojo's ancestor tosses a piece of fabric between the arrow and Kagome. The fabric was one of the final things needed by Kaguya, so she takes it and Kagome off to the castle.

The others attempt a rescue but have to face off against Kagome's giant, multi-headed dragon over a lake. Kikyo arrives to help Inuyasha deal the killing blow before heading off again. Inuyasha has a funny scene of shaking the water off like a dog that was pretty hilarious. After bandaging their injuries Kaguya casts a spell that begins to petrify everything around the castle. Hatchie and Ancient Hojo turn to stone, but everyone else does not because they are wearing bandages and things from Kagome's time (either that or because Kagome had handled them). Needless to say they covered themselves in bandages and Band-Aids and headed off to battle (which looked really bizarre). Inuyasha was wearing a locket that Kagome had given him with both of their pictures in it, and this saved him from petrification. Miroku even takes some ink and daps it on his hand to at least make it look like he still has his wind tunnel.

Inside the battle ensues as Kaguya grows more powerful (and wears a sexier outfit). Kaguya disarms Inuyasha and uses her mirror once again to draw out his demonic side. Miroku rushes up to him to tell him to get a hold of himself, but almost has his stomach torn out for his trouble. Shippo helps free Kagome who rushes over to Inuyasha and tries to help him resist. Demonic Inuyasha grabs her so hard that his claws dig into her arms, but Kagome does the only thing she can to help him, she kisses him and he begins to turn back (and kisses her back as well).

This causes Kaguya's mirror to crack and she gets really angry. At about this time Kagura and Kanna have played their parts as far as they want. They use the Kanna's mirror to suck away some of Kaguya's life force and then suddenly a spider burn mark emerges on Kohaku's back. Miroku's Wind Tunnel screams back to life and in a truly grotesque scene Naraku's torso with spider legs grows from a pustule on Kohaku's back and he goes on a rampage.

Kaguya zaps him sending him away (but not killing him as Miroku points out because of his hand). They finish their battle with her and then the castle begins to collapse as they make their escape. Suddenly a black cloud chases them and it is Kaguya once again followed by Naraku who grabs Kagome. Inuyasha knocks Naraku away and Miroku uses his air rip to suck up the black cloud that remains of Kaguya. As Sango watches Naraku, Kagura, Kanna and her brother all teleport away together through the mirror.

The group follows them through the mirror to escape the collapsing castle. Naraku and the others are gone, but everyone has escaped and the petrification has disappeared.

Inuyasha Movie 3 - Tenka Hadou no Ken (The Sword of World Conquest).

Summary Version I contributed by Franktaluan@aol.com:

The story reflects on the past, when Inu-Yasha's father found Inu-Yasha's mother - I think her name is Yuki (which mean's snow), but don't go around saying that as I've probably misheard. Yuki (I'm going to call her that because it's shorter) was about to die when Inu-Yasha's father used Tenseiga to save her. Later on you see him battling a fierce war lord, almost dead, and Yuki standing behind him, wearing the firerat cloak that later becomes Inu-Yasha's. Yuki is holding a baby in her arms and asks "What shall we call him", to which Inu-Yasha's father replies "Inu Yasha" and then tells Yuki to run away. Inu-Yasha's father tells Sesshoumaru to protect his brother(1).

In the 30th Century, Kagome's grandpa has found an intresting sword in his store room, and the spirit(2) of it comes out and starts talking to Souta. It freaks the family out. I have no clue what happens, but I think the sword is evil or 'something'.

As above, I am really stumped at what happens next. Inu-Yasha goes full demon and starts killing people with this sword (3). Sesshoumaru turns up as usual, insulting Inu-Yasha and tries to get the sword. There's also an evil dark army invovled in the story - whom I think are also after the sword (4).

Most of the movie is surrounded by the Inu-Yasha / Sesshomaru fighting however, and there are two clips of major intrest:

1. Sesshoumaru actually grabs and then weild Tessaiga - wether he uses it to harm Inu-Yasha is unknown.

2. Inu-Yasha goes mental with the sword and holds it up in the air, while Sesshoumaru is about to kill him - however the power of the sword is overwhelming Inu-Yasha and he wont move. Kagome keeps yelling "SIT!" but it doesn't work, so she lunges at Inu-Yasha and tries to make him drop the sword. Sesshoumaru hits the group and there's a BIG explosion. This is when the preview ended(5).

Nothing I have said there is official - it could be wrong - but if you want visual truth use the images below and decide what you think. The movie song is also called "Four Seasons" by Namie Amuro, who also sings the 7th ending, "Come"

(1)Inu-Yasha's father couldn't have been killed at this fight however, as in the series, it says that he dies during his battle with Ryukossei.

(2)The guy coming out of the sword looks very much like Toutousai.

(3)I am not sure what this sword is. It could be Tessagia or a completely different sword. InuYasha's father is also seen at the start of the clips I saw using the sword to preform "Kaze no Kizu".

(4)This could be related to the same war lord Inu-Yasha's father was fighting with.

(5)Two characters are going to die in this movie (as said on the movie 2 DVD apparently). It was thought to be Jaken and Rin (who could of been brought back to life by Sesshoumaru's Tensiaga), but maybe it's Inu-Yasha and Kagome, who later Sesshoumaru realizes what his father says, and heals them.
