well, amy's gonna, lose it, i guess, and another FLASH?

"That's nice dear," Chi Chi said. Gohan had just finished telling her about Nicole, Amy, and the spaceship. "But don't you go off fighting again. You need to stick to your studies." Her eyes went all dreamy when she said, "Just think, you're so smart that you'll have a Ph D in no time --" her mood changed to angry "--but only if you stick to your studies!"

Gohan cringed as his mother's voice went up a notch at that last statement.

Bertha walked in and handed Chi Chi some pills and a cup of water. "No! I don't want any pills! I'm talking with my Gohan!" Chi Chi cried.

"Don't worry, Chi Chi," said Bertha. "Gohan can stay until you fall asleep --" Chi Chi began to protest, but Bertha went on "-- you know it's almost time for your nap."

Defeated, Chi Chi took the pills. Bertha turned to Gohan. "Try to keep her calm and she'll be asleep in no time," she said quietly.

Gohan nodded. He had been visiting his mother for a few hours now and was getting hungry. He decided to tell Chi Chi about what he was learning from his calculus book to quicken her slumber.

It worked and he was soon back at Capsule Corp.

Vegeta carried Amy back to his capsule-house and lay her on the bed. He was still Super Saiyan and powered down as he went to the bathroom to clean his wounds. He walked back over to Amy, carrying bandages and other first aid supplies. He sat beside her and began dressing and cleaning her wounds. They had started training as soon as they were finished eating. They're sparring had been hard and non-stop. Vegeta was being extra-hard on Amy during their training, and neither of them had had any senzu beans after the day before. Both were in very rough shape and, if they had been human, would not have been able to walk again for a couple of weeks. As it was, Vegeta felt more muscle aches then he had in a long time.

Vegeta smiled to himself as he finished wrapping Amy's left leg. Although he wouldn't admit it out loud, he had had a lot of fun during their sparring, and he knew that Amy would soon be a Super Saiyan. The thought of seeing a female Super Saiyan thrilled him, especially if it were Amy, and that's why he pushed her so hard. Plus, he knew she wanted to reach the level of Super Saiyan soon.

"So, how was Chi Chi?" Bulma asked Gohan after she gave him some lunch. She, Gohan, and both Trunkses were sitting in the kitchen eating.

"She's doing better," replied Gohan. "She only yelled twice today."

"That's good," said Bulma. "Did she like the flowers?"

"I couldn't give them to her," Gohan said around a mouthful of food. "They said it could hurt her if she ate them."

Bulma nodded. "I suppose.... Anyway, did you tell her about what's going on?"

"Yah, but I left out a few things...."

"PHOO!"

Baby Trunks had just spat out his spoonful of strained beets at Trunks across the table. Everyone laughed.

"I guess he doesn't like beets," said Bulma.

"Or --"

--------PING!--------

Gohan and Trunks stopped laughing when they sensed a large power. Baby Trunks started crying.

"What is it?" Bulma asked, scared.

Trunks and Gohan looked at each other.

"We gotta go, Mom," said Trunks, rising from the table.

Gohan nodded and they ran out the door to fly towards the power.

Nicole awoke to find herself trapped beneath something. She couldn't move anything, not even her tail. She began to panic, but then realized that it was only Goku, asleep on top of her. Nicole sighed with relief and went back to sleep.

Amy woke up suddenly, sitting straight up. She'd had more of those images while she was unconscious, and one image made her blood boil with rage. She couldn't remember what it was, but she was infuriated just the same.

She tried to stand up when she noticed her left shoulder, her right calf, and her abdomen were all wrapped in bandages. She growled and pushed herself to her feet. Amy suddenly felt something....off....and looked around. Everything was as it should be, Vegeta's absence being the only thing different.

/Vegeta..../ Amy thought. Then that one image came flooding through her head with perfect clarity, causing her to scream with anger.

Her aura flared and grew brighter and brighter. Amy's long, thick mane began to stiffen, her spiky locks rising to stick out in all directions. Her eyes flickered green, then stayed that colour. She let out a loud roar and her aura flared gold, her hair turning yellow. Her power grew immensely, so much so that she couldn't control it and the capsule-house was destroyed, the rubble falling at her feet.

Her energy gathered beneath her and she blasted-off into the sky, a golden ball followed by a golden streak.

Somewhere in a desert, a large green and purple figure stood, laughing giddily and holding a rectangular object in one of its -- hands? It had stopped fearing for its life and gladly let its power level rise enough for it to be sensed. It was so insanely happy that it never looked up when a golden streak landed a few yards away from it. Nor when another streak, and another, and another followed the first.

The first golden-haired warrior stalked angrily towards the green-and-purple figure. The figure opened its mouth to speak, but the warrior shot a yellow blast of energy at its head, without using their hands.

"It" staggered back, but would not drop the object it clutched.

The warrior continued to stalk towards it.

Vegeta landed with Trunks and Gohan beside him. They all stared as Amy, now a Super Saiyan, steadily walked to Cell.

Amy let out a loud scream and shot a large, black ball of energy at Cell. Cell was hit and exploded, leaving only a stump and an arm. The arm was attched to the hand holding the object.

The three male Super Saiyans flew over to Amy and the stump. They got within twelve feet when Amy's aura blew them backwards to land in a heap of limbs and yellow hair.

During that, Cell had regenerated and was laughing giddily again. He was silenced when Amy let out a deep, low, growl that brought the promise of intense torture before death.

Cell clasped the object in his tail and posed for a kamehame-ha, but Amy pulled back her arm and punched Cell in the face, snapping his head back, but not tearing it off. He righted his head, smiled at Amy and flew straight up into the air. Amy went to follow, but

Goku awoke to find himself lying in bed -- alone?

/"Nicole?"/ Goku looked around for his mate, but didn't find her. He couldn't sense her through their Bond, nor could he feel her life-energy.

Goku suddenly doubled-over in pain. Due to their Bond, Goku now *needed* Nicole to be near him, or else they both would suffer. The pain would grow worse the further apart they were. And if Goku couldn't even sense her life-energy, then she was either severely hurt or --

"NICOLE!" Goku screamed, mentally and vocally. He got out of bed and finally noticed the small figure curled up on the floor by the bed.

Amy kept screaming -- almost howling -- seething and trembling with rage.

Vegeta continued to try to reach her, but her aura wouldn't let anything near. Finally, he decided on a better course of action than just walking up to her.

Trunks and Gohan were looking for Cell, and so they couldn't stop the Prince form charging up for his attack.

"FINAL FLASH!"

The yellow energy hit Amy square in the back and she toppled over, her aura coming down in her weakened state.

Vegeta flew over to her, as did Trunks and Gohan.

"What the hell did you do that for?!" cried Trunks, glaring at his father. "You could've killer her!"

Vegeta ignored him and knelt down beside Amy. He moved to roll her onto her back when her aura flared up and she kicked him in the head.

Vegeta's body rolled from the force of her kick. Amy flipped herself onto her feet, crouching low and baring her canines at Gohan and Trunks.

Gohan took a step toward her and she stepped back, growling and looking frightened.

"Amy, it's okay," said Gohan soothingly. "It's me, Gohan, and you remember Trunks..."

Amy looked from one to the other, confusion and fear written across her face.

"She can't understand you," said Vegeta. He used super-speed to materialize behind Amy and grabbed her in a shoulder lock.

Amy thrashed wildly but couldn't hit him. She lowered her head in defeat, and then brought it backwards, smacking Vegeta in the face, hard. The Prince lost his hold on her and she turned around, elbow-thrusting him to the ground.

Trunks and Gohan watched in shock.

"What's wrong with her?" asked Trunks.

"Meow?" asked Sapphire as she stretched and walked over to Goku.

Nicole came running in and said breathlessly, "What?! What's wrong?"

Goku looked at her, not believing his eyes. He grabbed her and crushed her to his naked body. "You're okay!" he exclaimed.

Nicole pushed back from him a little. "Yah......Why wouldn't I be?"

"I couldn't feel you or sense you, so I thought you were hurt or....." he trailed off.

"I'm okay, but do you know how we got back to my house?" Nicole asked, confused. "Cause me and Amy never found the remote."

"Heheheh. Ahahaha. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" A green and purple figure stood laughing amongst the rubble and carcasses of what used to be a high school.

"She's feral; she let her instinct completely take over her mind," said Vegeta. "Now she's no better than an animal."

"Well how can we help her?" Gohan asked.

Amy screamed and lunged for his throat. Gohan wasn't expecting her to be so fast and her hands locked around his throat, cutting his air supply.

Trunks tried to get Amy off of Gohan, but she kicked him and sent him careening across the desert.

Gohan let out a choked cry and sent Amy flying as he went Super Saiyan 2.

Amy flipped and landed on her feet, glaring at Gohan. She powered-up and sent a black energy blast barrelling towards Gohan. He blocked it with his forearms, but it caused him to land on his back. Gohan got back up, and he and Trunks stood on opposite sides of Amy, Gohan in front of her.

"Don't crowd her," Vegeta said. "She'll feel threatened and will --"

Amy's scream cut him off as her aura erupted from her and blew Trunks and Gohan away. She then blasted off and flew away at an incredible speed.

"Leave her to me." Vegeta flew off after her.

"So, you can't sense me at all?" Nicole asked incredulously. "I can sense you perfectly."

Goku's stomach growled and he blushed. "Can we eat now?"

Nicole smiled. "Get dressed first, then you can eat." She left the room and went downstairs to finish making breakfast. Nicole set the table and placed the food there when she looked up and saw Jenn standing in the doorway.

"Where'd you guys go last night?" Jenn asked, yawning.

"Uh, I went to Goku's?" Nicole replied.

"O....K....Well, can you fly me back to my car?"

"Sure," said Nicole. "Right after we eat."

Goku entered the kitchen and they all sat down to eat.

When they were finished, they went outside to fly Jenn back to where the school once stood.

Goku tried to pick Jenn up and fly, but found that he couldn't.

"What's wrong, Goku?" Nicole asked.

"I'm not sure," said Goku. "I don't think I'm strong enough to carry someone and fly at the same time."

Nicole looked at him. "Are you serious?!" She smacked him on the head. "Wha- How?"

"I don't know. I don't *feel* weakened," Goku said, rubbing the sore spot on his head.

"So, does this mean I have to *walk* all the way to my car?" Jenn asked.

"No, I guess I can carry you...." said Nicole. She picked Jenn up, somewhat awkwardly, and they flew off towards the school grounds.
