 Tomoyo is Sakura's 3rd cousin and best friend. She usually can be seen videotaping Sakura. She videotapes Sakura as "Cardcaptor Sakura" and posts the vid.'s on her homepage. Tomoyo is the first 'other' person to know about Cardcaptor Sakura and Kero-chan being real. It is because Sakura trusts her so much, that Tomoyo is able to know this.
Tomoyo's mother, Sonomi Daidouji, would act the same with Sakura's mother, Nadeshiko Kinomoto. Sonomi admired Nadeshiko's beauty, and constantly videotaped her as well. Unfortunatle, Nadeshiko died when Sakura and Tomoyo were 3 (That makes it 7 years since her death in the series). Tomoyo designs all of Sakura's outfits.
