Kumiko – Ranma

	Story – Prologue

Jusenkyo, fifteen hundred years ago…

	A girl was drowning in a certain uncursed spring. For some reason, 
the girl mother who should have been on a long trip came back and found 
her.
	The mother dived into the spring and swam her child to the edge 
and put her child on the dry earth. Before she could get out of the spring, 
both her legs and arms cramped and she fell deeper into spring.
	She couldn’t stay afloat, and in front of her weeping child, the 
heroic young mother drowned.

Jusenkyo, this morning… 

	Genma hopped on top the pole over springs. “Hurry boy. Get up 
here.” Genma told Ranma. “No Mister Customer. Bad if you fall in spring 
and get curse.” The guide warned the elder Saotome.
	“Oyaji, are you sure that we should be doing this. Maybe we should 
listen to the guide.” Ranma said. “Only girls believe in old wives’ tales like 
curses. Are you becoming a weak girl.” Genma taunted Ranma.
	“I ain’t a girl baka.” Ranma retorted as he leapt on to the pole. 
“Please Mister Young Customer, not good if you fall in spring.” The 
Jusenkyo guide warn them, but to no avail.
	Father and son leap towards each other and met in the air. A few 
blows were exchange and then Ranma landed a kick that sent Genma 
flying into a spring. The smiling younger Saotome landed on a pole and 
watched his father land in a spring with pride in his own uncanny 
martial art skills.
	The pride in him turned to horror as he heard what the Guide said. 
“Oh very bad Mister Customer. That is ‘Spring of the Drowned Panda,’ 
Very tragic story about a Panda that drown in spring thousand years 
ago. Now who ever fall in spring get body of the panda.” The guide said.
	Ranma watched in growing horror as a panda erupted from the 
spring and lung at him. He was too shock to do anything and Genma 
knocked him into another spring.
	Genma – panda smirk in triumph. He looked where his lazy child 
should be. He thought he smack Ranma into one of the springs, but all he 
saw was a young woman in a wet gi in one of the springs.
	Hey wasn’t that Soun’s wife, Kumiko. Is Soun here as well, Genma 
thought he looked around for his friend while perched on top in top the 
pole Ranma once occupied.
	Ranma on the other hand started to scream, when he realized he 
had breast and something important was missing. “Oh Mister Young 
Customer Sir, You fall in ‘Spring of the drown Young Woman,’ tragic 
story of a young mother who drown saving her child from drowning 
fifteen hundred years ago. Now who ever fall in spring, take body of 
young woman.”

Tendo Dojo, Three weeks after Ranma’s Jusenkyo Incident…

	“Nabiki. Nabiki. Where is that girl?” Soun called out. Nabiki 
walked into the room. “Yeah daddy.” Nabiki said. “There you are. Can 
you get Kasumi and Akane here? We having a family meeting.” Soun 
asked his daughter.
	“Okay daddy.” Nabiki said as she walked out the door. “She went 
into the Kasumi and easily found Kasumi. “Kasumi.” Nabiki said. “Yes 
Nabiki,” the elder Tendo daughter replied. “Daddy called a family 
meeting.” Nabiki told her.
	“Thank you Nabiki.” Kasumi said as Nabiki left. Outside the house, 
Nabiki found Akane as she smash some cinder blocks with a mighty blow.
	“You know Akane. That why some of the boys think you are 
weird.” Nabiki walked up to her sister. “Who cares what boys think?” The 
youngest Tendo daughter stated.
	Nabiki shook her head and rubbed her temples. “Akane,” Nabiki 
looked at her, “daddy called a family meeting. Let’s go inside.”

	A young woman ran through the streets in the rain while pursued 
by a panda. When the panda was close enough, the young long charcoal 
black haired woman spun around and throw a hook kick that knock to 
the panda into a wall.
	“How dare you pick a fiancée for me.” The young woman shouted 
at the panda. “If you want this to go through, you marry her. I am going 
back to China to get a cure.”
	As the girl turn around, the evil panda got up and grabbed a street 
sign. The young woman was knocked out before she knew what hit her. 
The large panda pick up the girl as started to walk to the Tendo Dojo, 
ignoring the looks he was receiving from on lookers.

	“Fiancé” The Tendo girls said loudly. Actually, Nabiki and Akane 
screamed while Kasumi voice was but a bare whisper. “Yes. He’s the son 
of my old friend Genma. They been travel through China in a recent 
training trip.” Soun told his daughters.
	Nabiki knew what exotic travel usually meant money. “What does 
he look like.” Nabiki said with greed in her eyes. “I hope he’s not younger.” 
Kasumi said. Younger men were always immature.
	“Great, another pervert for me deal with.” Akane muttered to 
herself. Wasn’t enough that she had to fight those perverts at school, now 
she was going to live with one of them?
	Akane felt like she was going to be sick.

	Soun looked At Kasumi and Nabiki who were wear kimonos. “I 
honestly have no idea. Never met him.” Soun said. “WHAT?” Was the 
household’s female cry that echo from the house?
	“You engage us to someone you never met before.” Nabiki said with 
some anger and distress in her voice. Soun scratched the back of his head 
and had a nervous look on his face.
	Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. “I’ll get it.” Kasumi said as 
she got up. Kasumi went to open the door, as Nabiki was about to scream 
at her father. Suddenly there was a huge “OH MY!” was from the front 
door.
	The remaining members of Tendo family rush to the door. Akane 
was shock to she that Kasumi had fainted at the door. In the yard, they 
notice a young woman and a panda.
	She was very angry with both of them for hurting Kasumi. Then 
her anger changed into shock when she recognized the woman. Even 
Nabiki and Soun recognized her. “Mother.” Akane cried out. “Kumiko” 
Soun cried out with tears of joy. The young woman shot a confused look 
at the Tendo family.
	That when the panda hit the young woman in the head with a 
wood sign that said “a opening.” The young woman was knocked out cold 
because she had not fully recovered from the hit with the street sign.
	Nabiki, with an unusual show of love and caring, ran to the young 
woman and threw herself over unconscious woman to shield her from the 
evil panda.
	“HOW DARE YOU!” Soun launched his demon head attack that 
shocked the panda. Then Akane dashed forward and punt the panda to 
the heaven and beyond.
	With the panda defeated, and the young woman saved, they rushed 
to Nabiki and young woman. They discovered that Kasumi, who was 
conscious and by the young woman, was helping Nabiki in an attempt 
awake this woman.
	“Mother, wake up.” Kasumi said. “Ugh.” The woman said. “What 
going on.” The young woman sat up and cradled her aching head.
	“We can ask you the same thing mommy.” Nabiki said. “I ain’t ya 
mother.” The woman said as she stood up. “How can you say that 
Kumiko?” Soun said on the verge of tears. “I ain’t this Kumiko. I am 
Ranma Saotome.” The young woman said as she stood up.
	Soun fainted while Nabiki and Akane right eyes twitched. “Oh my. I 
think mother become delusional from that blow to the head.” Kasumi said 
as she tried to drag Ranma into the house.
