Dragon Angel Written by Leonardo Bigan Castro He will come from the Heavens like an angel, with a sword of mithril and a shield of gold; his snow-white wings shall be the only things heard. He shall strike at evil when the good has no will to stand. Like a Dragon, his flames shall consume the darkness. He’ll breathe life into the land once more at the cost of his life. And like a Phoenix, he’ll rise from the ashes that will scattered the battlefield known as earth. This is the legend of the Angelic Dragon known as Phoenix. Prologue Saotome Ranma was only sixteen years old when it happened. He was at the fable ‘Pools of Sorrow’ when he fell into the accurse spring that changed his gender. After he discovered his change, he grew angry. His battle aura flared to life. It proved to be his downfall. His aura dried up the spring. The spirits grew angry and cast Ranma away, into another reality. There, Son Goku taught him. Four years later, a year after the Cell Battles, Ranma summoned the dragon and wish to become ageless and that he may travel across realities so that he could go home. The Z Senshi missed Ranma. Even Goku from Heaven missed Ranma. Ranma promised to visit one day. He landed in the front of Lina Inverse. He learned magic from her in trade that he’ll teach her Martial Arts. He eventually left due to the fact Lina learned that Ranma was ageless had he saw the greed look in her eyes. He traveled across many realities, meeting many people. He learned science from Washu, Skuld, and the Protoss, Magic from Lina Inverse, Urd, Merlin, Dark Schneider, Rena, Celine, and Leon, and he learned swordsman ship from Gourry Gabriev, Yosho, Link, Gara, Trunks, Claude Kenni, Utena, and Lancelot. He learned Martial Arts of every world he went to. He long surpassed anyone back on his homeworld. He even went to alternate world where Cell was about to kill Gohan when Ranma flew in, destroyed Cell in matter of seconds. He learned manners from Chichi. He learned swearing from Ryoko and Urd. He learned cooking from Belldandy. He was master at the violin and still life painting. He had perfect penmanship. Sylphiel and Belldandy taught him compassion. He was the almost perfect warrior and human being. He was loved by many. Hate by a dark few. He was saying good bye to his new friends before leaving to the next world. This is where this story beings… Ranma looked at Tenchi and Ayeka as they approached. “So the Slayer of Kagato the Imposter and the Princess of Jurai come all this way to wish me farewell. I am honored.” He said with mocking tone and bow. Ranma’s wings, which he got from Washu by accident, or so she claims, unfolded and spread out and tap Ayeka on the head. She gave a startled gasp, as Ayeka was not use to Ranma’s new wings. Ranma gave a soft chuckle. “You. You never follow proper protocols and always scaring me. Why I consider you a friend is beyond me. You never treat me as the princess that I am. You’re just like that Ryoko woman.” Ayeka said angrily. Ayeka knew that wasn’t true. Ryoko treated her much worse then Ranma’s childish behavior. He treated her more like a sister, and that what bothered her. Then she regretted her angry words when she saw the sad look on Ranma’s face. “Sorry Ranma. I forgot.” Ayeka said. “Has there been,” Ranma asked with some hope in his voice as he turned to her, “any word from Ryoko yet.” Damn, why did he fall for that monster woman anyway, Ayeka wondered. “Sorry Ranma. No one heard from her since the Jurai Incident.” Tenchi said. Ranma looked downcast. Shadows covered his eyes as he looked away. Ayeka felt pity as she saw a lone tear, run down Ranma’s face. “I’ll be back, one day.” Ranma said as he turned his back on Tenchi and Ayeka. “Tenchi, when you get back to Earth, just wait for her. She loves only you and she’ll survive to be with you.” Ranma said. “Farewell Ryoko, wherever you are.” Ranma whispered. Ranma opened a portal and left that reality. Tenchi lower his head and walked away. Ayeka stood in the empty hall with tear running down her face. She thought with Ranma gone, she’ll be able to fully love only Tenchi again. But Ranma worming his way into her heart. Now all she had was Tenchi and now he’ll was leaving her too. So sad was the life of Jurai’s crown princess. In the portal room… Ranma was in an ageless room. A dark room that existed even before Earth had been created. He made his translucent laptop appeared (T. L. for short) and he started to type. When he touch the key broad, the key lit up. A gateway opened up and he and his computer were sucked in. He looked at the computer screen. Now was the moment of truth. Either he’ll go back to his world or this randomly pick reality will house him for a year or so. Then the world came across the screen and he smiled. For countless years of bending reality and time, he was going home. The ride was getting rough so he summoned his armor and made his computer vanished. This Ranma’s original reality… It was noon. Over the springs of sorrow, the sun shined bright. Then, all of China was under a huge cloud in a matter of moments. Above the accursed springs of sorrow, a single golden beam of light shot into front of the springs. A figure stepped out. He was in midnight-pitch black gothic looking suit of armor. Armor wing sprouted from his back. He donned a same colored helm that had a red visor. On his back, a Katana was strapped on. The guide left his hut and slowly walked closer to this person. The man suddenly snapped his finger and in flash of light, the armor was gone. The sky was back to normal and the golden beam of light was gone. The guide studied the man. He was tall and lean. He had old eyes, yet a young face. He had dark black hair tied into a pigtail. He had grayish blue iris. Then he noticed the wings. A pair of long white-feathered wings that made him looked like an angel. The guide gasp as he remember there was no ‘Spring of the Drown Angel.’ “Mr. Angel sir, not good for you here, come with me. Take you safe place, yes.” The guide said. The angel smirked. “My name is Saotome Ranma. Led the way.” The angel said. Cologne, Herb, and Saffron felt the Ranma’s power as Ranma entered the reality. This power greatly dwarfs their own. At the Amazon Village… Ranma watch as Shampoo and Dowel fought on the combat log. Kami-sama, they are so slow. He looked at the crowd. The shriveled up old crones that he guessed to be their elders were eyeing him strangely. His power must seem very powerful to them. Ranma was wondering if he should tell them that he was only showing a tenth of a percent of his max, just to see the look on their face. Then his thoughts were interrupted as Shampoo knocked Dowel off the log. Then Ranma notice most off the females were staring at him. The look of lust in their eyes was making him nervous. Shampoo wiped the sweat off her brow. She looked to the crowd and noticed that most of the crowd was looking at the stranger with wings then her. Then she noticed how cute he was. She jumped off the log, ran through the crowd, and stopped in front of Ranma. “I challenge you.” She said in Chinese. “I accept your challenge. Eat this and it’ll make strong again.” Ranma said in Chinese. He tossed her a green bean. She caught it. It looked like a normal bean. She looked back at Ranma and Ranma threw a bean in his mouth and chew and swallowed it. Shampoo followed suit and was shock when her strength and energy flow through her veins again. She looked at Ranma and noticed he was on the challenge log. Shampoo ran back with renew vigor. She leapt on top of the log and charged with her bonbori. She swung the bonbori at his head and then watched it shattered. Ranma was left undamaged. He stood there as if the attack never happened. Shampoo threw a series of punches at Ranma but cause no damage other than Shampoo aching hands. Ranma spread his wings and flapped them a few times. It caused a powerful gust that blow Shampoo off the log where she landed by her Great Grandmother. He flew off the log and land in front of Cologne. Shampoo threw her self at Ranma and he caught her. She kissed him on the lips. “Wo ai ni.” Shampoo said. “Sleep.” Ranma said as he touched Shampoo forehead. She fell asleep in his arms. “Welcome to the family Son-in-law.” Cologne said. “What?” Ranma asked. “By tribal law,” Cologne said as she pointed to her great granddaughter, “you won Shampoo through combat as your wife.” Ranma looked thoughtful for a moment. “And tell me, how old is your tribe.” Ranma asked with a smirk. “The Amazon have three thousand years traditions behind them.” Cologne proudly said. “Well I’m few thousand years older than your whole tribe history child.” Ranma said to a shock Cologne. “I’m off to Japan. Good bye.” Ranma said. Ranma flew away at the speed of light and landed in on top of Tokyo Tower. “Where would Pops be.” Ranma said as he made his T. L. appeared. He started to type. The location of the Tendo Dojo appeared on the screen. He made his T. L. disappear. He flew to Nerima. Akane was about to break cinder blocks when a shadow of an angel crossed the yard. She could heard the sound of flapping of wings above her but refuse to look up until a snow-white feather landed on top of the cider blocks. She looked up and gasped as she saw an angel. A real angel flying in front of her. The angel landed in front of her and smiled at her. She felt like swooning. She couldn’t help but put on a stupid grin on her face. “Excuse me. Is this the Tendo Dojo.” He asked. She nodded and then swooned. He caught her and picked up. She snuggled closer to him as he walked into the house. Nabiki was working on her budget in her room when she saw the most handsome man she ever saw flew by the window. She looked out the window and stared at the beautiful angel. She looked heavenward and clapped her hands together. “Thank you Kami-sama.” She cried out as she grabbed her camera and went to take pictures of and seduce, er- make friends with the Angel. Kasumi was cleaning when Ranma enter the house carrying Akane. Oh my, Kami-sama must have heard my praying for a loving husband last night and sent an angel to fulfill my wish, Kasumi thought. Oh my. Akane seem to like my hard-earned angel, Kasumi realized when she saw Akane snuggling to Ranma. “I’ll take care of her.” Kasumi said as she steps closer to grab Akane. “No need Miss. By the way, have you seen a Genma Saotome.” Ranma asked as he set Akane on the couch. So he is not here for me, I just make him want to stay, Kasumi silently vowed. “No, he is out with father in a bar getting drunk because of Mr. Saotome ill luck in bringing back his son.” Kasumi told him. “Thank you Miss, ” Ranma said as he turned to face her, “My name his Saotome Ranma. Nice to meet you.” Ranma, as in Mr. Saotome’s son, Kasumi mentally screamed. “My name is Tendo Kasumi. I’m your fiancée.” Kasumi said with a smile. “My WHAT.” Ranma said with bulging eyes. “You are Mr. Saotome’s son right.” Kasumi asked him. “Yes, I am his son.” Was Ranma’s replied. “Mr. Saotome pledged that his son will marry a Tendo from branch of anything goes martial arts.” Kasumi explained. At that moment, Ranma promptly fainted. “Oh my.” Kasumi said. Her angel fainted. Don’t worry Ranma, I’ll make the perfect housewife, Kasumi silently promised. Just then, Nabiki came running down the stair with a wild look in her eyes. Kasumi frown at this and… To Be Continued… Praise me or burn me, but do not forsake me.
