A New Start on Life Written By Leonardo B. Castro Hope is fragile, but don’t despair. Hope may be fragile, but not easily killed. Never give up, and one day, your wish may come true. Chapter One Nabiki sat alone at her computer. She had rushed home. Something was off. Masaki wasn’t supposed to win, he was supposed to get beaten up. And she seen enough of Kuno’s fighting style to know that Ranma should at least have a major head wound. “What are you up to Ranma Masaki…” Ranma felt better immediately when Akane she pat him on the back. Or maybe it was that his ancestors stop trying to punish him. “Ranma, are you okay now?” Akane asked. She checked his forehead. No, he doesn’t have fever, Akane discovered. Maybe he had eaten something bad. That bento seemed okay? Akane pondered on Ranma health. Ranma stood up straight again. “Don’t worry about that Akane. I am fine.” Ranma said. She gave him a funny look, but again, said nothing. Then two people rushed towards them. Ranma immediate recognized the two people. It was Ukyo in a boy’s uniform and Ryoga in his usual attire. “Prepare to die, Ukyo.” Ryoga said. “Hey, Ranma is a neutral ground remember. Can’t kill me now.” Ukyo said as she, and yes it is a she, ran behind Ranma. Funny, if memory serves correctly, no one figured out that she’s a she yet, Ranma thought to himself. “Well isn’t P-chan.” Akane sneered. That’s right, I am P-Chan’s owner in this reality and I even though I know that it’s Ryoga; Man, I can’t believe that I protecting Ryoga from being cooked and Akane. Talk about a twist of fates, Ranma thought to him, now herself as she was splashed by some water that came from the ladle lady. Ryoga skidded to a halt. He looked at Ranma’s female form and blushed. Girl in wet shirt minus bra, and add one Ryoga equal Ryoga with a nosebleed and fainting. True to that law of nature, Ryoga was already face first in the ground. A puddle of blood soon formed under his head. Ranma sighed depressingly as she rolled over Ryoga’s body. “Ryoga. Hey, Ryoga. Hey man, are you still alive.” Ranma asked the unconscious lost boy. Ryoga’s eyes were open, but there were glazed, as if seeing nothing. Most likely seeing nothing, Ranma shook her head as she checked the lost boy’s pulse. “Whoa. Ryoga looks like he is really out of it.” Ukyo shook her head. “See you people around.” Ukyo said as she took off and hope to get away from Ryoga before the said lost boy came back to his senses. “Come on Ranma. Just leave that bathroom peeking pervert alone.” Akane said. Without Ranma there, Akane manage to try to give P-chan a hot bath. I can imagine how that went, Ranma thought. “He still alive.” Ranma was done with her checking on the lost boy’s health. “Yeah, unfortunately.” Akane muttered. “I wondered what caused him to faint like that.” Akane thought out loud. Then she noticed how Ranma’s shirt was clinging to her body and Ryoga’s nosebleed, and made the connection. “RYOGA, YOU PERVERT.” Akane punted the lost boy into the stratosphere. Ranma shook her head silently chuckled to her self. “Let’s go Akane,” Ranma started to walk towards her home, “I need to be home. Something about meeting my father’s side of the family.” Akane let her anger flow out of her body. With a smile she followed our pig-tailed martial artist to his home. Then stopped by a nearby Ramen shop to get some hot water. Ranma looked at the house where he lived. It was a beautiful and large two-story house with a blue roof. A white iron bar fence that had rose design on it surrounded the house. With the small garden that was on the sides of the walkway, the house was perfect. Well, except for the words on the side of the front door. It said in large words, “ Washu’s inanimate object cloning project subject 04234-47: HOUS3.” Ranma still didn’t know what that meant. Ranma started to walk to his home when he paused. “Akane would you like to come in.” Ranma asked. “Um. Okay Ranma. But I thought you said that you meeting your father’s side of the family. Isn’t that personal.” Akane asked with some uncertainties in her voice. “But Akane. I already think of you as family.” My wife to be exact, Ranma silently added. Akane’s thoughts of Ranma’s words went along the similar lines as his, except her train of thought entered The Land of Hentai. Ranma looked at Akane with some concern when she put on a goofy grin and her eyes glazed for a moment. “Um. Akane. Are you okay?” Ranma asked Akane. That brought Akane back to earth. She looked into Ranma’s eyes and saw the same hunger that she saw earlier. Does he want me? Akane pondered. She had to force herself to tear her eyes away from Ranma’s eyes, or her mind would have went back into the Land of the Hentai. “Oh, I’m sorry Ranma. Let’s continue.” Akane wrapped her arm around Ranma’s arm and they walked towards the house. As Ranma neared the house, he felt that something was missing. When they reached his house Ranma dug his hands into his pockets and discovered that they were empty. “Ranma. Don’t tell me you forgot your key.” Akane let out a sigh. “MOM. DAD. I FORGOT MY KEYS!” Ranma yelled out loud. Ranma heard footsteps and then the door opened to reveal his mother, Nodoka Masaki. Before anyone of them could speak, a person walking on sidewalk yelled out loud, “ Ranma, Akane. Invite me to ya guys wedding, okay,” and then continue on his way. “Oh. I have such a manly son. When’s the wedding.” Nodoka cried. This, might be problem. I don’t to even think about marriage with Akane until after high school. This might also push Akane away, Ranma thought. “So, Tenchi. Where my next gi-, I mean that little boy of yours.” Washu asked. Tenchi noticed the slip and let out a sigh. “You promise not to try to experiment on my son.” Tenchi said as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. “Your son, yes. Your daughter, no.” Washu said with a wicked gleam in her eyes as she held a cup of cold water. “Little Washu. Please, promise me that you won’t do anything to Ranma. I want him to meet you guys, but not know that you and grandfather’s side of family are…special. Don’t high tech experiments tends to blow that cover.” Tenchi tried to talk Washu Princess Ayeka of the Planet Jurai wasn’t happy. Ryoko wasn’t cooperating. Why couldn’t Ryoko just die? “Die monster woman. Fire another round.” Ayeka screamed as her Jurian Tree Ship open another hail of fire on Ryo-oh-ki. Ryoko on the other hand was having the time of her life. She hadn’t had a good fight since she left earth. “Not chance Princess. Ryo-oh-ki, evade and counterattack.” Ryoko ordered. The black crystal ship mewed and did as she was told, and danced out of Ayeka’s ship’s laser blast and then return fire. Suddenly, another image screen appeared in both of the ships. The person the screen was… To be continued… Praise me or burn me…but at least tell me what on your mind.
